Dr. Landerville is truly outstanding. My daughter received vision therapy with her, which greatly improved not only her vision but also her confidence. She was later diagnosed with high range dyslexia, but before moving forward we needed to rule out vision as a contributing factor. Dr. Landerville explained every step clearly and thoroughly, making the process easy to understand.

Regarding the concern about insurance, it’s important to note that developmental optometry is very different from simply measuring acuity, and unfortunately, insurance does not cover it. That is not Dr. Landerville’s fault. As a developmental optometrist, she works on the rehabilitation and functional use of the eyes in addition to acuity.

As a private Speech-Language Pathologist in the Valley who works within insurance systems, I can confidently say Dr. Landerville’s services are worth every penny. Our healthcare system needs to do a better job of recognizing functional medicine and holistic practitioners. When traditional, insurance-covered services fall short, professionals like Dr. Landerville provide vital options that can truly change lives.

Dr. Landervile is one of the best OD’s that I have seen. I have developed panic attacks that occurs while Im driving and have been checked by ENTs, other optometrists, audiologists, and Im still trying to figure out what is the main cause. Dr. Landerville took her time to give me a thorough examination that lasted at least an hour. She was the only one of all the specialists that I have seen that alleviated my panic attacks because she suspects that I have BVD (Bifocal Vision Disorder), a condition that I have not heard of before I went to her office. I’m wearing prisms glasses now because of her recommendation
and it has helped immensely. Lastly, she didn’t try to upsell any services until I’m fully done with my other screenings. I’m very thankful to have a specialist that is driven by compassion and that compassion is supported by the latest knowledge on her field.
