Always feel comfortable at Eastwind Dental. Dr. Nguyen is great. I always seem to have a hard time getting numbed up at the dentist. He always takes good care of me. Just had a root canal done. The procedure went great.

Had to make an emergency run to the dentist on 10/22/25 to see DR. Nguyen. My bridge had come loose and I was short 3 teeth. He was able to temporarily glue it back in place. Just so you know he was not the dentist that did the original work.

Terrible bedside manner. You don’t go to a Dr’s office to get irritated. The Dr didn’t bother introduce himself, barely blurted short and rushed answers. Didn't bother pull down his mask to COMMUNICATE, despite having a heavy Asian accent and speaking too fast for a doctor. There was nothing complex about removing a cavity so there was no reason to go through unnecessary aggravation at all. Not recommended of course.

What can I say, I had a last minute appointment because I am switching jobs and my new job isn't going to have the same type of insurance and I needed a teeth cleaning before the end of the month.

They were extremely courteous promptly assisted me were able to squeeze me in even checked and double checked my insurance coverage.

I'm responding to one of the bad reviews. The one who complained about having to pay while on Medicaid. The reason you had to pay is NOT because of the dentist LOL Medicaid only covers the exam, xray and emergency extraction. That's it.
The dentist needs to be paid for their work. Nobody works for free.

Arrived for 11/30 appointment and had very little wait time. I was told procedure would be two hours. Doctor and staff finished in 99 minutes. Patient chairs also have tv to watch. I'm not sure why this dentist has such a good rating. I actually came to read reviews because I feel mistreated by this office & wondered how many others feel the same. Let me start by saying it's easy to get an appointment. That should have been my first red flag. What 'good' dentist do you know that's 'easy' to get in to see? None. Next, the receptionist is impossible to communicate with, because her English is not good. For a telephone job, it should be better. She does not follow up with you when it's time for a cleaning, you just have to guess. When you walk in the office, there is no warm friendly greeting, it's just what's your name, your insurance..., and take a seat. My real issue here is the dentist. I am not here to slander anyone, just telling my perspective/experience. I have been to this dentist for three years and every visit I have "no cavities" & have been complimented on how well I take care of my teeth. Every. Single. Time. For. Three. Years. Straight. Dentist can even tell I floss (and my last 3 or 4 dentists can tell I take good care of my teeth). But all of the sudden my gums started to swell and it was painful enough I could not eat, so I made an emergency visit, where I was told that my "poor dental hygiene caused gum disease". WHAT?!! I floss, brush, and use mouthwash daily, I also have a Waterpik that I frequently use. I have always taken good care of my teeth. I see this dentist for exam and cleaning and have never been told of any issues until that day. I was informed I needed a deep cleaning, $500, and refused any other services until I had this done. REFUSED. So, I quit this dentist and went somewhere else, which is when I learned that due to the lack of care by my previous dentist (Eastwind Dental) I now need thousands of work done! One of my teeth has been neglected for so many years (yes years according to my new dentist) that the decay has reduced the tooth to the point of needing a root canal and crown. Yes, this is now sinking in that I have been in and out of Eastwind Dental for 3 years without proper care, and it's going to cost me financially & physical suffering to fix what I paid him to PREVENT! Extremely unhappy & absolutely do NOT recommend unless you don't care about your dental health.

My first visit because of a horrible toothache. The decision was made to extract and I was terrified. The Dr. extracted my tooth in less than 5 minutes, no pain at all. I went home and was expecting to feel horrible once the anesthesia wore off. I was wrong. Of course the area was tender but that only lasted a couple days. I am amazed! While they may not be the most talkative staff, or stylish of dentist offices I've ever dealt with, (and I've had quite a few) they truly care about their patients and want you to be happy with the end result. Considering I had THE most disruptive of procedures done here (use your imagination). Dr. Ngyuen and Megan are so nice, and Dr. Ngyuen was able to fill a tooth that I thought was going to be a root canal. Did a fantastic job, and their prices are better than any dentist I have researched. They also work Saturdays, which is so convenient.

Everyone there is very friendly, works quickly but really efficiently making sure even on a simple cleaning that they hit everything. Also when it comes to teeth being Dr. Nguyen is probably the best makes sure you are comfortable and numb before he extracts the teeth. Great place definitely recommend it to everyone.
