Dr. Lao and her staff go beyond the expectations of my imagination. She is a true partner in my wholeness journey. The CenterWell facility that she practices out of is a safe haven in the dark nightmare that is healthcare in Nevada. I was resigned to the fact that I did not have much time left to enjoy this world. My health was mimicking that of my Father. There were too many negative issues and factors against me. Dr. Lao has changed everything. My health is improving daily because of her direct impact on my life. I was blessed on the first day that I walked through the doors of her office.

CENTERWELL These people billed me for Medicare Annual Wellness Visit which is supposed to be free because Medicare covers it 100%. Either they are not capable of billing Medicare properly or they just wanted to score(!) a few extra dollars. Or both, who knows?
When I called the phone number on the bill, I ended up talking to a "wall." When I asked to speak to a supervisor, he hung up! I wonder if this is what he was instructed to do.
I paid the bogus CenterWell bill and about two weeks later they sent me the same bill again. I was not surprised. I will not be surprised if they send me the same bill in six months.
This is how I would rate the people at this particular office (Blue Diamond). I saw two providers. On a scale of 1 to 5, I would rate one 1/5 and the other 2/5. Some of the personnel behind the desk and some answering the phones get 0/5 (!)

These people are the most unprofessional so-called humans I have ever met. They lack empathy and sympathy for their clients and will drop them because they don’t know how to build the insurance company right. They dropped my mom in the middle of the month without any written notice and care that she is an insulin patient and needs help. All they care about is their insurance Without giving a warning to the client in writing per the laws of Medicare. I have put in a formal request for this office to be investigated. For their doctors to be investigated. And I am warning everybody that decides to waste their time by visiting them.
They’re Extremely unprofessional, rude, and have no empathy for other humans and should not be in this field of work
Shame on you, Center Well, you will be investigated and shut down. You will all be out of business

Injured my foot on Saturday, had to wait until Monday to even get an appointment. Got lucky and got in to see the Dr. on Tuesday. She put in an URGENT request for x-ray to the radiologist of their choice. Today is Friday. The radiologist still has not received an order for x-ray. I called. Centerwell says they sent it on Thursday.....Four days to fax over an urgent order. Since when is 4 days URGENT? Still in pain with no x-ray even scheduled.

I’m giving this review a two only because the front desk crew are remarkable, otherwise it would be a zero if I could. First off they change doctors frequently and each dr is worse than the one before. And Dr Lau I’m not sure where she got her medical license from because she doesn’t seem to know anything and contradicts herself in the same visit. She doesn’t listen and tells me I wrong on some symptoms. Second the referral department is a nightmare I’ve been trying to get a referral to a pulmonologist because of my lung since March 1 and it’s now April 14th. They either refer me to dr’s on my insurance list or to Dr’s not anywhere near me or they refer me to Dr’s where I have to take a elevator and I can’t take elevators and I have stressed that to them many times. I’m giving up and ready to move. One last thing I made a review last week on one of your ads and you said someone would call and that was last Monday.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Garcia on February 28. I was welcomed by the front staff as soon as I came in. They were all very friendly and very helpful. Dr. Garcia was more than gracious with giving me the time I needed for the appointment and answering all my questions. I feel like I found the perfect fit for my health concerns. Stephanie, Monique, and Vernonie work in the front where they greet each patient in a friendly and upbeat manner. I always feel welcome, appreciated, and cared for.
Everyone takes the time to listen and promptly attend to my needs. Communication is great. After each visit, I receive a printed summary of what was discussed. Then, as appropriate, text communication regarding follow up action items.

When I moved to Las Vegas I went to a number of healthcare providers trying to find the right fit for me. After seeing a sign advertising a new Centerwell Senior Primary Care clinic near my home, I made an appointment with them and I’m so glad I did. The kindness of the staff members makes me feel welcome there. (Dr. Lao, Azul, Monique, Stephanie and Vernonie.) When I call they are prompt to answer the phone, my appointments have been on time, referrals are done in a timely manner and I like the convenience of having the blood for my tests being drawn on site. As a retired nurse I’m probably more critical of healthcare providers, front desk staff and the facility itself than other people and this place is A+!

After 3 total visits to CenterWell on Blue Diamond I am thrilled to have made the change in primary care. Dr. Garcia has excellent listening skills, superior knowledge, plus it's obvious she genuinely cares. The staff is nothing short of first-class! Whether it is Monique checking you in, Ashley taking you back, or Noni checking you out, their interactions are upbeat and they care about their work, and patients. The moment we (my husband and I)walked in we were made to feel at ease.

We’ve been coming to Centerwell BlueDiamond for over a year now. LOVE PA Whitley, love the kindness and atmosphere of staff and being greeted by name every time we come thru the door. And Monique and Stephanie are wonderful in assuring we get the time, attention, and care we need. If there’s a problem with a referral, an appt, refill, you name it, they step up and makes us feel like we are the only Patients that come there.
And I watch them do the same things for everyone that comes thru the door!!

I couldn’t love this medical office more. From the doctors to the medical assistants and front reception, the entire staff is amazing. They are dedicated to their patients and take time with each patient to ensure that they receive the very best care. I was so fortunate to find Centerwell as I am new to Vegas.
I was so please that I advised my husband to receive his medical there as well.. and he too can’t believe how well they provide care to their patients. This is the best and most personalized care threat we have ever received from a medical office.
They specialize in care for seniors and make sure to take their time with each patient so that every medical concern is addressed. I couldn’t love my doctor’s office more!!

PATIENTS BEWARE:

I am utterly disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience at CenterWell Care. The level of incompetence and lack of communication is beyond anything I have encountered in the healthcare system. My father, who recently suffered a back injury, went to CenterWell to renew his prescription for pain medication. We were assured that the prescription had been sent to a local pharmacy, located less than a mile away from the clinic. However, this has turned into a nightmarish loop of miscommunications and unfulfilled promises.

For the past five days, we have been caught in a frustrating back-and-forth between multiple pharmacies and CenterWell. Each visit or call to the clinic ends with the same, seemingly reassuring message that the prescription was sent to the pharmacy or that a doctor would promptly call us back to resolve the issue. Conversely, every inquiry with the pharmacies ends with the same response: they have received no communication or prescription from CenterWell.

It is now day five, and my father is still without his necessary pain medication. The lack of urgency or concern for a patient's well-being displayed by CenterWell is appalling. Not once have we received a call back, despite repeated assurances. The stress and pain my father is enduring due to this negligence are inexcusable.

I am sharing our story as a warning to others who might consider using CenterWell for their healthcare needs. The lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic communication skills at this facility is alarming. Patients deserve better, and I urge anyone in need of medical care to seek services elsewhere.

My parents started receiving care from Centerwell since they opened recently. While there were some minor bumps here and there which is expected of any facility that’s grand opening, they provide an overall great service. We’ve been very pleased with both the medical team as well as the front office (which is unusual in Vegas). Dr Hui and staff are very professional and caring. I’ve been coordinating healthcare for my elderly parents for years and this place takes the time and do it right for seniors. I hope they keep up the good work as my parents love it and they won’t go anywhere else.

I called Centerwell Blue Diamond twice on January 4, 2023 regarding an ongoing issue with an ear infection. I was advised that Dr Hui's assistant would call me back. It is now 2pm on January 5, and I have not received a call back. I've gone to Urgent Care where they confirmed that I do still have an ear infection and prescribed more antibiotics. I'm very disappointed in the Centerwell service.
