I absolutely love doctor Barry, however I’m very upset because appointments are 3 months minimum to be seen.
They shouldn’t take new patients and take care of the ones already with them. Very disappointing

Dr. Yvonne Barry is exactly what you hope for in a physician—smart, attentive, compassionate, and genuinely human. She actually listens, remembers who you are, and talks to you like a person rather than a chart number. In a healthcare system that can sometimes feel more concerned with policies than people, Dr. Barry has never lost sight of the person sitting in front of her. I trust her, I appreciate her, and I’m incredibly grateful she’s my doctor. We need more physicians like her.

I came in with a severe cough and Dr. Barry ordered lab work, which turned out to have an issue with the order itself. Rather than resolving the problem promptly, I was scheduled for repeated follow-up appointments where the same information was rehashed each time with zero progress.
It has now been over 40 days and the lab order still has not been corrected. Despite multiple calls and explicit promises from Dr. Barry's that the issue would be fixed, nothing has been done. I am still waiting. Please avoid this place if you care about yourself.

I was in need of a new primary doctor and went to my insurance agent who is wonderful about knowing doctors and their reliability. She recommended Dr. Barry's new office on Rainbow Blvd. She has been my new primary for a couple of years and she is fantastic. I have several issues ...including my spine...and she works unhestantly with my spinal doctors and procedures needed. I am very fortunate.

First visit went well, second visit I was berated by front desk person. Absolutely unpleasant
I was asked to verify and sign a document and then attacked for reading and double checking information

Very doubtful on a third visit.

Stay away from this doctor and her assistant's. Her referral department is incompetent,abusive and uncaring toward's senior citizens suffering from many ailments.Please review Medical Examiners Board before you chose this doctor.Why would Valley Oaks Med hire these people.Going to bring these issues to the CEO..Very unprofessional.Better off going to intermountain or umc network.Medical Examiners Board document public file .Wow this is the worst network.Jesus and Jesse should be terminated for abuse and incompetency.

Despite some bad reviews, I wanted to give her a fair chance. Dr. Barry did not follow through on my health. She was ok, but never sent over my prescriptions. I called back for a follow and she still didn’t put them in. She didn’t check to see where my insurance would take x-rays, because when I went, they turned me away, so staff had no clue about where I had to go. Now I’m starting all over with a different medical group!
Barry didn’t seem to care about my well being or health at all. Concerned that the right safety measures were not taken while getting blood drawn.
Choose someone else, I’ll never go back. It was probably the worst care I’ve ever had.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED , Unfortunately for me due to changes in insurances I have to go somewhere else now. I have had 4 different doctors within the 2 years she is the only Doctor that has keep their Hippocratic oath that I’ve come across. I was a cash paying customer and she definitely put my health before her pocket and overhead as a business. Also she spent more time asking ?s and explaining any conditions

I really like her, and she doesn’t talk down to you with technical medical jargon. With that being said, her support staff is why I put down the 2 stars. I’ve spent 10 days trying to get a script filled with no success.

WORST OFFICE EVER!!! Had a scheduled appointment, which they canceled in January 2019.... then I rescheduled my appointment to July 24, 2019... I received a voicemail that my appointment has been canceled and that I need to reschedule.... I've been trying to contact them for two full days... no answer (not even a recording), I sent a fax with my message and it did not go through!!! What is the point of selecting a primary if you can NEVER get a hold of them!!!

I'm searching for a NEW PRIMARY!!!!

I have changed primary physicians because the amount of time (3 months!!) to be seen by her is unacceptable. When I mentioned that to my insurance they suggested I find a new doctor. I did see her 6 months ago as a new patient within the same group, and she spent 5 minutes with me. I needed a referral for a hand x-ray, and got that, but the referral had to be resubmitted because she didn't sign it. I tried to stay in the same group, but all of this wasn't good care in my opinion. My change to her was because a really good doctor in the group went concierge. I Couldn't afford that.
