3 years still can't get anyone to answer the phone. Internet says the address is 3930 South Eastern avenue. Their voicemail when you click one of the options says that the address is 3920 Eastern. Not fun when you have to crawl on your hands and knees back and forth trying to find out where you're supposed to be going after the taxi drops you off. Unfortunately my PCP booked me with desert for some odd reason so I have been trying to book an appointment to get a knee x-ray for the last two and a half years now and still can't get a single person to ever answer the phone and EVERY option I press are always full and they tell you to call back again later. SO STILL DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA HOW TO FIGURE OUT IF I SHOULD BOOK MY UBER WITH THE ADDRESS THAT'S POSTED ON GOOGLE INTERNET OR IF I SHOULD GO TO THE ADDRESS THAT'S VERBALLY GIVEN ON THE OFFICE LOCATION OPTION AT YOUR OFFICE. πŸ™„

The staff was decent, especially when I was in extreme pain after the MRI. Even wheeled me to my car. What im highly upset about is my report not being available in a timely manner. I had the MRI done on Feb 12th and on the 27th when I saw my doctor the report was still not completed. I called and spoke to medical records about this and asked if staff could be coached/talked to about this. Then medical records said "well did you ask how long for the results? Or did anyone let you know that it takes seven to ten business days, not including holidays or weeknds?" How is that a proper response, placing the blame/responsibility on the patient?

I called to reschedule an appointment at the Palomino DR location.
Tenessa answered my call around 1pm on Tuesday, 2/24/2026. I politely asked her for another appointment which she did after confirming my information. When she rescheduled my appointment and confirmed it; gave me instructions for the day of, I said thank you. She replied with "well you have a good weekend or whatever...." with a sarcastic sound. She should be retrained not to end a call like that because it isn't polite at all. It sounded dismissive and rude. Thank you

Never go to any desert radiology place if you are the type of person to know what you will be paying for. The billing department never knows your estimate cost and will tell you to send an email. Nobody will respond to your email so most likely you’ll receive a surprise bill. I’m never coming back here. Didn’t realize how difficult it is JUST to receive an estimate!

UPDATE: 10/17/25 Well it's actually worse than horrible. Took the CD that DR burned for me to the Dr. and they did NOT include my KUB XRay on the CD! What kind of training do you have for your employees. Telling everyone I meet or know to go elsewhere.
Actually Less than 1 star. HORRIBLE Customer Service. Had order for a CT and and XRay. Checkin people do not greet customers. I checked in at 7:25 and at 7:40 I was done with the CT and went back to waiting room at 7:48am to wait for xray which opens at 8am and is only walk in. After 30 min I went to the desk and she said the tech cancelled my xray appt because maybe she thought I'd left, I said why would she do that when no one came and called my name to see if I was here. and orders are in the system for an xray. No apology. Nothing. Was there for over 1 hour for what should have been done in 30 min. Plus now they tell me they no longer give CD's at this location. So now I have to drive many miles to pick one up. Why not tell people that in advance? This company needs to do some very serious customer service training and I will never go back.

The only complaint I have was in the waiting room. TV was too loud could not hear any name being called between the patient chatter and the TV. It was very annoying. I am a veteran and was sent here due to the VA wait times. I need a CT scan on my head after having continuing issues from brain surgery. The lady on the phone refused to schedule the scan, saying I needed some "VA TAX" number???? I've never needed anything like that. So I tell her to schedule me as CASH PAY and STILL she refused to schedule me. I need this done NOW and I know they get VA patients regularly. There is no reason they couldn't figure out the missing info (like calling the ordering office) especially when they are making a fortune of the VA and U.S. tax payers. Incompetent

Scheduling and whoever submits for insurance pre-auth (or doesn’t) is the worst. They take months and literally act like they don’t even speak the same language, not understanding basic questions and concerns. They will cancel appointments that you’ve waited months for without asking first if you want the option of paying for a test you need when insurance denies it. I am filled with dread when I have to call and endure their insane hold times only to get someone who appears to speak your language but still can’t understand you. As the appointment date approaches, there’s about a 50/50 chance that they will call you the day before saying they didn’t get pre-auth when they didn’t get it bc they never submitted for it, or all of the sudden they don’t have a tech available. Once you finally get in for your test, the imaging techs
are kind, professional and thorough. They (and the front office staff) are the only redeeming thing about Desert Rad

I wish I could select 0 stars. I haven't even been to the office yet. My doctor sent a referral back in May they then failed to schedule an appointment for me for a month while I called my doctor and them every 3 days. I finally get an appointment scheduled. I have 2 confirmations. They sent the latest confirmation at 0845 last Wednesday. I try to pre register for my appointment this morning and it says "we can't find your appointment please call the front desk." I attempted to do so. After 30 minutes of trying to discern what "Gem" was saying he said my appointment was canceled on Wednesday at 1 pm. Are you serious?! What a joke.

The service at this facility seems adequate, but their billing services are not friendly at all. When calling to get help on billing questions after receiving multiple bills that we had already paid, we were assured it was indeed paid. Because we had been billed several times after we had made payment, we ask for written verification that we had a $0.00 balance. We were told a statement stating this would be sent to our email on file.
We received an email, but the email directed us to a secure site that required us to create an account.
We attempted to open an account following their directions very carefully. After being unsuccessful 5 times we called back to the number on the bill.
The agent said his name was John. He again put us through all the security questions, not just once, but three times. He again assured us the balance on our account was $0.00 but told us the only way to send us verification was through the secure web site or by snail mail.
John was very focused on what he wanted to tell us, but was totally deaf to our concerns about our difficulties In logging into our account.
He could not, or he was not interested in explaining why bills could be emailed to without all the security, but a simple statement showing a $0.00 balance cannot.

Just a very unsatisfactory experience over all!

I was referred here by my primary for a diagnostic test, and while the initial call went seamlessly to make the appointment, and the appointment itself was fine (the technicians are thorough and explained everything very well), my dispute is with their billing communication.

I was told when I made my appointment that I will have a $502 co-pay due at the time of the appointment, which I paid. I was then surprised to receive another bill 2 weeks later for another $532. When I contacted their billing office, I was told that the initial co-pay at the time of the appointment was the FACILITY co-pay and the additional bill was the RADIOLOGIST co-pay. I was never once told there would be additional co-pay charges, or I would have shopped around for another radiology facility. Very bad business in this economy, and another example of doctors offices taking advantage.

Ask for ALL co-pay charges when you make your appointments here.

Hey Desert Radiology.....I have sent 2 emails with NO response. I am still waiting for the results that were promised to me by end of day via email. The information was conveyed through a customer service representative because your supervisor refused to get on the phone with me. And fyi....I filed a complaint with my insurance company so they are aware of the unjustifiable delay in getting results and obvious contempt from your employees for patients.

Update 5/20/25....I emailed Desert Radiology over the weekend to try to get results and as of today,my Dr's office is still waiting for CT results and I had the test 27 days ago!!!! This is appalling for a scan your own radiologist suggested and my dr ordered to re-examine a nodule in my lung!!! As of right now, I have been on hold 14 minutes trying to get someone to talk to about this. There is no way that this is an appropriate amount of time for results. And if my dr orders a STAT read, I'm sure it costs a lot more. You should not schedule so many appointments if you can't provide the service we need. If I could give 0 stars I would. No one has answered my email, or made any attempt to fix this problem.

The staff are nice and professional but they are seriously understaffed. Today is day 23 of waiting for my chest CT to actually be reviewed by a radiologist. The scan was recommended by a radiologist 3 months ago after a CT showed a nodule in my right lung. So my dr ordered a repeat scan to ensure the nodule hadn't grown. I had to reschedule my appointment with my specialist (which was scheduled for 22 days post-scan) because no radiologist submitted the report of my results. My follow-up is now scheduled for 7 days from today and I will be furious if I have to reschedule again because they don't have the staff to read a scan. How they think that 3-4 weeks is an appropriate amount of time for reports on medical issues that could be life changing is beyond my comprehension. Today is 23 days. No report yet. If you need immediate results, or even timely results, go somewhere else. Desert Radiology takes too long. In no world is 23 days and counting acceptable for test results.

Front Desk Staff needs to be more professional and timely. About 5 girls at one side sat together conversing amongst themselves while patients are waiting to be checked in. My own appointment was at 2, I arrived at 1:50 and still wasn't checked in until AFTER 2:30p but why, I watched these girls check in patients that arrived after me, at least 3 people. Though the Technicians themselves were Great! Very polite & professional so they should be applauded. However that front office staff, that's the 1st impression of your company and these ladies unfortunately, are letting you fall in that regard.

The tech that did the imaging is SUPER (thank you), however, the clerk that record patients (1st cubicle to the left next to the registry counter) was so inexperienced that she only asked me to sit and wait. She didn't asked me if I already register in the counter. I waited for almost 40 minutes and I asked another clerk at the middle counters because my appointment of 1:40pm is almost past due and she told me to sit and wait. For almost over 1 hour I asked again and somebody with a presence of mine asked me if I already register at the counter and said NO because no one said so but to "sit and wait" for my name to be called. As soon as I registered, the Tech had taken me right away for examinations. Thank you Tech (I was unable to obtain her name). I believe, these clerks at the cubicles need some direction and training on how they should deal with patients. They should also be observant on the patients waiting for so long on their seats. On behalf of others who are having these type of experiences, the management should do some improvements to avoid such inconveniences.

Scheduling the appointment was rough because there was some miscommunication on one end and I had to call my doctor and radiology back and forth because for some reason staff did not know which scan I needed even though it’s on the paperwork. However, I had an amazing experience with the tech who walked me through my nuclear medicine, he was very kind and thorough. Answered my questions and made me feel taken care of. So for that I’d rate my experience high and would recommend this location to others.

I didn't have to wait very long. The processing staff is very efficient. I've been there a few times and not crazy about filling out so many sheets, both sides! Once inside, the technician was helpful but kept talking while the loud MRI machine is on. I told him I can't understand. He kept talking anyway. The hard surface of the bed is very painful for my back. I asked for pillows for under my knees and back. He couldn't get one for my back. I had to endure.

I visited Desert radiology for my annual mammogram. Although the procedure itself is not real pleasant the person that performed my procedure was very pleasant, gentle and comforting. It’s so important that these professionals try to make us feel comfortable about what we’re going to experience. It’s always sparkling clean when I go. I love some of the advertisement they have using pictures of hummingbirds to me is so pleasant to look at everything made me feel comfortable around me, as well as the person that performed my procedure. Desert radiology has never disappointed me.
