First off let me say I was dreading this appointment because I was so uncomfortable. I have pleurisy and pneumonitis..All radiation therapy damage and my lupus..Dr Changawala was so attentive,caring and very impressive he knew my whole history..he was concerned and showed compassion.. Dr Changawala was wonderful! He was thorough and very kind. He listened to me and went over my scans so I understood. When I had to see another specialist, he made a phone call to find someone that could help me and he personally sent my info to the doctor for my referral. I can’t say enough good things about Dr Changawala. I had quite a lot of anxiety about my health and I ended up getting emotional during my appointment. Dr. Changawala is a wonderful doctor who is friendly, thoroughly professional, and genuinely cares about his patients. I have been under his care for the past few years
and he always takes the time to carefully explain each diagnosis and the treatment(s) necessary to cure it. I feel that I am in the very best of hands with Dr. Changawala!
The front desk staff members are also very helpful and efficient, and the doctor’s assistant Aaron, who conducts all the breathing tests, also does an excellent job
of guiding me through each test. Another bonus is that I never experience long wait times to see the doctor!

I talked to the lady at your dad she went back and talked to the doctor before I left about getting my cough syrup DM and she said the doctor had no problem were you feeling that instead I got a prescription for little jelly pills to help me with my cough which do absolutely nothing which I really have two bottles of that junk here still waiting on my prescription to be filled other than that the doctor was okay I guess I'm waiting to see the results from my test they said the doctor would have had him as of yesterday but I haven't got a call about my results yet still waiting and worrying am I going to be okay or not or do I have lung cancer or something like that I don't know all kinds of thoughts going through my mind

Dr Changawala cares! I have been to so many drs. Being born with asthma-pneumonia at 3 months old. Since I’ve been a coma, because I had bilateral pneumonia with an oxygen level of 54%!!! I have a lot going on- and he’s determined to help me! FINALLY, someone is going to help me! He means the world to me- I say to others in need- he’s the Dr. to go to!

Dr. Changawala is great. He listens to my concerns and advises me appropriately. However, his medical assistants are not. They NEVER call back. Last month I spent 3 weeks trying to get them to call me back until I was forced to drive to the office and demand someone come out and talk to me since I had been out of my meds for 3 weeks. This month I spent 3 days trying to get someone to call me back and they never did. The person who does prescription refills is really bad about returning calls as well and frequently refills the wrong prescriptions.

Dr. Nisarg Changawala is the best Pulmonary doctor out there. He has helped me so much. I was having problems breathing and I also couldnt sleep at night. I end up doing a sleep study and a breathing test. I end up having asthma and sleep apnea. Never in a million years did I think I had either. Being on asthma medication and a sleep apnea machine has helped out so much. My daughter was already seeing him and I'm glad I listened to her and got checked out.

I have been on a bi-pap for almost 20 years. For years I have visited my family here from West Virginia. My one sister is an RN. My breathing was terrible but my doctors back home weren't concerned. As soon as I came into his office, the nurse came out and checked my oxygen level. Once back in exam room, a blowing in the machine was concerning. The nurse put me on a portable oxygen maker and I walked down the hall. My levels went down so much. He had to get me a big tank. Finally I was being listened to. The doctor put me on 24/7 continuous oxygen. I appreciated the quality care the whole staff gives to there patients.
