The staff was friendly and professional. Dr. Estrada was concerned about my health with further follow up testing and appointments. I felt my questions were answered and I am looking forward to my next appointment. I checked in staff prior to leaving. They provided me with a welcome bag with some health accessories. I was completely surprised but I am satisfied and happy to be part of the CenterWell Senior Primary Care in North Las Vegas.

Center We’ll Senior Primary Care was a very Pleasant experience for me # 1 it all started with Maria a few months or so ago to book my first appointment here. She was so kind to me and had so much patience, answered all my questions. Such a kind soul 😘
All the girls at the desk were wonderful as well. Estrella, Sarah!!!
Fernando was the first guy I saw, very thorough in his note taking, good sense of humor too!!! Now on the Doctor handsome!!!
Doctor Estrada was also kind, patient, understanding and didn’t rush me off. He must be very smart to become a Doctor at such a young age!!! Very good bedside manner!!! Last but not least here was a woman so good at her job!!! Cristina!!! Now let me tell you I am a big baby when it comes to blood taking and vaccinations!!!
This woman knows her stuff!!! I didn’t feel a thing. Also has a great sense of humor 😂
The facility is spotless Clean!!!!

I recently relocated to NLV and began my new health journey with the Senior Wellness Center NLV. Each time I have gone for my wellness care, I am humbled by the professionalism, kindness, quality and focus for geriatric care by all staff members with each visit. From the moment you arrive or exit, María, Estrella, and Sarah at the reception desk convey a sense of warmth and compassion with every welcome. Fernando, Christina, and Lili,the Medical Assistants, whom assist with the preliminary procedures leading up to the physician’s visit. To my primary care physician, Gabriel Estrada - Sotomeyer who is the Captain of my wellness care ship. He proved to be as kind, empathetic, informed, thorough and generous with his time; a treat rarely seen or felt by patients in this overworked profession. All of whom are led by the Center's Administrator, who even was responsible for my blood draw. This is truly the Diamond of Health Care needed for the city's growing boomer population. I look forward to each and every visit!

I went to Centerwell Health clinic on Lake Mead. I will never go back there again. The nurse was sick. She kept sniffling and sniffling so I said are you sick? She says yes and I have a sore throat. I couldn’t understand her English, so she kept taking off her mask and when she would take off her mask, her nose was all red like she has been wiping it a lot. Covid is still going around. I told them what is she doing being here sick and one of the other nurse said well people have to work people also get sick days with pay. I told her I work too. I have a Childcare and I worked with Kids. I might have to shut my whole business down If I get sick. So I don’t appreciate coming to the doctor’s office where people are sick working as nurses. I saw Dr. Steven Michaels I thought he was good at first until I read my discharge instructions that said I have diabetes. He asked me if I have diabetes. I told him no, he put it in my chart anyway that I have Diabetes. That’s scary because people are still getting Covid. I feel like the Centerwell Health on Lake Mead is a danger to my health.

Not CenterWell, More Like CenterNotWell

Terrible experience! After five horrible months I had to move elsewhere. I first chose CenterWell NLV on Lake Mead Blvd at Civic Center because very close to my house. I went to the grand opening March 2024. I thought it was a great concept for seniors. I even changed health plans to join them the same day. I asked many questions to be sure it would be a good fit.

I was told I could have a PCP doctor due to my being a complex care patient. Due to complex care I hoped to have more time and care from my doctor and better coordinated services for my specialists, plus less headaches with the healthcare plan itself because things would be handled on the premises. I was told I could have after hours appointments. I was told they specifically checked and my personal specialists were listed as in-network. I was told they would help me get an insurance referral for a patient advocate to help with care issues. I was told they had social times each month for seniors to gather for bingo, crafts, chat. It sounded great! IT WAS NOT!

Issues? "Do you want the whole list or just the top ten tremendous issues I experienced in the first five months?"

(1) No PCP for five months because they all quit.

(2) Referrals flubbed several times before completed.

(3) Couldn't get refills for scripts due to no PCP.

(4) Took a virtual visit with Dispatch to get meds for a UTI.

(6) I'm offered another location until they can fill PCP positions. I refuse because my complex care requires time to educate a different doctor on every visit, which can cause abundant errors.

(7) Every month, they were promising the new PCPs will be there next month.

(8) June 17, I am scheduled for a phone appt with the director to follow up on continuing issues with no scripts due to no PCP. The call that never comes.

(9) August, I started an insulin pump and needed an increased amount of insulin to run it. This was a nightmare! I could not get them to understand the amount of insulin I needed for the prescription.

(10) Then prescription refills were sent to the wrong pharmacy, twice. I ended up with a virtual visit with a physician online to get my insulin refilled.

(11) They called last week, mid-Sept 2024, to say they have a doctor now and wanted to schedule me another first time appt, I politely refused and said, I'm with someone else now.

My advice - Healthcare can be life or death. CenterWell is a good concept, but not this location. Choose one of their 5-star locations and try that out. But I have yet to find out myself if the other locations are any better.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, MY MOTHER IS ALWAYS HAVING ISSUES WITH THIS PLACE. SHE ALWAYS END UP WITH HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AND A HEADACHE WHEN DEALING WITH THEM. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
