During my eye appointment evaluation Dr Wu advised that I had experienced a stroke in my left eye. He treated the eye with some injections immediately. In addition, I was advised to get some eye drops and ointment and apply to the eye and to schedule a follow up appointment in 30 days. consequently, I’ve already noticed improvement in the my left eye. I am optimistic that there will be a positive outcome in the future from Dr Wu treatment efforts.

I was referred to Nevada Retina Center because the office I have been going for over 10 year couldn’t give me an emergency appointment. My eye doctor referred me with doctor Chris Wu because he found a problem that was making me lose my vision. They give me an appointment right away and doctor Wu has been wonderful, he did all necessary testing and more to bring my vision back. All of the stuff are very friendly. Very prompt and friendly and helpful. Quick in and out. Got the new reverse dilated drops for $25. Works pretty fast. I was back in about 2 hours. I usually have to go last appointment of the day as it takes about 6-8 hours. So, worth it. Consise information at each step. If you need an extra numbing drop ask for it!! No sense being uncomfortable. Recommend the Dr Wu and all of the office staff!

Nevada Retina Center is an impressive first-class medical facility. Every staff member is totally professional. And I can’t say enough of positive things about the surgeon who performed my vitrectomy, Dr. Chris Wu. One year ago next week Dr. Wu met with me on a Saturday morning to discuss my emergency retinal detachment and he performed surgery the following Sunday morning. From the first meeting with him, Dr. Wu has been explaining everything including all options for the vitrectomy. His quick actions and surgical skills on a weekend saved my left eye. Visit was on 28 April 2026 appointment with Dr. Chris Wu. He is very welcoming and gives comfort. His demeanor on the explanation of the visit and procedures done is well understood. I love, trust and believe that he has provided the best care I needed. If needed I will continue with my visits under his care. The staff in the clinic are welcoming and friendly as well.. After my procedures with Dr. Wu, I was taken to the appointment desk to finish my check out, I wasn't able to see due to my procedures and was escorted, hand held and directed by two staff members to the appointment desk and then out to my transportation vehicle. I give Dr. Ward five stars for everything he has done for my mom. He is truly a professional and definitely knows what he is doing and he helped my mom regain most of her vision in the eye that was operated on. She's mostly returned to normalcy and no longer needs much assistance with daily tasks and the like.

However, I really wish things could be a little more convenient for their patients. How can it be that you can't email a doctor's note (after YOU messed up on it) just because it has minor personal information on it? The only "personal information" on it is her name. Of course it's going to have her name on it. And that's why you can't email it? Maybe you can fax it? No. You can't do that either. They blame their security protocols, which is a concern in and of itself.

It's 2024. You're a doctor's office. You mean to tell me you have no form of data encryption? How will you protect patient data from an attack? I sincerely hope it never comes to that.

Every other doctors office, from doctors notes to FMLA paperwork, has been more than happy to accommodate, but not you guys.

The tech told my mom that the doctor left the building and that he was the only one capable of sending emails, so we HAD to drive nearly ten miles to pick up the doctors note. Do you know how ABSURD that sounds? Honestly sounds like a bad joke, but it's not.

Policy is probably to blame for this, and so I'm not upset at anyone, but rather the situation. You're trying your best, I'm sure. If it is policy, it needs to change.

I have been seeing Dr. Lee for over 5 years. Unfortunately, staffing at his locations have hit rock bottom. I recently spent 2 weeks attempting to get a simple refill for a prescription of eye drops that I have been taking for 5 years. The staff member that ended up on a conference call with my pharmacy was argumentative and rude. Can you believe that it came to the necessity of a 3-way conference call just to try and get Nevada Retina Center to refill a prescription.
I then asked to speak to Dr. Lee and was advised he was OUT for the week. I asked to speak to the office manager and she was OUT. I than asked to speak to whoever was in charge and was advised there is NO ONE. I believe that !!! I then left a messgae for Dr. Lee to call me the following week when he returned and I NEVER heard from him.
I won't be back. Dr Lee, your practice is only as good as it's worst employee.... and you have several.

My wife has been treated by Dr. Timothy Tweito, M.D. since January 2021 for macular degeneration in one of her eyes. She has reduced vision in the central part of this eye, especially at night in the dark. She has just received her 3rd shot in her eye, one each month. She has been placed on a 6 week schedule for future shots which will slow deteriorating vision in one of her eyes. This condition came on quite suddenly. My wife's mother, before she died at 91 years old, and her sister in her 70s both have this same macular degeneration condition and have continued to receive shots in one of their eyes for several years. The doctor said that heredity is a factor in having this condition. My wife is very happy with the service that is being provided by Dr. Timothy Tweito and his staff. She has had minimal discomfort after receiving these shots, much less than she originally anticipated. By the second day her eye feels normal after the shot, although the condition of her eye remains the same. Only patients are allowed in this business at the present time, so I wait for my wife in the car parked just outside the building. I drive her home after her appointment. Ken

Dr. Heeg replaced Dr. Tweito who moved to Florida. Dr. George Par replaced Dr. Heeg who moved to California. My wife, Michele, received a shot in her eye from Dr. Par on 7-25-2022 and is scheduled for another shot on 9-19-2022. My wife said that Dr. Par has a different technique for providing the shot, that is the most comfortable shot she has ever received. Dr. Par deserves a the highest 5+ rating. Ken

The staff at most locations are the worst. Never a follow up and no return calls from technicians. The girls on the phone are not very competent and don’t understand anything about visual treatment. Avoid especially the Maryland Parkway location. Understaffed and they don’t follow social distancing for Covid. I’ve had nothing but bad experiences.
