I love it here. They took good care of me from the time I arrived and during my procedure. I didn’t feel anything other than the anesthesia shot they gave me. It was quick and smooth. My appointment was at 9:30AM and I was out of there by 11AM.

When I called I gave the lady on the phone my husbands birthday she kept getting it wrong even though I repeated myself so many times then proceeded to give me attitude. They'll give you an appointment time of 11, you'll get there at a respectful 10:50 as most of us do for appointments, and then you will sit there until almost noon before you even get to the back. It takes 15 minutes to even get through the check-in process. The front crew really needs some work, bedside manner is just lagging on some staff here, kind to patient but not the caregivers who do everything for the patient. A bit nonsensical. Speaking of redundant, can someone explain to me why if someone is on diaylsis and visiting your kidney center for surgery why you would give them ham gor a sandwich? When they are on a strict salt free, and low phosphate diet? AND YOU GIVE THEM HAM!? That is literally offsetting them for recovery.. hmm??!

When you do get to the back (finally), you may be disappointed when you are sat in front of everyone for personal conversations - the doctors and nurses are far more attentive, kind and very knowledgeable. BUT its inappropriate repeating my address out loud in front of patients and strangers.

Also, Patients that come in wearing oxygen, DO NOT HAVE the capacity to sit and wait at the times your clinic leisurely places upon them.

You may need initiate a job sensitivity course across the board. I praise a handful of nurses, and the doctor but man some you can tell just do not care, at all. That's unfortunate.

This is not the place to go for a dialysis fistula. My 93-year-old grandfather was there today they instructed him to be there at 7:30 AM for a 3 1/2 to 4 hour time block. He did not see a doctor until around 9:30 AM and was not done for the day until after 1 PM. The office staff des not clearly communicate, they do not care about your time or your well-being, and they should be ashamed of they way they operate. If I needed this procedure done, I would go anywhere except for this location.

The staff at Azura surgery center of Las Vegas, are the most professional I have encountered in a long time. Jeribat the front desk was so kind and she was fast and efficient. The nurse who took care of me, (unfortunately I forgot her name), she was a young lady who took her time explaining everything to me. The nurses and PA’s who took care of me were very nice and professional. There were two issues with my name. Even on this email you have my last name as JR. My last name is Ellis. This problem prevented me from checking on line and to complete the forms in the office.
In addition, I had brought an up to date list of prescriptions for the nurses. None the less she kept naming drugs that I haven’t taken in over a month. She said they got the list from a 3rd party. This issue along with name made the processing in over 30 minutes. Like I said. Everyone was very nice and professional .

I've been to several surgical clinics in Las Vegas, but this is the worst I've ever seen. I checked in at 9:30 AM and waited until 3:30PM. I was so exhausted and thirsty that I gave up on the surgery and went home. If they were going to make me wait that long, shouldn't they have suggested a different appointment? The check-in was handled by Jeri, who was pleasant and efficient. My beginning vitals were taken by Jhoanna. She listened patiently to all of my concerns and was very caring and professional. I was helped into the operating room by Jesse, who watched my vitals and made sure I was comfortable. The team worked quickly to make sure that my access would work well with my dialysis. Dr. Sanghera takes such good care of me and remembers the little things about my access point and all the work he performed on me previously. Finally Kyle made sure during my post op that I was fed a snack as he maintained my vitals until it was safe to wheel me out to the lobby. Special thanks to Ricky for providing safe transport to and from the surgery center. This team is unmatched for care and dedication.

I have been trying to get into this center for a couple of weeks now and first i got scheduled for monday the 19th at 9:45am was still waiting at noon so i left, then they scheduled me next monday the 26th then they said the doctor wasnt in that day so i told them i couldnt be there wed the 28th due to other appointments, so schedule me for friday, they said i needed to talk to virginia. tried calling the office but kept going to an answering system, finally got through but virginia was at lunch all of a sudden i got a text to confirm my appointment for wednesday uugggg, so i called virginia and explained it again so she put me in the schedule for friday the 30th which is today for 5:45am. I showed up and waiting since 5am and at 5:45 no one showed up for work i even documented this with a video of me in front of the center to prove no one was there. All of you people i dealt with need to get fired for incompetence. I will repent, this is exactly why i dont like to go to this place. Azura Surgical Center SUCKS!!!!

There time management sucks, plan to spend all day there. And all they keep saying is im sorry. They charge and turn you away if your late. Why can't we start charging for the time they waste? My husband was scheduled for a procedure at 12:15 at 240 he had still just been sitting in the back. Of course his behavior was unruly and disruptive. There was just 1 other patient in the back at that time. They explained it away as things happened but at the very least they could've informed him thered be a long wait and offer the option of rescheduling. In the end he was asked to leave after his screaming and unruly behavior. They said we're calling the police as if people already dying would truly care or be afraid.... He ended up needing an ambulance and was rushed to the e.r. The whole event was ugly. I am simply writing this review for Cordell a nurse .... The only one who truly is for the people. He helped us all the way until the ambulance got there. We thanked him multiple times but thats not enough. He kept coming back to us and i eventually told him its ok to go back in because i didnt want him to risk his job being outside. This man deserves to get a raise and become a charge nurse somewhere and multiply to fill the field with his kind! I don't care how many degrees one may have or initials behind their name, without common sense none of it matters!
Common courtesy would have been to inform the waiting patients and offer options. Even if something is going on there are more than 2 people. Instead of standing outside the room chatting how about focus on the patients after all isn't that the reason one applies for a healthcare profession?
I cannot mention enough about Cordell and his people mannerisms. He is the perfect example of someone picking the right profession! He gets 100 stars

Since November I have had to have a surgery a month at least. I have had 5 procedures since Dec. 2023 and every time there has been an issue. Today was the last straw. I was scheduled for fistula placement today upon my arrival and check in at 6:45 am for a 7:15 am appointment I find out they have me scheduled for a different type of surgery. They had me down for an Ellipsys surgery with I told the tech doing my vein mapping I didn't want, I told the Ellipsys rep who was there the day of my mapping I didn't want the Ellipsys I wanted the old school normal fistula. I told my nurse I didn't want the Ellipsys either, yet I was scheduled for an Ellipsys today. No one ever called me to discuss the results of my vein mapping no discussion on placement their attitude is you will take what we give you! 2+2 always equals 5 there and they don't like when you ask questions about things that don't add up. Just so you know because Fresenius won't tell you, you have options with getting your catheters and fistulas placed you don't have to use their surgery center Azura which is owned by the Dr's.
