In my latest Telehealth session, I met with Rebecca, a new psychiatrist at Enlightenment, LLC, as it seems Dr. Mark Gomez is expanding his practice now that he's moved into his own office. Dr. Gomez was present, but not on camera.

I really liked Dr. Rebecca. She is super nice, asked very good questions to assess my current mental health state, and offered some suggestions in response to my answers to her questions. I felt it was a very productive session.

If you have ADHD, I cannot recommend Dr. Mark Gomez and his newest psychiatrist, Dr. Rebecca, highly enough. I feel that I am getting quality care, advice, and knowledge to help me manage my ADHD better.

I had a very difficult experience with this office. Communication was a serious challenge, especially with the front desk—language barriers made it hard to explain my concerns or get clear answers. The provider charged for nearly everything, even simple requests, which felt excessive.

At times, he seemed visibly agitated during appointments, which made it hard to feel safe or comfortable discussing my issues. His billing department also overcharged me more than once and constantly messed things up, creating unnecessary stress.

I was left without medication refills despite being a long-term patient, and I felt my care was secondary to money. I’m also concerned that false information may have been added to my chart, based on things said by a family member I’m not in contact with. Someone who went overboard and lied about my health which is dangerous knowing doctors have control over your medical chart ( this is something that family manager who I cut out of my life does not know )

I truly don’t understand how this provider has so many positive reviews—I can’t imagine I’m the only one who had an experience like this. It wasn’t just one issue—it was many, and I wouldn’t recommend this provider based on how I was treated. He makes you feel seen at first, and slowly he will start to pull back after you deem him as a good provider. I wish the best for Mark however his office as a whole and the way things are ran is not typical for a 5 star practice. I was going to do 1 star however I will add one more totaling 2 stars since he did help for a small bit.

I like the atmosphere of the office while I'm waiting for my appointment, as an 11 year old boy, I get bored pretty easily and I can always find random things laying around to play with. I like Mark because he's not like the typical "Tell me about your problems and feelings" type of therapist. It's more like talking to a friend that you've known for years. That makes it easy to confide in him.

So far, I’ve had nothing but great experiences here! Mark took his time to thoroughly research and properly diagnose me, and he provides a very chill and positive environment free from any judgement. One thing I really like is that he advises to take certain supplements before prescribing meds (or along with them), which is super great especially considering the last place I went seemed to be trying to just push pills at me. He takes a holistic approach to therapy as well and has provided me with advice that is very much tailored to my interests and give productive and meaningful feedback and and homework. Again I cannot express enough the amazing experience I’ve had here so far. It honestly just feels great to have found someone who genuinely cares about my wellbeing. Another great thing is how reachable he is! Any time I emailed questions regarding medications or therapy, I usually got responses within minutes. I realize I’m setting a high bar with this review, but I genuinely feel that he reaches (and exceeds) that bar.
