I have 0 respect for a company that will send away a patient who is suffering in tooth pain!
Showed up because I had a emergency. I thought 3 teeth needed to be pulled. They took me in did xrays had a Dr come and look and said "we dont have the time" to help you come back on Thursday (it was Tuesday) and nothing but a prescription for antibiotics!!! No help, no pain reduction, just sorry come back on Thursday!!! So I went to Hillcrest dental where they took me in. Numbed my mouth to alleviate the pain before they figured out if they could do it right away... imagine that... let's get rid of the pain so I could think straight THEN figure out if they could help me...

After arriving before my scheduled appointment I was informed by the front desk attendant that my appointment would have to be rescheduled because of an issue with my referral. I asked what the issue was and was struck with a rude and dismissive response to the effect of “you need to call your insurance regarding your referral.” I then asked if I could call my insurer and resolve the issue in office and keep my appointment. The response was again cold “ they’re closing already and it’s time for your appointment so we have to cancel and reschedule.” Several people seated in waiting were in ear shot of the exchange so to save myself further embarrassment and the risk of escalation due to the unnecessary crudeness I decided to leave without rescheduling. I can’t speak to the quality of work as I did not receive the treatment required however I will say the reception was unacceptable.

I had a very disappointing experience at this orthodontist office today. My daughter had a 5:00 PM appointment, and we arrived early at 4:45 PM. I signed her in upon arrival and waited in the waiting room. At 5:07 PM, I received a text message asking if we were still coming to the appointment, even though we had already been checked in and sitting there for over 20 minutes. I also received a phone call, and I explained that we were already in the waiting room.

By around 5:20 PM, after all that waiting and confusion. The entire process felt very disorganized and unprofessional. I understand offices can get busy, but communication and check-in procedures should be handled much more efficiently, especially when patients arrive early and follow instructions.

Worst palce ever! Last time I ever bring my children here. Today I spoke to the manager Angie over a few issues I have had with front office as they cannot seem to grt in the same page and keept changing my appoiment, where rude an unproffesional.I showed her proof she was very nice and proffesional. Theen she left to lunch an all of a sudden my kid was pushed to last 2 more families that had arrived 20 mim after me where called and helped before my son some had multiple kids and I was made to wait 1 hour to be brought to the back for xrays. Then was asked to wait in a small crowded hallway with multiple people for another 20min. This office is very disorganized and there treatment is unprofessional and disorganized. An obiously because I reported the issues my kid was throwned to the back of the line. Great service lets retaliate against patients for speaking up!

I get my braces here, and decided why not come to get my cleaning too since it’s a general and ortho. Yeah, worst mistake….. ortho is already bad in itself neither orthodontist cares about my concerns of my teeth, front desk is rude every time I’ve gone in, chair side manner is terrible, general side is terrible, I paid $85 to get my teeth brushed while IN ORTHO… after being PAST DUE for a cleaning… I had to go back the following day to get my teeth scaled and still have build up slightly beneath the gum line. No hygienist at this office to properly scale teeth, the doctor does it terribly, only does surface level doesn’t go beneath the gums…. I am a graduated dental assistant and have worked with skilled hygienists and the doctor tried to tell me the hard buildup on my molars was PLAQUE not tartar/calc… I wonder how many people they are screwing over that don’t have dental knowledge!!!!!! I’m honestly looking for a different place to get my braces finished because for the past 4 months I’ve been repeating myself about the same tooth and I’m pretty much getting called crazy even though I have pictures from previous treatment as a teenager and the tooth I have an issue with looked good before… now it’s all flared and they claim my teeth aren’t symmetrical… if you’re looking for a dentist it’s not this one!

I can't say enough about the professionalism of the staff at Nevada Dentistry & Braces at the craig location. Just before going to Nevada Dentistry and Braces I went to another company including TWO locations, with Absolute dental, only to be completely humiliated, embarrassed, talked down to by absolute dental (yes, that's right, I have no problem at all mentioning their company name..none). Being told that I did NOT qualify for the procedure, and that my insurance would not cover it (which, btw, my insurance had already assured me that it would be covered) Let me assure you, word of mouth is THE BEST, or worst, form of advertisement, hands down. My INSURANCE ! were the ones who recommended Nevada Dentistry & Braces, and I am so happy they did, because it changed my life. After the absolute (no pun intended) horrific experience with absolute dental, Nevada Dentistry & Braces has restored my confidence, my smile, my faith in the system.. and in professional kindness. The front desk women are consistently kind, and professional, and the dentists.. well, there's just none better than them that exist out there, period. I am very picky, and I speak my mind.. just ask absolute dental. I am so grateful to the staff at the craig location for what you've done for me, I had been through A Lot that got me to the point I was at, when I first walked through your doors, I was angry, and had given up hope. It's a New Year and I'm giving great reviews for Medical Offices that deserve it. My over the phone New Patient scheduling experience was lovely. I was able to be seen the same week which was awesome. They accept a number of insurance plans. I was happy to know that they were on my Providers list. I was late and it took me a longer than usual time to fill out my paperwork Smdh. I should've made sure that I'd left work earlier than I did. The Doctor, and his staff were still able to see me. Dr. Arthur Abdoulin was relatable, very polite, and he had a nice disposition. Which is rare with dentist more-so cause a large percentage of people don't like to go to the dentist nor do they take care of their hygiene. This is statistically a common problem. That's why you can always get in to a dentist office faster than a doctor's office. I really appreciated the delicacy of the dentist. He wasn't strong arming my teeth or anything. I'm glad that I didn't just take the bad reviews as a sign to look elsewhere. I have some minor work that needs to be done and I'm gonna get on a payment plan for the work that I need completed. Dentistry has gotten more expensive than back in my younger days. I may have to get a second or third gig just to pay for my work that I have to get done. Lol.

Thanks again, Dr. Abdoulin for offering me top tier service, and your staff (whether you hired) them personally or they came through an agency. They were all delightful people.,

Its been a while since i went to the dentist, 5 years to be exact, i came here because it was nearby my house and my mom mentioned it to me. Went to the frontdesk got an appointment.

Day of my dental check up, i was greeted with a friendly hello and facility was clean. Got my xray and results, i took pictures right away because my dad is a retired dentist and sent it to him. Dr Art examined my teeth, no cavities found but Deep scaling, 4 quad and crown #29 post build up #29. My dad mentioned the same thing. I knew i was in good hands when my dad (retired dentist) and Dr art mentioned the same thing.

Other dentist would say you need this and that.

Done with all my dental work. I left with a smile. Looking forward for my next appointment

Edit: They do not take care credit and that's a bummer. I assumed they did So shame on me for assuming. Still a great office but removing a star. If insurance won't cover something you expect a patient to be able to come out their pocket 300 plus dollars on the spot is crazy especially during the holidays. I would definitely recommend getting some form of payment assistance from patients. CareCredit is amazing and they have been the reason why I have been able to do a lot of medical things for myself and children. Overall amazing clinic but I would say work on getting if not Care credit, something that can help not pay out of pocket up front money you don't have.

2 stars because dentist is great,he deserves 5 stars alone. 3 star off because staff is immature. Witness a woman request a female assistant ( as she as all right to do so) staff acted as though it was absurd and a slap in the face to the male assistant on duty. Everyone has a right to be comfortable especially in a medical office. I did in fact end up with said male assistant and I'm realizing that the woman before me probably had him before and most likely didn't want him because he is extremely rough,not gentle at all. He can hear you in pain and continues to be rough. He needs to be retrained maybe by the dentist as he is very kind and gentle with patients.

Our first appointment was scheduled on a day the orthodontist wasn’t even in, and when we rescheduled, they somehow lost that appointment too. This all happened in front of my son, who was in pain from broken wires and swelling after a major move. My first appointment went great. I was scheduled for my second in July. Unfortunately my child care provider got detained by ICE and I immediately called the location to reschedule. They refused. I tried contacting the manager but I’ve been calling for a month and they always take my number down but never call.

The staff here is horrible at communicating. I wish I could give less than 1 star. They take no accountability in the office. Constantly running behind without giving notice of running late. providing incorrect patient expectations prior to surgery. I have been currently waiting 4 days for a manager call back from Angie

I’ve had good experiences with the dentist here in the past—he’s skilled and professional, which is why I initially trusted this office. However, my most recent cleaning left me very uncomfortable and disappointed.

The hygienist only spent a few minutes with me. She quickly polished a few of my front teeth only, barely touched the others, then flossed just a few areas in my mouth—not the entire set of teeth. She then sprayed some water, told me to close my mouth, and that was it. The whole process felt extremely rushed, and I left the chair genuinely confused about whether a proper cleaning had even taken place.

I felt so unsure that I went to the front desk afterward to express my concern. They said they spoke to the hygienist, who claimed that because I “didn’t have much tartar,” all that was needed was a quick polish. But that explanation doesn’t match what I experienced—or what a professional cleaning is supposed to include. Even with minimal tartar, I should’ve received a full cleaning with thorough scaling and flossing. I know what I felt—and this was not that.

While I still have trust in the dentist himself, I do think this experience reflects poorly on the office’s standard of care. Patients should never leave feeling like they didn’t receive a full service or like they weren’t worth the time.

****UPDATE: This place billed me over $400 for a "free" consultation that they never completed. Don't go here. If you have the misfortune of already being a patient here I would double-check all of your claim paperwork to make sure they filed it correctly.

I got a call the night before my appointment asking if I could bring my mom in for a medical appointment that we had been wait-listed for. It was scheduled for 12:30 and my appointment with this office was at 11:00 so it should have been plenty of time. I've had orthodontic consults before and I came prepared with pictures and x-rays and they've never taken over 30 minutes. I waited over 30 minutes past my appointment. One of the front desk receptionists was unprofessional and blamed me for the fact that you guys were late taking me to the back. She claimed that you guys were behind because she didn't have my insurance information and was waiting for me to fill out the paperwork. I had given them the paperwork long before I asked how much longer it would be. Additionally, I'm fairly certain I gave my insurance information to the person who scheduled the appointment and she could have asked for it as soon as I walked in the door if that's what the hold-up was. My appointment was never completed as I made the front desk and tech aware I had an appointment at 12:30, so I had to leave after sitting in your office for over an hour. When I called back to finish the appointment to speak to someone regarding a payment plan, I was told I would receive a callback and to stay by the phone. That was 6 days ago and I still haven't received a call back even after leaving feedback when asked to complete a survey, no one reached out to me at all to remedy the situation.

I am extremely EXTREMELY upset with dentists in this office. the desk workers and phone people are great. but the dentist didn’t even look at my teeth properly or anything after hearing about my bad oral hygiene due to depression. He said “you need to rip all your teeth out for dentures” and after that i got TWO SEPARATE SECOND OPINIONS. Both of these offices said “you do not need dentures. You really just need antonio’s, fillings, cleaning, root canals and some caps” the only downside is that the first dentist was trying to charge me $67,000 cause they didn’t take my insurance. I have medicaid and i have no credit so finding a dentist is a pain. I then called this dentist and told them what happened and i ASKED them if i can bring it the list/plan because NV dentistry takes my insurance. When i asked them this TWO SEPARATE TIMES, they said “yeah bring it in and we’ll see what we can do vs what you’d have to pay out of pocket” and then I had an appointment with NV dentistry 2 weeks into january, i got call from them, they told me that the dentist is refusing to do ANY work on you unless you get dentures.” they’re liars, they wouldn’t even ATTEMPT to help me. I have bad health as it is, i cannot use dentures and those chemically glues. I had EXPRESSED this to the dentist. And for this be the ONLY dentist to deny my help unless i RIP OUT MY TEETH. My teeth are not bad. they just need to be worked on. And this dentist made me fee horrible and embarrassed. If you’re looking for a dentist that ACTUALLY cares about you and your oral hygiene, STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION.

Found this place from searching for affordable dentistry in the area. I personally went in because I knew I needed my wisdom teeth removed.

They require a consultation beforehand that cost $30. They didn't do much besides X rays and looking inside with a small mirror.

Their oral surgeon comes in only twice a week, so those days specifically are very busy in the office. My appointment was at 9:30am but they did not start with me until 11:30am. I paid $999 to get all 4 wisdom teeth extracted plus full sedation using a needle (no laughing gas). The surgeon was very friendly and is willing to answer any questions you have. The supporting staff are great also and do a good job of making you feel comfortable.

I would highly recommend this place to those looking for more affordable oral care. Their website shows you their discounted prices, definitely worth checking out if you have no dental insurance.

Since I first called Nevada Dentistry and Braces (Craig Rd.), I received amazing customer service. As a new patient, I felt super taken care of. Tannia at the reception scheduled me without a hassle and assured I would get my exam/xrays and cleaning done the same day without a problem. Dr. Art is easygoing and complimented my dental care as I had no cavities 😀 saying I was doing great and to keep it up.

However, I want to be honest and say that when the doctor did the scraping off the tartar, he did scrape a little too rough hurting my gums and making them bleed. I didn't say anything at this point as I thought he's the doctor and he knows what he's doing. When I got to the second part of the cleaning the hygienist did an excellent job at polishing my teeth clean but he also went too hard at it with the spin brush and made some cuts in my gums and lip. I did let him know this time that it was hurting me and he switched approaches, but when I left the office I definitely felt parts of my mouth pretty sore and burning.

I spent about 4 days with mouth soreness and high sensitivity from the overall cleaning. I treated it with constant hydrogen peroxide rinses and it finally healed, but I was concerned it wouldn't and that I could get an infection from the open sores. Overall, I don't think it was necessary or correct to be so rough on their cleaning approach so I would recommend that if you are feeling discomfort during a cleaning, you definitely voice it out. Other than that, I was grateful they took my insurance and did not recommend unnecessary stuff to pay out of pocket for, but I don't know if I will be going back.
