I received a referral from my doctor.
When his office called I was informed that this office is "cash only" and if I wanted a consultation there would be a fee.

I understand that cosmetic procedures are not covered under insurance, but I am not looking for a cosmetic procedure.

Why would I pay a fee other than my copay or deductible to see a specialist?!?!
