I’m so upset. I have been trying to find a new primary care doctor in my area with good reviews. I made an appointment with Dr. Anwar a MONTH in advance as a new patient so I can establish care and start getting seen there. I waited and waited until my appointment today 10/29, at 7 am they called me and said they had to cancel me because he is not accepting new patients. They never mentioned any of this when I scheduled last month. And it’s so crazy because my husband was seen 2 weeks ago as a new patient and he said he liked the doctor, so I was pretty excited to actually find someone good. This is highly upsetting and super frustrating because I needed a doctor nearby that can refill my asthma inhaler. Just a waste of time, when I could’ve been finding a new doctor this whole time.

I love this office! Dr Anwar listens to his patients and is very caring, his nurses Shelah is also very caring, kind and she goes out of her way to help everyone. The front office staff is super helpful, always so friendly and kind. Dr. Anwar and all of his staff are the best! I am so blessed to have them all as my care team…they are definitely amazing! If I could give them a 100 stars, I most definitely would!!! 💯

As someone who actively manages my health and serves as my own advocate, I was disappointed by the generalized recommendation to simply "listen to your body" when I inquired about resuming my vitamin regimen, fitness routine, and recovery plan following a confirmed diagnosis of salmonella, rotavirus, and H. pylori. While that advice may work for some, it can come across as vague, nonspecific, and lacking in clinical depth, especially when a patient is navigating multiple infections, medication reactions, and a return to baseline health.

In contrast, I used an AI health assistant that offered detailed, medically grounded insights on supplement timing, exercise intensity, gastrointestinal recovery phases, and red flags to monitor. This guidance was clear, staged, and actionable — something I believe could be valuable in any modern clinical practice.

I encourage the clinic to explore how AI tools can be integrated with physician care — not to replace but to enhance it. If physicians had access to these resources during appointments, they could use them to validate recommendations, explore options, or better tailor advice. It may also help restore trust and improve patient outcomes by promoting shared decision-making.

Everyone is very, very nice there. They all go out of their way to make sure you’re being taken care of comfortably. I would recommend y’all to anyone. The only thing is when somebody calls in. I wish they could call y’all instead of having to go through your answering service because they’re nice too, but it ain’t. Dr. Spencer and his entire staff have been and are always world class. Finding the best healthcare providers should be at the top of everyone's list, but that task can be complicated.
