Everyone here at Island Dental is so nice!
My previous dentist staff was rude and never remembered who I was, even after 15 years. But at Island Dental the staff has always been super nice and welcoming. It’s so refreshing walking through the door and seeing people smiling and greeting you nicely. Thank you Island Dental

I have been going here every 6 months for the past 6 years, and never had anything other than a very pleasant experience. I just got my teeth cleaned this morning, and it was as good of an experience as can be. The hygienist was gentle and lovely, and Dr Askew and his staff always do an amazing job.

I thought it was about time I posted a genuine compliment about Island Dental in SUmmerlin Nevada. Tasha, who runs the office and does the billing and has the difficult almost impossible job of dealing with the various insurance is incredible! Patient, knowledgeable and KIND. Meanwhile, my dentist Dr. TOMITA is superb!! Almong my various office visits, he has made a night guard, put in a crown (so expert and comfortible that I do not feel a thing, and recently replaced an old filling that was driving me crazy. The new filling has once again restored absolute comfort. THANKS SO MUCH DR> TOMITA, TASHA, and STAFF!!!!

I'm not only highly satisfied, but grateful for Dr Tomita. He made me feel so comfortable and calm. I had my first ever filling today and did not know what to expect. Dr Tomita talked me through the steps. He and his assistant Zadia worked so quickly and smoothly together. They checked in with me to see how I was doing along the way. He made the process so quick, easy, and comfortable. I did not even feel the needle! At all! Highly impressed. I'm sending everyone I know to this office from now on.

Everyone from the front desk, assistants, hygienists, and doctors is so kind and welcoming! The office is very clean and conveniently located. I recently had 2 crowns done by Dr. Carlile and they are the best crowns that I’ve ever had in my life. He is very knowledgeable and answered all the questions that I had. His attention to detail is amazing! You can tell how confident he is and it definitely shows in his work. I highly recommend this office and will send all my friends and family here!

island dental was fantastic. their front office staff were so welcoming and helpful with any questions that I had. their hospitality definitely made my dental visit much better. additionally dr carlile was a great dentist. I came in with half a tooth and left with a pristine front tooth 😩 i couldn’t even tell the difference between my real tooth and fake tooth.

Recently moved to Summerlin from Colorado where I had the same Dentist for years that I trusted. I found Island Denistry from on line reviews. Dr. Askew and his staff are friendly, professional, competent and caring. I initially went in for a cleaning and Stephanie the hygienist did one of the best cleanings I have ever had. I also wanted a consult for possible crowns for front teeth as they were cracked and the enamel was eroding. Dr. Askew adviced I have crowns and explained why. He also said he would file down some of the sharp edges on my lower teeth. The day of the procedure was several hours but I can honestly say painless!! And I love the results. My front teeth now look amazing and I could not be happier. The bottom teeth don't catch on the top teeth and bite is much improved. And Imuch appreciated the "warm blanket"! I would highly recommend Dr. Askew and his team!!!

I've been going here for at least 10 years for dental work and teeth whitening. Sometimes I had insurance, sometimes I didn't and would pay cash. They are worth it. Very knowledgeable, professional, kind, and above all, do great work. I trust this clinic. I am in the medical field and am very picky for quality! If you want cosmetic work or veneers, Dr. Samuel Kim's clinic is amazing. My mom got hers done there and has been seeing him for over 20 years. Between this clinic and Dr. Kim, you are set for life for any problems.

If you have enemies, send them to Island Dental. They seem to have good reviews so I made an appointment for a cleaning and to bond a chipped upper central incisor, a procedure I've done a dozen times since it often re-chips. I made it very clear on the phone what I was coming in for, and they were very polite and said no problem. After filling out paperwork for 25 minutes, I sat in the chair and the dentist came in, and said we won't fix your chipped tooth because it's a veneer, something I had specifically mentioned when booking the appointment. I told him I don't care if it re-chips, I just need to look presentable for an upcoming event, and I've had it done many times before, but the dentist refused. He then had the audacity to say, "we can't help you but we won't charge you for today's visit". apparently they can't do a cleaning for someone with a chipped veneer either. On what planet does someone come in for a cleaning and bonding, gets neither, and the bill is even discussed? If you have time to spare and don't care about your teeth, Island dental is the place for you.

I found Island Dental from other reviews and checked to make sure my insurance (MetLife) covered it. I have some tooth pain and they offered to get me in on the same day! I was helped by Ashley and Dr. Askew and both were great. I appreciated that they verified my insurance and what my insurance will cover before moving forward with any services. I ended up being approved for X-rays and identified the cause of my pain. The faculty was clean, everyone was friendly, and they were informative about the process the whole time.

I was referred to Dr. Tomita from my Torrance, CA dentist. My first appointment was in October and now my second appointment was January. Dr. Tomita made me feel very welcome and confident. Both times, I got professional teeth cleaning. The office practices high level COVID safety procedures. Most of all the Staff is very friendly and professional. I am very happy with Dr. Tomita and the Island Dental staff.

Excellent experience!! I came to Island Dental after a very bad experience with a prior dentist. I can't compliment them enough. The entire staff is highly professional, very friendly, courteous and highly recommended. The office is spotlessly clean and gorgeous. Unhappy with the appearance of my smile after 55 years, I went in for a cleaning and to discuss crowns or Veneers. They suggested that I start with tooth whitening and possibly replacing old stained fillings in front. The results are absolutely amazing. Thank you to the entire staff for making my visit an awesome experience.
