I would never come here again .went in today for a full price , but half ass cleaning by the assistant???? Like what? . I have been dental assistant before for more 8 years , I never used a cavitron machine to clean patients teeth unless certified to do so . That's the doctor's and hygienist job . And I paid cash !!!! I also recently got lots of work done here and spend lots of money .

Suddenly I had a very loose tooth and asked the front desk at Healthy Smiles if I mite be able to see the doctor as a urgent walk in... The receptionist stared at me for about 20 seconds and then said no nothing available until 13 daysfrom now.

I replied so the doctor doesn't see people on an urgent basis?

She says to me, "it doesn't matter" I'm telling you my schedule tells me he's booked for 13 days.

I asked her if there's any chance she could tell the doctor my situation?

She replied he's busy with another patient. I replied No problem I'll wait.

She then told me "I know the doctor and he won't see you without an appointment, the next appointment opening is in 13 days"

Normally I would just walk away, but she was very smug and rude with her demeanor and tone.

I left my phone number to have the doctor call me...

Receptionist told me, "more than likely he's not going to call you"

I replied "can you please give him my number"

She shrugged her head then let out a deep breath of air and said "like I said, he's more than likely not going to call you but I'll give it to him anyways, I'm not making any promises" as she rolls her eyes at me.

Within 3 minutes after leaving the doctor called me with an extremely rude voice and attitude and he says "what do you want! I'm here calling you" I started to tell him what happened, and he interrupted me and said "what is it that you want" again in a extremely stern rude voice. I said "never mind" and hung up.

This is no way to treat anyone who's physically hurting.

I do not recommend this place!

Dr Barbosa has been my dentist for over 10 years and I won't go anywhere else. He is understanding and keeps me up to date on what is necessary, and not necessarily recommended.

I scheduled an appointment for a simple bonding. After mounds of paper work Dr Barbosa tried to bamboozle me with barbiturates which is not needed for this procedure. When I refused the anesthesia and asked for billing readjustment I was rebuked. I left. He should have just said he didn’t know how to do it. Not try to pad the bill.

Awesome dentist!! Comfort me when I have a fear of the dentist! AWESOME UPDATE, 2nd visit as I have a fear, well use to have fear of the dentist, for a very bad tooth infection and then had an extraction a few days after antibiotics (love the extra safety Barbosa and his staff goes). This second extraction was freakin cool because I was scared like a big baby lol and Barbosa and his staff are so calm, pleasant, and gentle as can be!!!! I love them. I can’t wait to get my permanent bridge work done which I look forward too! Thank you Dr. Barbosa and your staff for being there for me and the love you guys always show. Dr. Rudy is a great dentist. He has performed multiple root canals on me and made me feel very easy. Hes soft with his tools and a nice guy to talk with. I highly recommend him!!

I normally do not write reviews, but with the great experience I had at Dr. Barbosa’s office I had too. I would recommend them to anyone. Walking in this office it feels like home and you are treated like family. They take an experience that is usually not that pleasurable and make it great! Dr Barbosa is the third dentist I’ve had since moving to Las Vegas in 2008. He’s by far the best I’ve had. It’s not often you have a dentist who personally attends to you your whole visit.

The office looks clean and high end, the receptionist is very friendly, first time visit and everything went smoothly and I had no wait at all. Filled out paperwork and was taken back, Rodolfo is very friendly and thorough. The prices sound good and I didn't feel pressured or tricked. Going back in one week for more work
