I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Colgin and the team at Optimal Health Members. When I first arrived, I could barely stand or walk. The pain was absolutely excruciating-easily a 12 out of 10. I was on crutches, in tears, and my husband and I were desperate for help after trying everything we could think of. I wanted to avoid surgery and drugs at all costs. Optimal Health Members provides relief with alternatives to surgery and drugs.

This review is long overdue, but I honestly feel it means more now than it would have right after treatment. Being able to speak from six months out, and now being almost completely recovered, says so much more about how effective Dr. Chris and Sandi truly are.

When I found Optimal Health, I was in one of the darkest places of my life. I was severely depressed, in excruciating pain, and truly felt like my life as I knew it was over. For nine months I had been dealing with a herniated disc at L5/S1 and had tried everything I could to avoid surgery. I had done physical therapy, adhesion release therapy, ozone injections, MRIs, and more. Nothing was helping. The answer everywhere I turned was starting to sound like surgery, and that was something I desperately did not want.

By that point, I was sleeping maybe 45 minutes at best a night. I was crying regularly from the pain. I couldn’t sit upright in a car, on a plane, or in a regular chair. I couldn’t walk for more than five minutes without being in agonizing pain. I ended up in the ER two days in a row, and on the second day I walked in literally bawling my eyes out. I was desperate and felt like I had run out of options.

That was when I called Optimal Health.

Sandi answered the phone, and I will never forget what she said. She told me not to walk into the hospital and to trust her, and to come try them first. I took that chance because at that point I had absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain if they could get me even 50% better.

I am so grateful I listened.

At Optimal Health, I did the decompression laser, Dr. Chris adjusted me, and I rested in the office with red light treatment. I came back again the next day for another adjustment before having to leave town, since I no longer live in Las Vegas and was only visiting when I found them.

I felt relief the very first night. The second night was even better, and for the first time in nine months, I actually slept. That alone felt like a miracle. I then traveled back across the country and was able to sit in the vehicle comfortably, something I had not been able to do before. From there, little by little, my back kept improving.

Now here I am six months later, and I have my life back.

I am still careful, especially with lifting, and I respect that my back is still healing, but almost everything else has gone back to normal. After the level of pain I was living in, that is something I do not take for granted for one second.

Dr. Chris and Sandi quite literally changed my life. They helped me avoid surgery when I truly believed I had no other choice left. Beyond that, they gave me hope when I had none. Dr. Chris is incredibly knowledgeable, and you can tell he genuinely cares. When he shared that he had gone through back issues himself at a young age and that it inspired him to help others, it all made sense. You can absolutely feel that purpose when you walk into their office. They created a place that truly feels centered around helping people heal.

Sandi was also amazing from the very first phone call. Her compassion, confidence, and urgency to help me in that moment meant more than words can say.

I will continue trusting only Dr. Chris and Sandi with my back care moving forward, and when I return to Las Vegas I absolutely plan to continue a routine with them to maintain my back health.

I recommend them constantly, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone dealing with back pain or feeling like they are out of options. Please give them a try.

I am certainly no stranger to back issues. Nearly my entire spine has been broken at one time or other-at last count 16 herniated or bulging discs, a three level fusion from C6 to T1, seven old compression fractures, as well as two incomplete spinal cord injuries. After suffering a very hard fall onto concrete January 2nd, I assumed I was in for just another month of back pain. However, the pain got worse and worse in my lower spine. Sciatica went down the back of both legs, and I had a great deal of difficulty walking. Even the front of my legs were tingling and painful. My regular chiropractor, Dr. Quan, treated me several times, but then I caught what a nurse friend said was norovirus, and was very sick for over two weeks. Got over that mess and tried aquatic therapy, which gave me some relief, but much needed exercise. Finally in an effort to avoid the neurosurgeon, I tried SoftWave. The cool thing about Dr. Colgin is, I told him the first appointment that I already have a great chiropractor, and that she would be the only person adjusting my spine, as she has been for the past 9 years. He said he was 100% fine with that, and even encouraged me to keep seeing her. Thus far, SoftWave has lowered my pain level from level 8 to 3 or 4, and still have several treatments to go. On a side note, before seeing Dr. Colgin, I was so sore that I laid in bed for two months for at least 20 hours per day, thus I have almost zero stamina. My pain is lessening exactly as Dr. Colgin said it should, and my stamina is very slowly getting a little better. I could barely walk when I stumbled into Optimal Health Members. I had no idea where to put my feet down as I could barely feel them. Now four weeks later I am walking much better, the sciatica is much improved, but hopefully the pesky lack of energy issue will keep improving and I can return to full-time work very soon. Hello everyone, I wanted to share my experience because I’m genuinely excited about the results I’ve seen.

I started this program on February 9 with Dr. Colgin because I was dealing with a few health concerns. I weighed 163 lbs at 5’6”, the blood pressure would sometimes reach around 133/90, and I often felt uncomfortably bloated after eating. I also had frequent burping and acid reflux, plus two occasion ending up in the emergency room due to gerd symptoms.

Since starting the program, I’ve seen real changes. The blood pressure is now consistently in a healthy range (around 118/under 80), my acid reflux has gone away, and I no longer feel that constant bloating. I’ve also lost weight and am now down to 151 lbs.

I am truly impressed with the care and services at Optimal Health Members.
I had been dealing with significant pain, numbness and tightness due to carpal tunnel. We focused the softwave treatments on the left wrist and arm because that side was far worse than the right.
Right after my fist session the extreme tightness extending to my elbow had softened. Each additional treatment felt as if the tightness and constant ache was receding back down towards my wrist.
After ten treatments, the tightness is gone. My constant pain and aches are greatly reduced.
Not 100% resolved and I was not expecting perfection.
Nothing I have tried prior to finding Dr Colgin provided any type of relief.
I am now trying to strengthen my wrist and grip strength with some exercises Dr Coglin has suggested and actually feel like there is hope.
Years of hard labor and competitive sports on the pro level definitely took a toll on me.

I am officially a happy customer of Optimal Health. I saw their add on Facebook while dealing with a wrist issue. By the time I made it to their office my wrist was on the mend. The Dr ask if I had anything else bother me. I have a very old back injury that has been flaring up more than usual the past few year. I kind of had given up hope on anything actually relieving it. Softwave therapy and Dr. Colgin have changed my life. When I came for my first visit I was experiencing excruciating pain in my right shoulder and had zero range of motion. I just completed 10 sessions of Softwave therapy as well as chiropractic care and the change is remarkable. I noticed more and more improvement after each visit. I have no doubt that it’s because of the Softwave treatment I am able to function and live my life and participate in normal daily activities with ease. Absolutely the best experience in my short 37 years! I had a pulled back for two month, hoping it would self resolve but don’t. Called and set an appointment with Sandi, she was great! Sandi and Dr. Chris are kind people. I've been having pain and swelling in my knee for 6 months. It was pretty frustrating because I tried many different therapies, which didn't help. I found out about Softwave therapy, and bought a package of ten, because I was willing to try anything to find relief. About half way through my package, my swelling improved significantly. We're very fortunate to have found Dr. Chris Colgin on Social Media with particular interest in his Softwave therapy. There are many chiropractors available but this option makes Optimal Health Members above and beyond similar service.

My primary care physician prescribed muscle relaxers and 3 different painkillers for my shoulder, neck, and arm pain. I was bed ridden for nearly a month because my PCP didn't know what to do besides Ultrasound and CT Scans.

100% enjoyed working with Dr. Colgin in Las Vegas. My wife and I stayed in the area for a month and decided to meet with Dr Colgin for Shockwave treatment on my knee, my wife got chiropractic work done and each of us had detailed blood work done. Dr. colgin has helped me tremendously. I had shoulder pain from my previous job and I’ve had it for probably 20 years and didn’t want to get any kind of surgery. Every day I’d have a sore shoulder and if I played golf, I could barely move my arm the next day. On a pain level, It was about an 8 to 10 pretty much the day after I played golf. Now after a few sessions of soft wave therapy my pain level is pretty much zero I play two rounds of golf back to back and my shoulder doesn’t even hurt at all. I came in to see Dr Colgin in April 2025 with a right shoulder injury that I've had for years. I pulled something, don't even know how. Pain level was always at 7 or 8. The MRI was not good. I was getting the pain shot in the shoulder about every 3-4 months to relieve the pain I had, while also taking ibupogen all the time. It was bad. I did this for years. I've done nine soft wave therapy treatments and my level of pain is next to nothing most of the time now. I also have full range of my shoulder. I truly believe this is the way to fix.... not bandage my shoulder like the shot was doing. I no longer go for shots and it's been almost 7 months since my last one.

This has been the best recovery from my serious achilles tendinitis and bone spur, I was having a hard time with flexable and pain level was at about a 8 to 9. I called a couple of times to make an appointment. The one lady was very nice, the other was a little curt. I went to address it but when I walked in, there was this little brown dog who came up to me. I don't have a problem with animal lovers, but, I'm not one of them especially in a doctors office (I don't care what type of doctor)! That is not professional or sanitary. When to see Dr Colgin for my sciatica pain. This after pain management and acupuncture helped, but truthfully only provided temporary relief.

I made my first appointment a little over a month ago after I had a nasty encounter with a treadmill at my gym that cost me two trips to a local hospital that I will not mention. My lower back was hurting so bad and I didn’t want to take meds. My second visit to the same hospital was waste of my time and money. I went in for shoulder pain when lifting and throwing. And was barley able lift my arm over my head. I've had about 4 or 5 shock wave therapy visits now. The Shockwave Therapy I received on my shoulder was nothing short of amazing. I've had daily shoulder pain for over two years and I walked out of the office on the first visit 80% better. My subsequent 3 semi-weekly visits have taken me back to about 96% normal...and I expect it now to easily get back to 100% normal.

I went in with pain to my left side of my neck which was shooting numbness and tingling down to my left side fingers. It was pins and needles for weeks until I came here and got treatment. Melissa, the receptionist, was very helpful in showing me how to fill out the information tablet which I'm not familiar with she was also very informative on the benefits of the service. I have been having stomach issues for 5 years and constant headaches for almost 20 years. Turns out my head just wasn't on straight! I would highly recommend this to everyone that has been struggling with back problems shoulder problems and sciatica! I've had numerous injuries over the years. I was stopped at a light and was ruined by a semi doing 55. I cracked all my teeth dislocated shoulder and fractured my hip. That was the start of my problems! I've had back problems, shoulder and hip problems. In 2015 I had a left brain stem stroke. I couldn't talk right or walk. Since 2015 I've had stem cell injections in the back, to write hip replacements. Numerous injections in the spine as well as nerve ablation in the spine. I've been walking with a cane since 2015. My mind is truly blown. About 2 years ago, I suffered a sports injury in my left shoulder, and it was not healing. I was having so many shoulder issues because of multiple dislocations and lack of strength in my right arm. I could sometimes not take the pain it would numb my hands.
