The worst medical practice in the state. I had pica which is an abnormal craving of tums. My Dr said, he and the resident in charge “googled it” and I should chew gum. Really. I researched and found I was extremely low on iron and had to have 5 infusions. Thank gosh I can “google” also. Then I bought a drug direct from them for weight loss, $360 I had to pay up front. When I received it they shorted me half the prescription, the pharmacy said they were confused when they wrote the RX. Then one time I called to get a refill, Diana, said I had a refill in March. I said no. She was under the understanding that the drug I asked for was the same as another drug. I had to prove to her they were in fact different and she could be causing great harm to people when she was not knowledgeable of the drugs. I tried to talk to Dr Milne the owner of the practice and was rudely informed he doesn’t take calls or messages. Just a few of the things that could have caused me great harm. Don’t get me started on the rude office manager. I reported this practice to the state for their total incompetence. Today I received a letter “firing” me from being a patient. I had already changed to another “real” Dr. instead of being professional and asking me my concerns they “fired” me. What a joke and I went to them for over five years and this all developed in the last year. Please take my comments as facts.

I have been going to this clinic since 2019. I love them. Making an appointment is easy, changing an appointment is easy. Return phone calls are prompt. This clinic does train residents, so you'll change physicians every 2-3 years. Only once have I requested to change physicians. Check-in is easy and prompt. Medication refills faxed by the pharmacy are promptly returned for filling. Every physician I've seen takes their time, realizing they have other patients to see. They readily answer any questions. I recently had surgery and was receiving home health. An issue arose with my blood pressure. The PT kept the office informed and the physician ordered medication, which lowered my blood pressure. The office manager, Sam, is amazing! I would recommend this practice.

She took the blood. I’ve never had so easy thumbs up. Just wanted to mention very convenient instead of going to quest. They have an in-house lab that can draw your blood.

12/11/24 *update* .. I called and spoke to someone else and made an appointment assuming this place has a call center out of office and the location isn’t to blame… that isn’t the case. The people making the appointments are the ones you will see in the office. They are rude. Told me to arrive 7:45am just for me to rush and get here and them to not be here til 8am.. Telling me about a copay that I owe which wasn’t told to me prior to arriving? $20 paid not a problem moving on. The front desk ladie with cute nails go to tell me how I should know my insurance and I should already know these things and that her computer isn’t still on. “I just got here” .. like I’m aware you just got here? I been in your lobby alone for 15mins.. after all that they then tell me my appointment is at 8:30am I then ask why would yall tell me to arrive 7:45am?? The lady then tells me my appointment will be moved to 8am. (I’m confused cause that’s what I thought it was the whole time) .. the front desk is rude terrible!!!!
I made it past them. Met the medical assistant by the team I got to her I was just quiet and annoyed. She was very nice and didn’t let my attitude ruin her morning. I appreciate her not taking any offense. She sat me in the room and I met the Doctor and he brought in a Student. Never asked me if it was ok with me. I asked that she would leave. It was unexpected and I needed at least one person in the office FULL attention.
The student left the doctor stayed and the exam went fine. I did have to make some request for myself.
This place does not have a on site lab so you have to see them and then go to see so one else at another location a different day. I completely wasted my time. I regret coming here. I do not recommend!!

Attempt to make a new patient visit. Lynn answered the phone was very rude. Refusing to make me an appointment stating I need to call my insurance to get the member ID. When i have a medical card and all I have is an identification number. She refused to make me an appointment. I offered to bring in the card or send a picture she said no. She placed me on multiple holds I have no idea if she is new? But she isn’t very friendly. I was referred by a coworker with the same insurance. Her entire family goes there she told me good things about the doctor. I asked to speak with someone else she said it’s only her.

My new Dr I couldn't be happier with. He took so much time compared to where I'm from in Oregon where you get 10 minutes to get any time with your Dr. Before sent back out like a revolving door. Even a prescription sent over in Oregon could take three days.
My Dr. Takes my concerns as valid and with compassion. His listening skills and patience is refreshing. I'm a nervous chuckler and he was very positive as well as reassuring.
The front desk has been helpful with guiding me on getting my insurance info switched to Nevada from Oregon and at my first appointment a week later I was covered with a comfortably modest CO pay.
I didn't even need a referral through insurance to be connected with a trauma counselor for EMDR therapy and a fabulous psychiatrist that my DR knows. It's comforting having all my Doctors connected and appreciate eacother in practice through personal experience working with eachother. Very cool!
I am happy with my care and happy with my new PCP. This clinic really gets the ball rolling on complete care. I look forward to a year from now where better health should be apparent as long as I am a cooperative patient under the care I'm blessed to receive.

The woman who answered the phone must not like her job. I have diabetes and i dont know what to do. When i called this morning she rudely answered my questions. i dont take kindly to disrespect at all in no form or way.
I simply asked a question can i speak to the doctor that im assigned to and she rudly asks me if i have insurance.,How can you ask a question with question.
If this was my employee i would fire them on spot for bad service.i usually let things go like this but i feel like the service i just got was horrible disgusting and unprofessional

I've had a couple of good doctors here (as they rotate out), but since those doctors left it's been bad. Referrals aren't completed timely, lab requests aren't entered correctly, the MAs are difficult to reach and don't return messages/phone calls (even when they know time is of the essence), and the front office is generally just there to answer phones (customer service is real hit or miss). I hope Dr McKenzie sees this and does something about it.

The doctor who attended my father was so amazing the front desk & assistants are giving this place a bad name . Very rude, they dont care about peoples health at all & you will find yourself talking to a bunch of them who all seem to act the same and show no concern for peoples needs. My dad was just diagnosed with cancer he was in california at the time & just need a refferal letter to be seen at a hospital in california . They made him come down here to las vegas to be “seen” at that appointment all that was checked were his vitals and the doctor was more than happy to give us the refferal . The doctor bumped up my dads blood pressurre medicine . This was a friday no prescription was sent over the weekend and its monday i called and now im being sent to peoples desk who never seem to be at their desk & “they will call back”
I havent had a good experience with anyone over the phone because even the manager dana was rude when i let her know my concern they cut you off mid sentence & dont care what people have to say . It’s a sad world we live in when people who work in the medical field have no compassion they dont teach you that in medical school. I wouldnt recommened this office to anyone.

I have booked 2 times now the first they did not call to confirm the 2nd I had a apt at 9:30 they called me yesterday to confirm In turn I did… today I come to my apt for them to tell me well u where suppose to be here 30 minutes earlier for new patient paperwork… she never told me that and I know because every call I have is recorded on my phone due to my job. I took off of work for nothing I didn’t get a sorry or anything just attitude and told I can wait a whole hour if I would like to see someone different… I was handed 3 papers 3!!! I had been coming to this Dr. close to 15 years and never had issues till 9/21/21, I have been through 3 interns, Dr. Kurtz, Dr.Suba Cohen, and Dr. Shein and I had never felt do unimportant, My 17 year and I had an appointment on this day, Me at 1pm and my daughter at 2pm, well we arrived 12:53pm and I filled out all forms rapidly in 5 minutes, well we wher taken back to get weighted and blood pressure taken but then we wher taken to room 17 together and wher left there till 2:30 without anyone even coming to let us know who was going to see us or why it was taking so long, I never felt do unappreciated. I think that if they cared for their patients they would of at least came in and updated us on when someone was coming in or see if we are ok or anything but no! nothing so I told my 17 year old to grB her bag and we left, I will seek a new PCP since we are not as cared for at Internal medicine specialist on Wellness way in NV.

Dr Liyanage is great, the person that does The referrals never does their job I have to continuously call and leave messages with no response usually have to make another appointment with the doctor to get the referrals to go through next time I will just have them give me paper copies of all my referrals. There's one very rude lady at the front desk I wish I would've gotten her name but the other front desk ladies are really nice. I give the Dr 5 stars, the referral person -0 stars, the front desk ladies 4.5 stars except the one rude lady.

I've had good experience with the Doctors. However, the person in charge of referrals and authorizations IS THE WORST. never does job or return calls. I've been trying for over a month to get continuing care referrals / auths for one of my specialist which I need to see. and since then there have been 2 more specialist i need these for as well and its been 2 weeks. I've called my insurance and nothing has been submitted from this office still.

Was thinking about my doctor and how great she is, so thought I'd write a review. I've had 2 other doctors with this place, and I didn't like them. So I simply asked for a different doctor and struck gold with my 3rd doctor, Dr. Young. She doesn't interrupt me, she's nonjudgemental, highly knowledgeable, patient, polite, smart, genuinely cares. Dr. Christopher Tonthat saved my father's life. My father had been having stomach pain for months. We had seen several doctors in the past who all chalked it up to acid reflux and only put him on antiacids. Well this kept up until we ended up in the Emergency room at Valley Hospital where we met Dr. Tonthat. He did an EKG and found a rare abnormality and quickly refered us to an interventional cardiologist. He personally called the cardiologist who saw us within minutes. It turns out my dad's stomach pain was actually several heart attacks and 3 of his heart's main arteries were 90% blocked. He has since had a triple bypass surgery and has not had anymore stomach pain. The cardiologist told us that if we had gone much longer, my dad would have likely died. The funny thing is that my dad has had several EKGs done in the past and we have been told that he had an abnormal EKG, but that it was not concerning. We are so thankful for Dr. Tonthat and all the staff involved with my father's care. Dr. Tonthat is now our family physician.

I'd rate 0 but not available. I have been admitted into valley hospital multiple times. Suffering from hyponatremia along with hypothyroidism & more. Their team of specialists stopped medications that can't be immediately stopped & had no inference with any treatment or tests. They never told me I had hyponatremia or hypothyroidism which left untreated for over a year except monthly hospital admits.
When I followed up with a Dr here after seeing history still did not start any treatment but said its okay if you want to google & order.. yes without any scripts. .Not cool. Hyponatremia is extremly dangerous & i could have dropped dead. I did come (1x is too many)close to many times.
When discharged many times with their team at hospital not once starting any treatments or scripts to begin & fu with Dr.
At first Dr in office said as primary only thing we do is refer you to others (IE: neuro etc)
The front desk girls were absurdly rude as office manager. My son had an appointment gu after cardiac arrest & he only had a copy of current id & they refused to allow his appt & marked him as no show while he stood there waiting to see Dr! ( what do they do with your ID? Make copy correct?)
Then said he can't reschedule bc he's had 2 no shows! I got upset they put no show down.. & prior one missed bc he was in hospital in coma.. & I Did Call to cancel spot. It was their team of drs who cared for him while in coma.
That wasn't acceptable & refused him to reschedule!

Furthermore, We were the only 2 ppl in waiting room ( not surprised! ) but while waiting listened as front desk girl outloud said each patient who was not there & marked them as no shows 1 after another. Hard to believe nobody cancelled & were all no shows & I believe it's against hippa laws to be speaking loudly enough for us in waiting room to hear each patients name & info.
Last, I asked how I can contact the Dr I had just seen ( bc I forgot something & 1 minute later after I leave room to front desk I'm told she's in a meeting). They said you can leave her a message. I wrote it (confidential) but they took it without putting in envelope or sealing.. I asked how to contact managers boss or owner & again.. Have me a note paper to leave message. I was leaving & turned & said this is when you read & toss my messages? & walked out..
