I Finally Found My Dentist

I hadn’t been to the dentist in over four years because, you know, life got in the way. Before that, I always took care of my teeth, but sometimes things happen that are beyond your control, and you have to put yourself on the back burner while you deal with everything else.

Over the last 4 years, I had four teeth that had previously been crowned, pulled, because I simply couldn’t afford to have them redone. I also knew I had cavities and gum recession, and I was ashamed that I had let things get to that point. I delayed and dreaded seeing a dentist again, for not only embarrassment but the fact I let my teeth get this bad and having them look in my mouth and say “OMG did you see that girl’s teeth !” .

I’m so grateful that wasn’t my experience.

Dr. Yip was kind, and incredibly thorough. She took her time, explained everything in a way I could understand, answered all of my questions, and never once made me feel embarrassed about how I got there. She didn’t focus on the past—she focused on helping me move forward.

Instead of making me feel bad about the condition of my teeth, she came up with a plan to help me get them back on track. For the first time in a long time, I left a dental office feeling hopeful instead of overwhelmed. I feel confident in the plan she put together, and I’m committed to doing everything I can to follow through with it.

The front office staff were also wonderful. They were friendly and welcoming, and they emailed me my treatment plan before I even left the office, which I really appreciated.

Dr. Yip, thank you for treating me with kindness instead of judgment. You probably don’t realize how much that meant to me, but I’ll never forget it.```

I’ve been with Dr. Mandy for years. She is smart funny and beautiful🕊️She takes all the time she needs to always do perfect 🎉dental procedures. I’m a grandpa and had many dentists in all my years…she is the best😊

I have been coming to this dental office for over a year now. Dr Yip and all of her staff are incredible. Every time I come in they treat me with so much care and address my concerns. I’ve had surgical procedures with Dr Yip and she did an incredible job, I had a quick recovery time and no issues. thank you so much I love this office!!!!
