After a recent fall and within 30 minutes, my 87 yr old client complained of pain under his right arm. I suspected a fractured rib and received push back, aka, stubbornness. On Friday I called the doctor's office and was able to get in the same day with Kim Tatum, NP. Kim asked pointed questions, listening intently. She then provided her theory, however, it was immediately followed with, "in order to accurately find out the real problem, I'm sending you for X-rays now". The Order was sent to the imaging office, we were provided a copy as well and drove, literally, "down the street and around the corner" to the imaging office. Monday rolled around and to our surprise, Kim CALLED with the results!!! Not a call to schedule an office visit or had someone else call with the results, but Kim CALLED! Yes, the suspension was correct, however, two (2) fractured ribs. THANK YOU SO MUCH, KIM, for listening, taking immediate action, not prolonging an office visit, and more importantly, CALLING your patient! An abundance of BLESSINGS to you!
