I wish I never met this monster. Shane took a laser to my mouth for 4 hours and absolutely annihilated my bone and gums. Shane lied to me and said he spoke with my actual dentist - Shane never did, Shane decided he knew more than everyone else. Shane’s stupidity and arrogance has left me in a nightmare situation. I have received multiple FREE painful corrective surgeries just to minimize the damage Shane had done. My reconstructive surgeons (plural, a team of surgeons) literally cried, hugged me, and gave me charity work when they saw how Shane had mutilated me. Shane did not understand laser treatment and cranked the intensity to the max.
I was in pure agony while Shane did this despite being injected almost a dozen times with numbing. Now I have to live with no real gum or bone around my upper teeth because Shane is the worst dentist to ever exist. I hope Shane lives with his decisions the same way I have to. There's a special place in Hell for monsters like Shane. Never go here, EVER!

I had pain in my front right tooth and Dr. Shane Ellsworth performed a root canal and bone graft on it and I really loved how knowledgeable he was about the whole process, and he was very kind the whole time. The way he talks to his staff is really friendly and almost like a loving father talking to his beloved kids. I don’t like feeling any pain and Dr. Ellsworth ensured I would feel as little pain as possible. He always wants to ensure you are numbed to make the process easier for the patient. I would definitely come back again for a root canal if I ever needed it. I hope I never do! Dr. Ellsworth is really a fantastic dentist.

Oh boy, I don’t write reviews, but this one sent me. Showed up for a confirmed appointment today 9/30/26 and saw the building was under construction. Ok, NBD, maybe they’re somewhere else. Nope; called and confirmed they were indeed closed and wouldn’t be open again until November. They also said a date different from my confirmed appointment and said they sent me several texts and emails to notify me of the closure, obviously those didn’t get through. Dentists are generally not my favorite because of the anxiety I get from being there, but this takes the cake for utter nonsense.

I always have a great experience here. I was not seen by my regular dental hygienist, but the young lady who stood in her that day was just as amazing. I have been a client for more than 10 years now and have recently moved to another part of the city, but I don't mind the drive to receive my dental care from this great staff.

Great experience with Ellsworth staff for cleaning and small fillings. Also positive experience with removal of permanent retainers up and down and then the scanning and fitting of night retainers. Friendly, kind, funny, casual and laid back staff. Able to listen to my favorite music as well which eased nerves and made it more enjoyable. Yesterday I received treatment as a result of a consultation last week.
This was the same procedure that my wife had at a different dentist's office last year although mine might be considered more intricate as it involved avoiding damage to a bridge.
Time for completion of my procedure was almost exactly one quarter of the duration of my wife's with that other dentist which putatively was without any unforseen problems.
I found Dr S to be thorough and knowledgeable, as with the other doctors I have dealt with, and all staff with whom I interacted were kind and welcoming.
In addition, upon the initial consultation, I gave the doctor a perfect opening to "upsell " some additional work but he explained how that was not necessary at this time.
I definitely would feel comfortable recommending Elsworth Dental, and already did to my spouse.

Dr. Ellsworth's office has been great for me; they are affordable and take the time to explain everything they are doing. I used to go to another dental office in Henderson, and even with insurance, the copays were in the hundreds. Since I switched to Dr. Ellsworth, my copays have decreased dramatically. Been going there for years. Original owner sold the business and since then I have had 4 different hygienists. My cleanings have always been covered under routine care on my insurance. This time fee was $49.00 and I was told it was because of a deep cleaning process and a periodontal cleaning. The cleaning I had took 10 minutes and was not a deep cleaning. Also since I go 3 times per year I would call it routine and periodic. Just sayin. Gotta say though all staff are friendly.

Before moving to LV I've had the same dentist for about 15yrs; didn't think I could find another like him, until I found Doc Ellsworth.

I've had a fear of dentist since my college days when a butcher dentist scarred me for life, so when I moved to LV it was a challenge. Finding a dentist who understands patients fears and can work through them was challenging until a friend recommended Doc Ellsworth. I made an appointment, went in for my consultation, talked through my fears with him, and he's been my dentist for the past 5yrs (I think, or close to that, lol) He is the one for me, I don't plan to go anywhere else (unless he retires...hopefully not no time soon 😆) He is the best 🙂
