I've been going to the LensCrafters since 2023 and I'm amazed at the difference between this branch and a different branch that I went to this recently. When I have gone in to get my eyes checked it's usually straightforward get in get out but then when it comes time to go to the eyeglasses side that's where it's completely different you see I'm on Medicaid and when they find out that I'm on that plan they tell me I have only a small section of frames to pick and I must stick with those frames. Now I pick my frames and sit back down and wait and after waiting 30 minutes I realize that they don't want me there cause they won't make any money off of me cause they probably assume that Im a deadbeat that has no money so I never got my prescription for my glasses filled and it expired. I went to a different branch outside of North Las Vegas and it was so different and I mean different. Friendly, the people who helped me with my frames and lenses were so friendly plus they already had gotten pre authorization from Medicaid for my frames so I knew exactly what I was going to be paying for what Medicaid couldn't cover. I don't know what it is about businesses in North Las Vegas but they sure treat people very badly. The role of thumb never assumed somebody who's on Medicaid is also broke and unemployed some of us work part-time jobs that are below $13,000 a year and we're stuck on Medicaid not by choice.

I had found some scratches on my lenses and noticed them while driving. My husband had mentioned our insurance covers replacements of the lenses and frames. Ashley was excellent. However after that everything has gone down hill. Ordered two pair of glasses, one for distance and one for reading. I was told that they would be ready in two weeks. After four weeks I called and the distance glasses were in. I asked them to mail them and received them. However, again, wrong frame, wrong lenses. I paid for the darkest changing lenses, nope and wrong frame. On January 3rd I was told that they would reorder my reading glasses. Called on January 10th about wrong frame and lenses. Now they have to reorder the distance glasses. BUT, they are also saying they have to reorder the reading glasses. I thought they already did that. I will NEVER go to Lenscrafters again, I don't care if the glasses cost twice as much. On top of it all before the discount the glasses cost $695.00. Definitely not cheap. I have been wearing glasses for 51 years and never had this happen to me. I worked in an opticians office and nothing like this ever happened while I worked there either.
Just thought others should be aware.

A truly beyond exceptional experience. When I had almost given up hope of finding a place that could help me in my unique situation, I was graced by Angel(she really is) on the phone. I was absolutely frantic trying to find a same day set of glasses for my daughter, taking midterms and unable to see her tests, just praying for a miracle. Angel assured me right away, that she would be more than happy to help me. I was a little apprehensive about how this would go, given other places I had already been to and completely shutdown. I'm a new patient to Lens Crafters. I came in tonight to ask for a emergency pair of contacts. I first went to the doctor side and the receptionist told me she count dispense due to my astigmatism. The receptionist told me to go to the sales side. I told the salesperson I needed a emergency pair of contacts. He said he would see if he was able to help me. He went to the back and about 7 min later he state he didnt have my prescription. I asked if he had something close to my script and he stated he would have to ask the doctor. So about 7 min later he states I could buy a 6 month supply for 126.00. He stated he was able to bring the price down from $180. I told him I was in the office about 4 months ago and another salesman gave me an emergency pair NO PROBLEM. That salesman didnt have to ask ANYONE and the process was easy peezy. I asked to speak with a manager and he stated the office didnt dispense emergency pairs only trials. I told the manager about how I was given a pair about 4 months ago. I believe the mgr stated that the office didnt do that anymore or some type of bologna! I totally UNDERSTAND if their POLICY states their office doesn't give emergency pairs. Im a Retail mgr myself and so dislike when you get different services from different people! Please have your associates all be on the same page. I go back to the doctor side and ask for my prescription so I can buy the contacts somewhere else. Needless to say I will NOT be going back to LensCrafters. I was at the Criag location on 11/25 @ approximately 520 pm.

Called four times in two hours. Phone rings. Press the number 2 button they say transfering to a representative. Then they hang up. I went to the store on Saturday, hoping to get prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses. Their prices are so high that they exceeded my insurance of $300.00 so I had to pull $49.00 out of my savings. To get the prescription glasses. I never got my prescription sunglasses because that would have cost me another $346.00. I won't go back after I get my regular glasses. Vegas Vision has never exceeded my insurance. But stupid me I wanted to try something new. And lens crafter did not cut the grade. Being on social security I have to live on $900.00 per month. No one even offered any deals or monthly payments. No need to respond back to me, Lens Crafter this is a done deal....

Our first time to visit there,and the one who helped me and my daughter is very accommodating. We just walked in,we went to N. Mesa Plaza which is closer to our house, I forgot her name but the name comes to my mind is Teresa😊. She helped us on what we needed to know from frames, prescriptions and billing. I bought my glasses from here. I broke them in half last night. Showed up the next day, hoping my warranty would cover the problem. It doesn’t. In order to get new glasses, I was told to update my prescription. So I asked to see the in-house optometrist, and there wasn’t any walk-in availability. I tried to schedule an appointment. The receptionist told me their next available appointment would be during the middle of next month. I feel like I was pushed out the door. I cannot drive my car, because I cannot see. Lens Crafters didn’t seem to value my vision needs. They made me feel like a nobody.
