I had the worst experiences. My disability lawyer contacts the doctor to have him provide some context. The Dr Tanbakuvhi calls me and asks me to book a visit a month after the forms were due. Then i show up for the appointment and nurse african american tarantula eyes (fake eye lashes) informs me the doctor isnt filling these forms out he doesnt have the records. I asked her why didnt you ask me for them a month ago when you made the appointment.

They act real young here when my insurance company pays you 240 a visit but you cant even add external records to a chart.

This is dank. I do not reccomend. Very unprofessional.

Needs HHS audit for civil rights violations.

People are nasty rude.

Grossly immature and incompetent.

And my attorneys did all the work without these people and my disability case was granted in full.

The doctor himself is excellent — knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely cares about patients. Unfortunately, the office staff significantly detracts from the experience.
Every year, I run into the same issue with prior authorizations for my medication. This year has been especially frustrating. It has now been over two months since the prescription was written, and the staff keeps telling me the medication is “not covered by insurance.” I personally contacted my insurance company, and they confirmed the medication is covered — the only thing missing is a properly submitted prior authorization from the office.
Despite multiple follow-ups, there is little urgency, accountability, or proactive communication from the staff. I’m left doing the back-and-forth between the office and insurance myself, which should not be the patient’s responsibility.
It’s unfortunate, because the doctor deserves better support. At this point, I’m seriously considering changing providers — not because of the doctor, but because the administrative experience has been consistently stressful and unreliable.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Amber Lee for the earliest available date and time. At no point during the scheduling process was I informed that she only conducts virtual appointments now. Had I known this upfront, I would not have booked the appointment.
I arrived 20 minutes early, understanding the usual process of filling out paperwork and verifying insurance, as someone with prior experience in the medical field. When I checked in, the receptionist, Dee, asked who my appointment was with. Upon telling her it was Dr. Amber Lee, she claimed she had left me a message informing me that the appointment would be virtual. I immediately knew this wasn’t true, as I had received no such message.
To be sure, I replayed the voicemail she left on speaker so she could hear it herself. As I expected, the message made no mention of the appointment being virtual.
I find it extremely unprofessional to be lied to, and it’s frustrating as a patient not to be informed of important details like the format of an appointment. Patients deserve transparency. If an appointment is going to be virtual, that needs to be clearly communicated when scheduling so that we can decide if that option works for us.

I waited over 6 months to get an appointment with Dr. Yun at Sunset Primary Care. I was excited to finally have a primary care doctor who listened to my concerns and actually ordered the labs I requested. Unfortunately, I was recently informed (without any prior notice) that Dr. Yun no longer works at the clinic and my follow up appointment was canceled.

No one reached out to reschedule or explain what was going on. When I finally got rescheduled I was seen by a different doctor who had no idea why I was there. The new doctor asked, “So how can I help you today?” I had to explain that it was a follow up for lab work Dr. Yun had ordered. He should know that, aren’t there notes in my file?

Now I’m left confused and unsure if I’ll have to wait another 6 months just to establish care with a new PCP. Really disappointed in the lack of communication and continuity of care.

I've been a patient for several years, and Dr. T is awesome! He is kind and understanding and lets me ask questions to come up with solutions. The staff is nice and always willing to answer questions and refill medication. The office also does blood draws, so if you need it checked, just come fasting and will get it done with your appointment. Clean office and great SW location that is near the freeway and has lots of parking. Never a long wait, either!

I had terrible experience there with Dr Katherine and her staff
These people are disorganized and very messy. They don’t realize that they are representing The office for someone else. They make you feel very uncomfortable. I have a history of gout and asked her to be added to my blood work and it wasn't I had to go again to do it because she forgot to add it , I had to do surgery , left her in the office the nessissity letter to do never happened, called 3 times , every time they promise they will send it nothing happened .
I don't recommend this doctor or the office.
And I did email Nicole she said she will get back to me and she didn't, and also I talked to Zquria she said she will get back to me and never happened
And they have the rudedesset one in the office name is Ana called from blue diamond office so rude the way she talk and handle things and said she won't send the Necessity letter refused to say why
human beings should never be treated like trash.
I will never recommend anyone to this practice.

After calling around 20 different provider’s offices, I came across Katherine Tinajero and was able to get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. I think the universe intervened for me to get an appointment with her. Most pleasant doctor appointment I have ever had, hands down. The entire staff is extremely friendly and so helpful. I have never felt so heard by a provider. Katherine listened to all of concerns and never made me feel like my concerns weren’t valid. I thought I would potentially have to cancel my health insurance soon and she went above and beyond giving me resources for my prescriptions and trying to get me in with doctors she was referring me to before I would no longer have health insurance. Honestly, I can’t say enough good about Katherine and her staff. 10/10 recommend, if you’re looking for a new provider Katherine Tinajero is the best.

My visit to Dr. Mehdi Shamloo's office on May 5, 2022 was extremely satisfactory as were my previous visits. There is never a wait time for my schedule. Dr. Shamloo was very professional, attentive to my needs, and friendly, as was all the staff in his office. Insurance changed and I needed to locate a new primary care MD. After months of trying to get into see a MD only to be told they are not excepting new patients. I finally find Intermountain Healthcare, which was accepting new patients. It's a 20 drive from my house, but so happy I made this choice. I like this clinic and I liked the doctor I use to have but the new doctor on staff replaced mine and we clearly don't mesh. He barely spent ten minutes with me and looked me in the eye once. He did not seem as if he was interested in anything I had to say. I felt like a number. The nurse asks you why you came in you give her your reasons and she notates it but obviously the doctor doesn't bother to read the notes so you have to repeat yourself, and now you may forget to mention something so it does not get addressed. All in all I am now looking for a new doctor. Yeah me.

I recently found myself in need of a new primary care physician when my doctor sold her practice with little notice. After doing quite a bit of research, I found Intermountain Healthcare.

My first visit was very positive. Everyone from the person at the front desk to the nurses and the physician were polite, professional, and knowledgable. My visit wasn't rushed, and I felt like they really listened and cared about me as a person not just a patient.

I needed to get a prescription for a new glucose meter, and my message via the patient portal was read and answered and my prescription was sent to my insurance in one afternoon. It would have taken my old doctor 3 or 4 days to take care of it.

We've been referred by a friend who gave outstanding reviews and still had our doubts.. this is Vegas!!!! Right!!! Well to our dismay we were surprised to receive prob the best 👌🏼 caring, professional, intellectual cultural minded group of staff We've seen thus far. I though WE had questions but for every question we had Dr Shamloo had 2more. We had an actual conversation about our health. It was almost mind blowing!! 🤯. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful until you meet with the doctor. It could be specifically Dr. Shamloo having terrible bedside manner but I will be finding a different primary doctor. Prior to being seen by the doctor, I heard a faint conversation next door that sounded friendly and knowledgeable. Not sure what was discussed but the tone sounded friendly. So, I am sure it may just be who I seen.

Ultimately, I came in for fatigue, naesea and abdominal pain. I was advised that I can be referred out to a stomach doctor for my nausea. This leads me to believe that he wasn't listening. What about the fatigue? What about the abdominal pain? Also asked for new nausea medication twice since the one I have causes migraines. Still no prescription. I feel that if I had the doctor next door, whoever that was, my experience would have improved. Was just a number versus a person with, still, an unknown issue.

Best PCP office I have been too in LV. They were able to take in 48 hours from my calling them. They take private pay, and were very courteous and patient me as I currently can't speak well because I've my voice to due to covid pneumonia. Dr. Shamloo was awesome and took this time with me. He didn't rush, and made sure that he understood everything that happened with me while I was infected with covid, my three week hospital stay, and even prescribed a new med that really does help with the coughing and sore throat when I asked. Most Dr's NEVER do that. At least, not the ones here. I also like that they're located in a medical office by a hospital, so I know they won't randomly close their doors the way Dignity Health did.

I called because I wanted to see if any providers in that specific location were taking new patients. Turns out my insurance is not accepted because they are not affiliated with other locations even though I told her I’ve been to other intermountain locations before. The representative wasn’t the friendliest. She could have asked more questions instead she just said we don’t take that insurance and said she could give me the number to the other intermountain locations which did not make sense(their website states my insurance is accepted) I had also opted in for the survey in the beginning for when the call ends, instead of being transferred there was a pause as if she was waiting for me to hang up so instead she did it. I ended up calling another location myself and turns out it’s closer and they do take my insurance! That representative was much friendlier and did his best to try and assist me. I was surprised because this location has very good reviews, maybe it just wasn’t her day.

Good visit in the office 10-06-20 but Referral Dept erred. Told them to use a particular physical therapy office and they got approval for another company. Not good to lose a few days when you are ready to get physical therapy. Me and wife have had TERRIBLE service with them removing old insurance. Have asked them numerous times over last 9 months. They do not remove it and then send for approvals using them. Maybe this time will fix for good.

I called an asked to be seen. I lost my insurance so I needed to pay cash. I came in had a discussion with the physician assistant. I think they were accommodating. However, I am concerned about my 'exam'. I am a diabetic and unfortunately I question the exam protocol I received. As we know diabetes-focused examination proticol includes vital signs, funduscopic examination, limited vascular and neurologic examinations, and a foot assessment. I know I still must get my labs completed but I wish the exam was a little more complete.

My primary care doctor Lesliet Echols is always professional, friendly, and helpful. My experience at this particular Healthcare Partners (now Intermountain Healthcare) is always good, though mixed feelings about previous experiences at other Healthcare Partners offices.

Can't say enough positive things about Dr.Shamlooand the entire staff. Was especially relieved that blood work was done in office by very professional staff. I was very comfortable in speaking to Dr. Shamloo and felt heard and was responded to with a professional yet caring manner.

Extremely knowledgeable staff, who actually care for their patients. No I’m-needed test performed. Actually day down and talked with me about my concerns and how I actually felt. Professional attitudes and saw patients with a smile when they left. Unheard of with any other medical facility.

I went down to get my results on Friday. Everything went well, then I start getting flooded with emails and text messages wanting me to rates them. I thought a gave a great initial review, now I’m got 4 other emails regarding the service. This is where your customer start to give less than positive reviews. Fix you review services.

I had my first experience with a telemedicine appointment with Dr. Leslie Echols to go over test results. Very convenient and saves you from being exposed to Covid-19. Perfect for issues that don't require an in-person visit. Dr. Echols is very personable and interested and caring about your issues.

Dr Shamloo was so nice and attentive to detail. Most doctors are so busy running from room to room. He addressed that I needed to have some screenings done due to my age, where my PA for the last 2 years never said anything at all . 5 stars for Dr Shamloo and his assistant !!

I was extremely satisfied on my visit great staff and the doctor was awesome I'm really glad that this is my primary care doctor awesome treatment awesome staff if you are looking for a really great primary care doctor then this is the place to go they helped me with my condition extremely well when no one else(even the ER couldn't) couldn't find what was wrong health care found out they listened to me and gave me the right meds and now I feel so much better thank you so much. I love this office and everyone I come in contact with from the receptionist to the nurse to the PA and doctor. If you are looking for a family practice I definitely recommend them. I have been attending this location for 3 and a half years. Zero complaints.

I've really had a run of bad luck since I moved here in March, but finding Healthcare Partners and Dr Shamloo has been my only winning hand. Each and everytime the team is in step, and Dr Shamloo is incredibly patient with me, quite insightful and even downright funny. And while the Vegas heat is sending me back to the California coast, I'll truly miss my team at Healthcare Partners Nevada!
