I saw Loc Nyugen and he was excellent, he explained everything in detail, I left feeling optimistic and hopeful. I will definitely see him again. It's been a long time since I felt positive about any physician I am very happy with southwest medical, lake Mead office.
I also want to mention that the front desk workers were very nice and helpful, my wait time was less then 15 minutes.

Always easy to check in and you don't have to wait to long on the waiting area and the staff is courtesy, helpful, friendly and the places is always clean. On May 14,2026 my visit with, Warren Guinn, PA and his nurse it's always been good to see them because they're
always courtesy, friendly, caring and professional and apologized when they are running late. The nurse always takes her time to check my medication, Blood Pressure, Temperature and my Weight and she's courtesy, friendly and easy to understand and Warren Guinn, PA, takes his time also to check my medical records and start examining me and ask questions if I need referral or refilled on my medication. Warren Guinn, PA is easy to talk to, easy to understand and caring. Southwest Medical at Lake Lake Mead Pkwy is trustworthy to go too.

Today I had my first appointment to establish care with a new PCP, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. From the moment I walked in, front desk receptionist Tattiana was so kind, welcoming, and explained everything to me in great detail. Medical assistant Pam was wonderful and incredibly compassionate. She took her time with me and made me feel very comfortable throughout the visit.

Dr. Brandt truly listened to all of my concerns and never once made me feel rushed. He was thorough, attentive, and actually used his stethoscope during my exam, which is something my previous provider never even did during annual physicals over the last 5 years. It was refreshing to feel genuinely cared for and heard.

Latonia from Quest, who performed my lab work, was amazing as well. I honestly didn’t feel any pain at all during the blood draw.

Everyone I encountered today was professional, thorough, and compassionate. I left feeling confident that I am finally in very good hands. Thank you all for providing the best first time patient experience!

The assistants helping here are abrupt and just running a task lists instead of caring for humans in need. He told me they did not have time to discuss my concerns to just pick the top ones . I was already waiting 45 minutes. Dr ordered pills before getting blood work back. Dr did not get back to me about the blood work. Also ordered an X-Ray which I had to get someone to take me back in for only to find out they were not open that day. Sure would have been helpful if assistant told me this in advance. I'm not sure what I'll do next. This experience was one I'll not easily forget. This was my first time seeing this Dr at this clinic and it was not trust building.

I have Medicaid and have had negative experiences with health care in the past. So when it came to selecting this particular practice as my new primary care, I was initially skeptical.
To my surprise, so far, I have no complaints about this facility nor my doctor.
Setting the appointment was easy. They didn't make me wait 2 months to get in. Even though I had no urgent concerns I was scheduled relatively soon. The waiting room wasn't jammed or dirty. The doctor was not in a rush. She listened to me and offered everything I needed.
They gave me a paper with everything I needed to do in a step by step outline.
If you're in need of care I recommend this practice.

The front office staff is horrendous:
Discriminatory
Rude
Do not abide by HIPAA laws
Do not follow proper protocols for testing, medical urgency, refilling scripts, scheduling or referrals
Delayed my treatments by 3-4 months, have yet to get treatment
Front office staff will yell at you, talk down to you and demean you; yell at you to sit down if you don’t asap, try to power trip you

I arrived at 730 this morning, and was greeted kindly by front office staff. We were called promptly after 8 for my twins to have Xrays. My first son was called back as I explained to the tech they both had autism, and at times elope. After feeling comfortable I went back to the waiting room with my other twin. As Twin A came back the tech felt the need to announce to the lobby, "sorry it's taking so long, I have to deal with these kids". Well sir the only inconvenience was your attitude with whatever wrong side of the bed you woke up on. As you may not have been thinking, I found it pretty insulting. It is not my fault that my kids and I woke up extra early today to get here, to be first so that I could make it to my other appointments on time. Maybe others should have thought ahead, but to apologize for the inconvenience, wow. I hope you have a better day, because you sure ruined mine for the moment.

The thing that I find most discerning is that you cannot speak to anyone at the location directly, you have to call the general number. This would not even matter if my prescription
was filled but because it wasn't I have to wait for a call back from the central office just so they can connect me to the location or worse, speak on their behalf. NB. I should have started my antibiotics a day ago.

I have followed my PA from W. Charleston location, Oakey, Sienna Heights, then Next to 7-11 to this location. Once you find a great PCP you'll follow wherever they relocate to lol. The front desk staff has always been friendly and helpful. The waiting area, is always nice and clean. The restrooms are clean. There is Quest Lab there, on site. I highly recommend this location without any doubt. There is plenty of parking. Once you're called back into a room, you'll find them to be kept extremely clean. The only downfall for me, is it's a distance, from where I live in Las Vegas. Just wish it was a lot closer.

My experience with this location has been terrible.I had to establish Primary Care w/ them because my PCP & Pain Management stopped accepting my insurance so I made a appointment to get a referral for pain management. At my appointment i was very thorough with the PA explained all of my conditions & what medication I needed to manage them. she told me that they did pain management on site. I was hesitant and re explained what I needed. She assured me that that the PM PA worked with those medications so I set an appointment with their PM PA (Faigan not sure on the spelling) . He fails to x-ray the area of concern. I thoroughly explained my conditions & what I take.He has the audacity to tell me that he can't prescribe the medications because there isn't anything that he can physically see to warrant the medication. Never in all my years of going through this process had anyone said something that idiotic pain is not always visible. That is poor bedside manner to say the least. Having waste my time I had to make another appointment w/ the PA to get a referral for a REAL pain management Dr which took another week & a half. I told the PA to give me a referral for actual pain management & not the Rude useless PA on your staff. they go to give me a referral but the girl that handles them isn't in yet. So they say she'll call when she gets in. a couple hrs into the day she gave me the name and number of a PM Drbthat I had been "auto paired" with. Then told me it might take up to a week for them to call me to make the Appt. long story short it is March I have never heard from this referal I had to go back to paying cash at my old PM office. Then they call me to say that my knee has a problem and theyd like to refer me to a specialist well its mid March and I have yet to receive that referral I think 2 Mos is plenty of time. I'm sure they lie say they tried to call me but I have caller ID. they never tried they've already tried to use that lie on me once and I called them out on the lie. My advice go anywhere but here.

I think Southwest Medical gets a bad rap. So far, all the doctors and nurses have been professional, which I really like, and friendly, at all the facilities I visited in Henderson. Even when I call, they are very polite and I can tell they’re trying to provide the best customer service. They also follow up in a timely manner with test results and that’s great. Being new to Southwest, I admit I expected the worst but that’s not the case. It really expected wait times to be long but that wasn’t the case. The doctor I saw, Dr. Dalrymple, was very nice and helpful. He figured out the minor problems I was having and even managed to do a procedure for a test, saving me a trip to another doctor. I liked how he made my life easier. That’s what we want our doctors to do. Thank you Southwest Medical!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I scheduled a new patient appointment for my husband because we are new to the state and he needed to see a Dr. in order to get a refill on a particular medication he takes. I told their office which medication he took and they proceeded to book the appointment for their earliest opening which was more than A MONTH out.

Now that we've waited all this time to see this office, he was told during his appointment that they did not prescribe this medication and they would need to refer him out to someone else.

Now that I am trying to schedule him with another doctor in the area all appointments are booked until July!

DO NOT GO HERE. They are beyond unprofessional and a huge waste of time.

Ive been in twice and both times were horrible. the first time, i was told i just have a knee sprain and gave me an XL size knee brace when im 5'7, 135 pounds. turns out, i had tore my acl. the second time, i thought i had a scratch on my cornea and lost my contact somewhere. the physician laid me down, put dye in my eye, told me it was a scratch. the next day, i end up taking the contact out of my eye. how did a doctor look straight into my eye, put dye in it, and still not see the contact? I ended up with 9 scratches in the eye and the loss of vision for about a week.

I met with Pauline Maratonk, PAC, at this location. She was knowledgeable and experienced. She listened well, asked pertinent questions, and provided useful answers to my questions as well as guidance in future care. I needed additional testing, which they provided in-house as much as possible for no extra charge. I also needed a referral to a specialist, and the staff helped with that also. Overall, a positive level of care.

Arrived shortly before they closed so I got the rush job. My arm was in severe pain. They prescribed medication that did nothing. Now they want me to come back. Nothing changed they just want to bill me again for what they should have gotten right the first time. Am I wrong? Why should I have to pay twice? Quite a racket. This is why medical insurance is as high as it is. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Now the supervisor keeps calling me back on a "private" number which I don't pick up. Then she constantly leaves messages without a last name or extension. When I call back no one knows who she is. Thank God this isn't an airline, ..but I guess its just as bad isn't it?

Three days and they still did not call my prescription in. Now I have to go back to tell them to do their job. Stay away far far away

My wife and I have both gone here on two separate occasions and it was great. They were fast, efficient, and fully took care of our needs. My wife went in a few weeks ago and found out she had strep throat and they sent the prescription over to our pharmacy electronically. Everything was fast and easy. Then today I went in and was given a couple prescriptions for a sinus infection. We each saw different doctors and they were both knowledgable and professional. I'll fm definitely be going back for any of my family convenient care needs.
