Dr Fu is a fellow of the AAD. She has been the principal investigator for 17 clinical studies and served as a volunteer clinical faculty member at the University of Cincinnati, a board member of Brown Mackie College and president of the Chinese American Physician Association, Greater Cincinnati. Renowned globally for her expertise, Dr Fu earned her PhD and was a NIH post-doctoral fellow at Dartmouth College, the University of Utah and Cornell University. She earned her MD and completed her dermatology residency at the University of Cincinnati. Dr Fu has served as a clinical consultant for pharmaceutical companies. Dr Fu complements her medical practice with aesthetic laser treatments, BOTOX® Cosmetic, dermal fillers and PRP treatments.

Dr. "Jan" Fu, MD, PhD, FAAD, etc...a beautiful person and a wonderful, caring dermatologist! She is retiring very soon now after 38+ years of practice and she will be deeply missed by her patients and her professional colleagues. I seriously question the veracity of the negative comment. My wife and I have been patients of Dr Fu for almost 15 years. She is fantastic and extremely well educated. Dr Fu has saved the life of both my wife and myself because of early cancer detection. She also educates her patients on proper skin care. She obviously cares about her patients. I cannot say enough good things about her. And Kristine, the Certified Nurse Practitioner, is a great complement to Dr Fu because of her high skill level and pleasant manner. I would recommend Dr Fu to every person who visits this site. She is a great doctor and a caring individual.

I have been a patient of Dr. Fu for over 7 years. She has provided me with quality care with a calm and reassuring bedside manner. She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain procedures at each visit. She has even provided me with her personal phone numbers in case I have questions or concerns after normal business hours! A very caring and top notch doctor!

Appointment was on time, no long waits. Office staff was friendly especially Ariana. However, the good stuff stops there. My appointment with Dr. Fu was less than 5 minutes, if not 3. She didn’t ask me what are my medical conditions or what meds I have been using or taking for my condition. She simply glanced at my wound, didn’t touch it or examine it w any instrument and prescribed 4 meds based on that initial glance. What? She then had the audacity to tell me to come back in 2 weeks for a follow up. No thanks. It’s like a fast food restaurant and I definitely didn’t get quality care or a compassionate doctor. I would not recommend her as my consult w her wasn’t at all thorough. It adds distaste to have her prescribe so many meds without asking questions or examining the wound. I find doctors these days like to prescribe brand name medications (kickback from drug companies?) and have patients return for many follow up visits before proper treatment is given.
