I switched to Dr Hailstone as my GP about a year ago. I got tired of 10 minute appointments from my previous GP who, to no fault of his but the system he was in, wasn't really able to problem solve or take care of my health but just treated symptoms. Dr. Hailstone and his entire staff are very attentive and forward thinking. He takes care of all my needs and only refers out to specialists in extreme cases. While under the care of my previous GP, I was seeing six different specialists. Little of the Care was coordinated and I was wasting so much time running from doctor's office to doctor's office having to pay each of their co-pays AND many of my health issues were never really getting resolved.

Wouldn’t recommend his nurse practitioner. 1st she told me I had a ruptured eardrum and requested I do a sinus CT scan. When I went to a ENT doctor I had just had an ear infection and antibiotics cleared it up. Then next appointment, I was requesting help with my weight/thyroid issues and she laughed out loud at me. I would never go back to a doctor that laughed at me or recommend them.

Dr. Hailstone and his staff are phenomenal. I’ve been seeing him for nearly 12 years and I have never had a doctor as empathetic or as dedicated to his patients as Dr. Hailstone. He will make sure you thoroughly understand everything before leaving and it is very hard to find a doctor who is like this. His front desk is very kind. I had heard great things about Dr. Hailstone but never got to see him. I also really liked having a doctor with a lab at his office and the Lab Tech is awesome.
The doctor I met just made me feel like a number and she was trying to just get me out. I did not have the chance to explain all my health concerns, besides my primary issue.
I was having issues with my prescription side effects and needed to contact the doctor, since I operate a truck for work. I called the staff and was informed I would be contacted the same day. It was not until after 1 PM, the next day, that I was contacted to scheudle another appointment.
Most of the staff are really nice and pleasant, but I am just disappointed with the few people who actually had to take care of me.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Hailstone Family Practice! From "Doc" to the front office staff; from the many available services offered to the clean and welcoming rooms! All delightful, knowledgeable, and efficient. Dr Hailstone is on top of his game, and he's super patient with his patients (hahaha, l just had to) and explains everything clearly, concisely and in layman's terms.

He had me hooked, the first time l went to him with Bronchitis and he drew a picture of lungs and bronchial tubes. He then filled them in with ink (now dead tissue) showing Bronchitis and explained dead internal tissue doesn't leave the body, new healthy tissue must grow over it, burying the dead to be cured of Bronchitis. It could take months, but now it all made sense -- you can't pick at a scab on the inside, eh?

He also explained how breathing properly as we age is so important and gave me the name of a well known breathing specialist... l won't give it all away.

Call Jackie! Meet Jenn. Actually anyone through those doors will take care of you like it's their own personal business!! And, you can even get your blood drawn during the same visit. I promise you will not be disappointed. Go see Hailstone!

PS. this is important to note, because the office moved from the eest to the east side of town and l wasn't interested in driving to the east, especially for just an ordinary doctor. But for this crew? I'd drive to Pahrump not to lose them as our family medical group!

I love Dr. Hailstone! I have been going to Dr. Hailstone for over 5 years and he is Awesome! He always takes his time with me as a patient he explains things clearly and addresses your needs. And the best thing he did was get his own practice! The only complaint I ever had in the past was his staff, and trying to get a hold of anyone! But now that he has went on his own, this is no longer an issue! The new office is bigger, better and nicer! And the staff is nice, organized and helpful!

Dr. Hailstone called me five weeks ago to cancel my appointment with my PCP, saying she was no longer contracted with my insurance provider but that they were “working on it.” He refilled my prescriptions and rescheduled the appointment for five weeks later.

Fast forward to today: I got a confirmation text the night before, filled out all the online paperwork, and showed up for my appointment—only to be told they don’t take my insurance and won’t be able to see me.

This is an appointment I’ve essentially had on the books for three months. I’ve been seeing this PCP for over a year. When I asked if I could still see her anyway, the woman at the desk—without a hint of irony—told me, “You don’t have an appointment. I canceled it.”

Yeah. She literally just canceled it. While I was standing there.

To their credit, another (less snarky) staff member offered to let me see my PCP—but said she wouldn’t be able to provide a referral or refills. Which is funny, because Dr. Hailstone’s name is literally on my current refills. So yes—he can do refills.

But the whole reason I came in was for a referral for my annual cystoscope—to check if my cancer’s back—and to get those refills. Instead, they strung me along for three months, only to dump me right back at square one. Now I have to start over with a new PCP.

I give Deokchol Parish five stars. It’s just a shame she’s now at Hailstone. P3 staff was much better.

I am a loyal patient of Dr. Hailstone’s. While the new office is farther from me, I wouldn’t even consider changing doctors. Dr. Hailstone is that rare breed of physicians who takes the time to listen and inform. I never feel rushed at my appointments and I get complete care. The office staff and his nurse are so responsive to phone calls, texts, etc. I feel this has vastly improved in his new practice because they are able to run things their way.
