If I could give Dr Kenneth Shaw a 10+++ I would. He is beyond exceptional. Dr Shaw saved my husband's life 11 years ago. He was the only doctor out of a few that knew right away my husband had heart issues ( which was a shock to us). He immediately started running testing on him. On Good Friday he had an angiogram that showed majority of his arteries were 85-95 ocluded. Three days later my husband had quadruple bypass surgery done and is living proof that Dr Shaw is not only brilliant but caring.

If insurance changes we will go with whomever accepts Dr Shaw always.

He is amazing, brilliant, professional, caring, trustworthy, honest and like family to us. Without Dr Shaw my husband would of died 11 years ago. If you need a cardiologist Dr Shaw is your life saver.

I started seeing Dr. Shah as a new patient last spring in 2025 after moving in from out of state to Henderson. I have a heart condition that required regular testing and monitoring. I took my mom in yesterday for a 12:10pm appointment. We got there before noon and had to wait 1.5 hours before deciding to cancel and leave. Staff kept saying that doctor is running behind and there's 2 other people ahead of us. I asked how much longer and they can't tell me. Parking is very scarce and patients had to park on the other end of the building. I will never take my mom back, they're not the only doctors in town.

Talked about everything medically wise besides my heart. Tried diagnosing me with the plethora of other medical issues rather than focusing on my heart and it’s extremely frustrating. I have specialists for everything he tried telling me I was wrong. He diagnosed me on medication last year and seemed to say he would never have had me on that for my heart. I personally HATE Dr's BUT.....Dr Shah is the real deal I was referred to him when making my appointment I was scheduled immediately and the staff told me Dr is very thorough so plan on being here about 3 to 4 hrs
I arrived signed in and was called into the back within 30 mins had my tests done and he came and explained everything to me was not rushed he took his time going over all I needed which most Dr's are in and out in 5 mins...

It is clear that Dr. Shah cares about his patients and is probably a pretty talented doctor. I appreciate the time that he spent looking at my notes after hours. Like many others, the wait time that I had to endure without proper explanation from his staff is very disappointing. Whether it was improper scheduling or human error is beside the point. It causes additional anxiety that is frankly not needed with patients who are already stressed about their condition.

I’m giving a rating on DR. Shah’s knowledge and ability to medically help. Yes, you may need to wait in the waiting room, that’s what it’s for. It’s only because when you sit down with Dr. Shah you are normally there from 30-60 minutes, face-to-face with him. How often does that happen with any other doctor? You can ask as many questions as you want and engage him in important details about your health. I personally find comfort in his abundance of knowledge. The guy knows what he’s talking about! No, I do not enjoy waiting. I am a very impatient guy. However, I know that he will give me the same attention he is giving the person who is before me.

He seems to know what he’s doing, but the wait times are outrageous. One time I waited 4.5 hours to be seen. And currently I am still waiting for my appointment virtual call back from THREE WEEKS AGO! I was scheduled on a Thursday. This Thursday will be 3 weeks. He never called me. Every time I bring in records the staff loses them. I keep giving him a chance because I feel like he knows how to help, but I think it’s time to go to a new cardiologist. I never complain about drs. I used to work in medical field for 6 years. I understand emergencies happen and sometimes the dr over books. But it’s beyond ridiculous at this point. It’s every single time. People that need help probably shouldn’t go here.

Physicians are very careful indeed who we ourselves see for our own personal medical care. Dr. Shah is simply OUTSTANDING as an internist and cardiologist--he is one of the most brilliant physicians I have ever known with a multidisciplinary memory across many medical specialties. He has a methodical mind which systematically considers different diagnoses to arrive at the process to ultimately find the correct diagnosis utilizing his vast network of top-notch colleagues in different specialties. I have personally seen him work hours extra to make sure his patient got the best possible care--even on his day off or after normal working hours, often with little or no compensation from insurance--just to DO the RIGHT THING. He cares about his patients; they are not just numbers to him. What a lot of people don't realize is that often payment after insurance is only a fraction of what the patient is charged since the insurance is the middleman, often paying doctors very little a year later...The honorable ones like Dr. Shah do their best for their patients anyway, regardless of how little it may or may not be appreciated or how little they are actually paid. I have sent many people I know to him and we all agree on the quality, the concern, and the enormous effort he takes to do his best for us. Highly Recommended!
