Moved here recently and was looking for a new dentist. They had a great new patient special. Tiffany was very helpful getting me checked in and explaining the dental plan and payment options for further work. Alex was very friendly getting my x-rays and set up to see the provider. Dr. Elsea was very nice and knowledgeable. I was very happy with the amount of time she spent with me answering all my questions. Yuie the hygienist was gentle yet very thorough. My teeth felt very clean. Overall happy with the care I received and I feel comfortable coming back for further work.

Update: Came back for another checkup and cleaning and had a great experience! Yuie was very competent and thorough. I felt very clean after. I really like Dr. Elsea. She is so caring and makes sure to explain everything so I can understand it. The front desk staff is very communicative and friendly. 10/10 would recommend MacDonald Ranch Modern Dentistry!

From the moment you enter the office, until the door closes on you way out, you're treated with professionalism, courtesy and most importantly (to me), compassion. Then the check-up with Dr. Martinez went smoothly. Then came time for the hygienist, Josselyn. She was quite knowledgeable and very empathetic about my "love" for the dentist office. Time flew by and all was competed within an hour! I highly recommend MacDonald Ranch Modern Dentistry and their entire staff!

This dentists office is the only one I have felt seen and welcomed at since I was a kid. No sheisty business practices or trying to charge you for things you don’t need. The office staff always remembers my name and are so sweet and helpful. The drs and hygienists are mindful and gentle and the whole office feels like it’s a family, not a dental work mill. Highly recommend to anyone who has had a bad experience at dentists in the past.

Gosh where to start…I came to Dr Martinez almost ten years ago. I absolutely cannot imagine going to any other dentist. His manners, his explanation of recommendations and his staff are unmatched. And most importantly I never feel like I’m being upsold. Five stars from me!

My experience at this dentist office has been nothing but great until this last visit. I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never had a bad encounter with any of the staff. Everyone is really nice from the receptionists to the assistants to the hygienists. Even my dentist was really nice, but this time they put me with a different dentist that was far from kind and inviting.

I guess my regular dentist was out for the week and they stuck me with Christopher Martinez. I don’t know if he thought I was younger than what I am but he treated me like a little kid. All he did was criticize every minor thing that was wrong with my teeth. No dentist has ever done that to me before. I could see if I came in to get all of my little flaws corrected but I just came in for my annual cleaning and check up. I felt like he was trying to sell me things that I didn’t want or need. He was very rude and unprofessional and if it wasn’t for the rest of the excellent staff I probably would have switched offices already. But if he was the only dentist at this office I would definitely leave. Thank God they have other dentists that are more professional, kind, and understanding at this office.

Yesterday, one of my teeth broke while eating a banana, yes, the world’s crunchiest food. I called McDonald Ranch Modern Dentistry and advised them of my dilemma. They were able to schedule an immediate appointment for that afternoon. Dr. Elsea, her assistant, Steven and everyone in the office were phenomenal, not only were they supremely empathetic and supportive but constantly checking on me during the entire process of having a new crown fitted. I’ll freely admit that I am a bit of a scaredy-cat when it comes to anything to do with a dentist. The professionalism of the entire staff shone through and put me at ease. I was a patient at the Horizon Ridge location. The staff there were really great. Professional to say the least. Sadly, I was sent to the Macdonald Ranch location for a root cancel. A week prior to my appointment I called up to express my concern that I didn’t feel the tooth identified as the need for root canal was the actual tooth.

Tiffany is the receptionist at the Macdonald Ranch location and from the whole hello, there was just a “receptionist tone” that had zero care at all. When I explained why I thought it needed a 2nd evaluation , she literally said and I quote “are you a Dr?” When I said no, she replied “exactly” I’m sure they know what they are talking about.

I want to say her name again since I hope the team there read this complaint and wants to reply, they know “who” is the reason for this post and why I decided to cancel my entire relationship with this chain. Tiffany was a complete joke to have in a client facing role.

Only thing modern about these offices are their prices. I go on average 4 times a year to dentist so I know going plan costs for most procedures. They even find ways for you to pay out of pocket for ur free dental cleanings with your insurance. Serious! I needed a “special “ cleaning. $200 out of pocket was the quote lol. For my bi annual teeth cleaning.

But Tiffany at Macdonald Ranch is the main reason I’m out as a patient here. Keep in mind they bribe clients with free stuff for writing reviews for them. Take these reviews with that in mind.

I just moved to Las Vegas and was looking for a new dentist. The staff was friendly. However, I came in for a basic 6 month cleaning and polish and ended up with a laundry list of things that they said I needed. Such as Scaling, Root Planing, Laser and IRR. They wouldn’t even clean my teeth unless I agreed to have these procedures done first.

I called my dentist of 25 years to get his opinion. He said this is a corporate based dentistry and they are known for upselling procedures that may not be necessary. My dentist said based on my past dental history and my last periodontal probing checkup 6 months ago he would be surprised if I needed to have this work done. I asked if the probing can be “fudged” to show higher numbers based on how the process is done. He wanted to remain professional but I got the message.

I will be taking the flight back to Long Beach to see him and to verify if indeed these procedures are necessary.

Be careful with the front office & your dental insurance plans, they are very, very inefficient & negligent i.e. a hot mess, also they owe me $85 bucks!

The dental work I received here was very good. I feel I was deceived and overcharged for two crowns. When I received my explanation of benefits from my dental insurance it showed patient owed $895 yet I was charged $1868. When I asked about the overcharge I was told because my crowns were porcelain and made in house with a 5 year warranty it costs more. It was never explained to me that I had the option to pay $895 for two crowns made out of house which I definitely would have chose for half the cost.

Amazing staff , knowledgeable Dr witch it does lead him to up sale you on the dental 🦷 laws by law, they’re gonna highly recommend everything because they can get in trouble and that’s where the Up selling starts which is kind of a turn off, but I know they want the best for us not taking anything away from this visit. Just know that there is rules they have to obey, which leads to up selling your visit and as you know, the insurance doesn’t cover anything your pocket does.

This is a wonderful Dental facility. Everyone I interacted with was very nice and knowledgeable. Tiffany greeted me as I walked in making me feel welcome right away, she came back into the exam room later to review my needs, insurance coverage and my remaining costs. And she gave me time to call my husband to discuss. No pressure at all, which was much appreciated. Steven politely and with a smile, came to get me for X-rays and engaged in a nice conversation. That is a rare occasion in most businesses these days. He was involved throughout my visit and stayed conversational. Dr. Martinez was my dentist for this visit and is always so kind. He takes time to listen and understand my questions and/or concerns and he explains thoroughly what he’s doing and what needs to be done. Danielle was my hygienist and also a pleasure. Like I did not want to see anyone else, and she was able to find me a last minute appointment for the following day. Which was today and I am doing a google review for it. I literally enjoy coming to this dentist, the people hear are just nice and all for goood vibes!!

Very disappointed! I had my teeth cleaned with no issues within six months the day I went to MacDonald Ranch Modern Denistry for their $59 first visit promotion, which included X-rays, examination, and cleaning. They wanted to charge me over $600 to clean my teeth and refused to clean them with the promotional offer.

I can’t say enough good things about this dental office. Every time I come in, I feel genuinely cared for and well taken care of. My dentist takes the time to explain everything clearly, answers my questions with patience, and provides solid, thorough care. I never feel rushed or like I’m just another patient on the schedule. Instead, I leave each appointment confident that my dental health is in great hands. It’s rare to find a team that is this professional, attentive, and compassionate — I truly trust them with my care and highly recommend them.

This is the absolute best dentistry I have been to! And I have been to many! I am needing quite a bit of work done and every time I go in they are so pleasant and patient with me and explain everything in detail to me and do not make me feel worried or insecure… My first time in they even had Hanson Mmmbob playing in the office, lol! And that is right up my alley, hahaha… Definately would recommend this beautiful and professional office if in need of a dentistry. I know I am in great hands!

I had a tooth extraction and implant here and the whole team was amazing! The oral surgeon, Dr. Partovi, was so reassuring and compassionate, I felt at ease. The office manager, Tiffany, went above and beyond helping me with paperwork and insurance- her follow up and communications were outstanding. And Danielle, the hygienist was kind and wonderful, too. Truly grateful for the care I received!
