I had to receive stitches here due to a workplace injury. The treating physician Shehram Djafroodi PA-C did an excellent stitch job but, his bedside manners need some polishing. He was very rude and dismissive of my pain. He completely ignored me when I said the numbing injection he injected me with wore off and I could feel the stitches. I dont like needles and get very uncomfortable & anxious around them. I told him I needed a moment before he did the injection and his response was "stop fidgeting and to get over it". He gave me 15 stitches and sent me back to work with no restrictions ( im a security officer) and completely dismissed my concerns over returning to such a physical job with fresh stitches.

Concentra is the place for all work related injuries. This is my first experience here. The day of my injury I was there for hours did not like the wait time but is to expected in the afternoon. Receptionist are not friendly and welcoming. Doctors and assistants/tech who takes your weight etc. are awesome. I have no pictures.. TY

I choose this location because the staff is informative and extremely helpful and sensitive to patients. At least in my case. But most of all the Nurse Practitioner Elsa has an exceptional bedside manner. I feel so comfortable to be completely transparent in what I am experiencing and she seems to have the answers. I feel like she takes that extra mile to get to the root of the issues with what I am experiencing. I chose that shift because I prefer to be seen by Elsa. Thank you everyone at the Polaris location for being professional with an interpersonal approach.

I didn't want to go after they told me the wait was going to be at least four hours . But surprisingly I was seen right away for my vitals and then I was given a room to wait for my doctor . That's where the wait was long . Maybe 2 1/2 hours . But I had my phone and I slept for a spell. It was totally worth it . When the doctor popped in I thought wow this guy is young . Let me tell you he was the most personable and knowledgeable and caring doctor I ever had!! Him and his assistant nurse made a great team !! I went in cause a water truck hit my foot but prior to that I had plantars warts and infection setting in on both feet . He was concerned about that as well talked to me about it . Did not belittle me at all . He educated me on my condition. That meant alot . I left this place. Feeling like I was taken care of 100 perfect . I was very happy . Totally worth the wait !!!!

As a patient managing multiple chronic and complex conditions, I prioritize working with providers who demonstrate thorough knowledge of the latest evidence-based protocols.

From my initial consultation, Heather displayed a deep understanding of current treatment modalities. She conducted a detailed assessment of my medical history and symptoms, effectively developing a comprehensive treatment plan. Her prescribing decisions are guided by clinical evidence, ensuring I receive the most appropriate pharmacological therapies, often directly identifying optimal medications without unnecessary trial-and-error.

Beyond her clinical competence, Heather's bedside manner is exemplary-gentle, respectful, and patient-focused-creating a comfort zone conducive to open communication. She is also very welcoming and inclusive, creating an environment where all patients feel respected and valued, regardless of their identity—something that is especially important in today’s world.

Very disappointing experience at Concentra Urgent Care on the overnight shift on April 9, 2026 at approximately 11pm. I waited nearly 2 hours while multiple patients who arrived after me were seen and discharged within 30 minutes. I repeatedly asked politely how much longer, but felt overlooked and treated with condescending discrimination by the administrative nurse controlling check-ins. I was only called back once I showed frustration. No patient should feel disregarded or unequally treated while seeking care. And if the higher-ups pulled the camera footage, they will see how she watched me all night. I’m literally sitting in the parking lot writing this review at the time I was discharged.

Went in for a work injury and it was late, after 10 pm at least. Skeleton crew, and the room had about 20 people in it. Everyone I encountered was kind, patient, helpful and friendly!! I recently went in for a work physical. Been going to the same location for 11 years every year required to have a physical done. Front desk girl didn’t believe me when she asked if I have ever been seen by Concentra. She was very rude and not professional. My appointment was at 5 am I was called back at 5:35 am left at 6:30 am she lied on paperwork and said I was seen at 5:10 am and left at 6 am
I called her supervisor to complain that afternoon after work.

I was attacked by a dog at work 18 days ago. After an urgent care visit, multiple Dr visits and an ER visit I still have swelling and pain. I am now also having blood in my urine. I was discharged from Concentra today and the blood in my urine was not addressed. I asked for it to be. How a Dr lets a patient leave not knowing why is ridiculous. I have kidney issues and many other health issues and it was dismissed. I was told at urgent care that the blood in my urine may be from all the antibiotics I’ve been on since the attack. .Still the Concentra Dr didn’t care. I was told that the swelling/scar tissue may never go away and I’ll just have to deal with it. Every other visit was ok. But as soon as you question a Dr they really don’t seem to like it!

I had a good experience. I went Saturday 0715. It was not too busy, a few people were waiting. I was greeted, processed, then informed my total time was going to be 45 min. I waited about 20 min, had my blood drawn and was out the door before 0800. I like that this location is 24 hours. I received a Concentra email prior and filled out the forms electronically before I arrived which I’m sure expedited everything. I just showed the front desk the authorization number that was provided by my employer. The phlebotomist did great and offered me water.

I had a really great experience at Concentra Urgent Care and wanted to take a moment to leave a review because the staff truly made the visit much easier than I expected. From the moment I walked in, everything felt organized and professional, and the team was friendly and welcoming.

Catherine and Claudia in particular stood out during my visit. Both of them were incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. They took the time to answer my questions and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. It’s not always easy going into urgent care, but their positive attitude and professionalism made a big difference and helped take a lot of the stress out of the situation.

The clinic itself was clean, the process was efficient, and I didn’t feel rushed or ignored like you sometimes do at busy medical facilities. Everyone seemed to genuinely care about doing their job well and making patients feel taken care of.

Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend this location to anyone who needs urgent care. Huge thanks again to Catherine and Claudia for being so helpful and kind. It really does make a difference when staff go the extra mile for patients.

Went because of an injury at work. I was told it would be 2-2½ hours. It was right about that time. What upset me was I told them where to send my prescriptions. They chose a pharmacy across town. Waited 1 day for a text telling me it was ready and I never got one. Called and found out it was the wrong pharmacy. Moved over to the one closer to the house but they couldnt fill because it was at 2 locations. Was going out of town and couldnt wait. It took 2 days before I got prescriptions. ****Make sure you check what pharmacy the prescriptions are sent too****

Wait time to get to a room to wait for the doctor was quick, however I waited for an hour just to see a doctor. Doctor gave an excuse about being short handed and then sent to have an xray done. Xray was quick and efficient. Saw the doctor again for less than a minute. Doctors assistant finished out the process. In the almost 3 hours I was there I saw the doctor for less than 5 minutes all other aspects were handled by medical staff.

To whom it may concern. My wife Tristan Felender & myself were sent by our employer Walmart today to go to Concentra
For terrible pain in Tristan's hands and wrists. To our surprise, what happened next truly shocked both of us deeply.
(Dr Veronia Allen) walked in the room and immediately had a bad attitude in her voice, in her temperament and the way she carried herself.
It was obvious in the first two minutes that she was not able to listen to us, nor acknowledge anything we were saying when it came
to trying to explain how the pain all started. For example, when Tristan explained that the pain all started when Walmart switched her
to using the (scanner) 5 days a week, Dr Veronia Allen completely refuted that. Stating that it was impossible for the scanner to cause pain in Tristan's hands and wrists. I explained to Dr Veronia Allen that the scanner was heavy for women to use, and that in fact other women at work also had pain in their hands and wrists from using the scanner, but she told me I was wrong. I then asked Dr Allen if I could show her a picture of the scanner and she said yes. Tristan pulled up a picture of the exact scanner on Google that is used at Walmart and the Doctor Immediately said no, I mean IMMEDIATELY without even really looking at it. HER MIND WAS MADE UP BEFORE SHE EVER ENTERED THE ROOM What she was going to Diagnose Tristan with. Dr Allen then stated that Tristan's pain all started at home, not at work. HOW on earth could she Possibly know that? She was completely guessing and her tone of voice, I mean wow, her tone of voice is so rude, it was as if SHE WAS OUR ENEMY.
We shared with Dr Allen that the pain started immediately when Tristan was assigned to do scanning but she would not hear of it. Dr Allen refused to do XRAYS, or any other tests whatsoever on Tristan's hands and wrists, yet she felt confident enough to Diagnose Tristan that there was NO arthritis, no Carpal Tunnel, no damage whatsoever except a sprain. She did this with no tests and no analysis. I shared with the Doctor Veronica Allen that using the scanner 5 days a week for 8 hours a day is far too heavy for any woman to do, and that is when she got very upset and told me that I had to leave the room and go into the waiting room.
Dr Allen has NO caring, no compassion for her patients, she does not sympathize nor empathize with her patients and that is big big problem. Dr Allen told Tristan to do something that would hurt her wrists terribly, so I shared with Dr Allen that this is going to hurt too much, but she insisted that Tristan go ahead with this painful event. Then she told me to go to the waiting room to wait for my wife.
Dr Allen had no kindness in her, no professionalism, no courtesy nor anything else that we would expect from a medical doctor in the USA. What a very Uncomfortable experience it was at Concentra today, Dr Allen should seriously consider another career if she cannot show caring, professionalism, courtesy,
Expertise, compassion and empathy with the patients she treats
Even though my wife Tristan has been in terrible pain for over 1 month now, do you know what Dr Allen wrote on the medical document for Walmart? That Tristan was fully capable of going back to work full time to assume her normal duties. There is no way on Earth I will ever be able to understand this.

The staff and nurses were very kind and courteous; however, my overall experience was extremely disappointing.

At check-in, I was informed that the entire process—from arrival to completion—would take approximately two hours. I found this reasonable given that I was there for a PEME. I arrived at 8:45 a.m., but after checking in, I remained in the waiting room for three hours while multiple patients who arrived after me were called in ahead of me. It was not until someone at the front desk apologized and intervened that my testing finally began.

While the testing itself proceeded smoothly, two employer-required tests were overlooked. As a result, I was required to return a week later for additional blood work, further delaying submission of my PEME results.

The most concerning part of my experience was my interaction with the physician, Allen Swartz, DO. Upon entering the room, he immediately expressed frustration about having to complete both my employer’s physical paperwork and Concentra’s internal documentation. During the visit, he handled my paperwork carelessly, openly complained, and used inappropriate language. This behavior created uncertainty about whether my required documentation would be properly completed and left me feeling uncomfortable and undervalued as a patient.

I left my initial visit after five hours with incomplete paperwork, and I still had to return for an additional appointment the following week. Since then, I have made both a phone call and a follow-up email requesting that the physician-only sections be completed and returned to me. I have yet to receive a response.

In all my experiences with medical providers, I have never encountered this level of unprofessional conduct. I was later informed by staff that similar complaints about this physician are common, which raises serious concerns. I would strongly urge Concentra to address this issue, as it directly impacts patient care and the organization’s reputation.

The tone was set as soon as I entered for check in. I was the only person in line and no one acknowledged me. I understand being busy. A simple "we'll be right with you" will suffice especially since I'm standing with crutches. Finally I'm greeted with a "how can I help you" and no smile. I check in and sit to be called. After I'm called and after my vitals were taken I was instructed to wait back in the lobby since no rooms were available. The man that took my vitals walked out of the room and did not open the door for me to go into lobby. Because of my crutches it's very difficult to open the door so I asked a woman at the front desk "can someone open the door for me please". She literally rolled her eyes, said nothing and opened door. I said thank you and again she said nothing. Once in the room dr. Allen comes in asks how my foot and knees are doing. She does not look at them. Only walks back out to look at my X-rays, comes back in and tells me nothing is broken and wants me in a boot. A different man comes in with the wrong boot and wrong size. He tries to fit me in the boot with my splint still on. I have to tell him that the splint needs to come off first. He then removes my splint and proceeds to put me in the wrong boot with my toes hanging off by at least 2 inches insisting on that's how it's suppose to look. Dr. Allen peaks in and says "not that boot'. He then goes to get the correct boot and size and as he's fitting me into that boot dr. Allen returns to see what's taking so long because she wants to go to lunch but she wants to "check on my recheck before I go". She tells him "just make sure she can walk" and leaves. I hobble around the small space of the room and I'm sent on my way. No one gave me any at home instructions. No one asked me my pain level. And again I was left to my own devices to navigate my way through the doors to exit. A sweet patient in the lobby helped me with the doors to exit. Not sure why the team on that day was mean and inept at doing their jobs but they were completely different than the team I had on the day of my injury. That team was kind, caring and extremely helpful. You just never know what you're going to get when you enter this place. And the wait time is ridiculously long especially when you're in excruciating pain.

The nurses and front desk staff were great and very helpful during my visit. Unfortunately, my experience with the doctor, Jeromy Mendenhall, was very disappointing.

He had very poor bedside manner and was extremely rude and short when speaking with me about my health. When delivering medical information, a doctor should show professionalism and compassion, but that was not my experience.

Before I left, he told me he would provide additional information regarding my condition, but I never received it. This left me confused and without the guidance I was expecting.

I believe he should work on his communication with patients, especially when discussing health concerns. Patients deserve to be treated with respect and given clear information about their care.

I was told to come back for them to read my test too early. I came back when I was tild and then the test could not be used because the proper amount of time had not passed. I had to go back and get it redone. The bruise from last time is still there. This time when it was done, there wasnt any blood the way it normally bleeds, just a drop at the site. When i got in my car, however, the blood was dripping down my arm. I have been here many times before and never had a problem, so I hope this is a one time fluke. I also do not like that they do not open the needles in front of you so that you can be sure it is a new needle.

Concentra's physical therapy is great on the other side, where you see the doctor take a long time, even when they give you an appointment to see the doctor, and the only thing the doctor says is to keep going to therapy. You’re still gonna have to wait for at least two hours. This is my sixth visit to all of them; it’s at least two hours, and on one of those occasions, they even forgot to check me in when I went to ask why it was taking so long. The girl told me I’m sorry you’re not checked in, but I will check you in right now. I still waited for one more hour, and I went to cancel that appointment and make another one.

The Dr , the nurse are wonderful but the front office, I came brought C4 from employer then she said it’s expired but she did not explain it so her co worker pointed to the date on the bottom and explained that is expired, then I filled the form and gave it back to her. She did not mention anything about the phone, after waiting 1.5 hours she told me that I have not finished the registration thru the phone, i told her I didn’t remember she told me about it, she claimed she already told me I just not paying attention and she said “she sorry I was not hear she said that the registration Has to finish on the phone”.it was embarrassing, she forgot to mention to me because she just want me to fill the new C4 and I filled return and she did. Not said anything, I put my phone silence because it was Dr so I just being respectful but I did not agree with what she said it was so disappointing and embarrassing 😳

I went for a check up. I got there at 5:10pm waited 10 mins and went inside. I was called and into the back by 5:36pm. Everyone was very nice and I get it it was busy. I seen Dr and went to wait in the lobby by 6:10pm. I got a text at 6:40pm my ex was ready but still not called to check out which is fine. I seen there was alot of people. Then 7pm came and still was curious what was going on. And so I asked and I got told Dr was putting in notes just waiting for him to finish okay. 7:20pm comes i asked to use the phone (mine died and need to get my son situated) the lady was nice to let me use the phone and I guess she heard me say she didn’t forget me mom she said the Dr was putting in notes. And I said I know it says my prescription is done and plus mom they have been busy. She then asked for my ID and my paperwork was done! The only reason I’d give a 6 is cuz I couldn’t get my rx that night has pharmacy closed at 8pm and I live in Henderson but other that I highly recommend!!!!

Dr. Seemed to know his stuff. I was skeptical but so far per his instructions & diagnosis I am feeling much better.
They have on site physical therapy which has me doing stretches that also helps loosen up the muscle and ease the pain.

This particular visit was the worst.
The woman came in the exam room blurted out your images are clear we releasing you. She never introduced herself, ask how I was feeling. She went on to tell me that after my therapy I was done. I was only able to tell her that I completed the 6 therapy sessions. She didn't notice that my leg was swollen and heated. She said oh well we are done here, follow me out. That's it that's all. Meanwhile I'm still in pain all they ever did was give me pain pills one X-ray and a 2 braces for my foot. They ignored everything I said to them about my body. They did the bare minimum.
So now I got to move further, to get the care I need. Throughout my visits it never went down and they didn't care to see what was causing it. They diagnosed with old tendonitis

Leah one of the doctors gaslights patients who are being straight up with her. She came in the room never greeted me & told me to take off my jacket. Did not ask how I was doing just felt like she was trained to be for companies then to be someone to help out patients. I would not be sitting in that clinic if I had a say in where I could go. My employer forced me to come here, she even told me that I should quit my job if I felt like I was being overworked or mistreated.
I told her she made me feel uncomfortable & she then got a filipino/asian coworker to be a chaperone to watch what was going on. She continues to act rude & very dismissive about what I had to say infront of the younger guy. When she is done talking to me she walks away & I can hear the younger dark skin asian guy with glasses say " Halfway through that I wanted to laugh "

I realllllllllllly expected better from the medical staff. I had to also beg for an MRI when all I had gotten was an X-ray. She told me that I did not need a MRI but the physical therapist well actually more than one physical therapist said to request a MRI & when I did ask Leah she said it wasnt up to them since they werent doctors but its also not up to her. Its up to whoever is paying for everything to approve it. "idk, I just want to feel better alot of the stuff they shared is above my knowledge"
I then proceed to share info on when my injuries occur in day to day life and it feels like shes medically gaslighting me to believe this is all normal when I know its not. Other parts of my body are more worn and used alot more but I am not having the same issues there. I had to ask Brandon that I wanted to see a manager after leaving & the lady who heard me out on the front counter was professional. When I spoke to the older gentleman with whitehair/beard he remembered me & remembered what I said my last visit about Leah.
I am just baffled that these people can go around messing with the livelyhood of others when they can lie about what you are dealing with. She even stated that one of the physical therapist wrote that I was hesitant about doing certain thing when I told the physical therapist my concern and I am not lying about anything. If I have to use my other side of my body to complete the task on hand how is it really a true example of what I am physically limited to?

I recommend if you have issues to make a complaint on their website. I was doing that while I was waiting for Leah to come back to the room but she never did. Brandon had to release me & then I had to make my complaints in real time.
I told the staff that I also felt like a 2nd class citizen while being there.
I had originally got there at 1 pm & did not leave until 4pm after both my appointments. This should really tell you alot in how they care for those coming in.
