I went to the office today to get my pre-op tests done. I met with Dr. McGee for over a half hour. He took his time to explain everything to me, the process and recovery. I had my blood work, EKG and chest X-ray done in the office which was super convenient. They are in the process of adding a physical therapy room which will be really nice. It will be a one stop shop with the exception of the surgery. I love the office and all the staff I have had the opportunity to meet. I highly recommend visiting Ortho Nevada!!!

After I heard the loud pop in my elbow and the insane pain that came with it, I knew I was going to need to get it checked.
I found Dr. Roddy McGee and his team, and they seemed to fit the bill.
After meeting with them a couple of times we scheduled the surgery. I knew I made the right choice after I asked him how long the surgery would be.
He said "35 to 65 minutes".
That's what I want in a surgeon. Precision! Not 1/2 hour to an hour. "35 to 65 minutes". Perfect.
After a few appointments I was prepped for the surgery. The surgery went great and I'm on the road to recovery. Everyone in their office is outstanding. Dr. McGee, Jake, Taylor, everyone.

Hello, I had a very strange injury working with my rescue puppy and feels like I tore my bicep muscle. Don't really know for sure and got referred by limitless in a very fast manner.(. It's a great place for PT for injuries to get healed at a fair price w/o r referrals and paying a small amount of cash instead of emptying your bank account) I was there getting some hesling done, trying to get rid of some pain and got over to Dr. Rodney McGee's office , he has a great guy working with him named Jake , who heads up some wonderful treatments that actually can keep you from surgery's ! There getting me in quickly for a MRI to seee what's happening .
The frt desk Sierria was a sweetheart , Then Halley took XRays who was pain free .

From our very first meeting, they were incredibly informative and took the time to explain everything in clear, uncomplicated terms. They walked us through my son’s meniscus injury, the details of the arthroscopic repair surgery, the recovery timeline, and what to expect every step of the way.

Only issue is a text sent me to their old location, 🤦🏻‍♂️ that shouldn’t be a thing. Front Office Staff was very friendly and efficient, x-Ray tech very knowledgeable, little bit of a wait, but 2pm appointments are always going to have some lag, Doctor McGee spent a surprisingly long time listening to my concerns and quickly diagnosed me, got me medicated and referred to a nerve study specialist. Doctor McGee doesn’t come off as a pretentious Doctor as most do, it’s more like a friend who can figure out what’s wrong and get things done. I don’t plan on getting injured at the gym again, but if I do, I know where to go!

P.A. Samantha Laub was awesome in her presentation and delivery of the bad news regarding my hand break. She clearly explained the problem with my hand and the appropriate remedy. She then made phone calls to get me scheduled for a hand surgery with the appropriate doctor ASAP.

The wonderfully nice X-ray technician saved the day by discovering the broken bone with her intuitiveness coupled with her expertise; a unique angle x-ray by her clearly showed the break and made me feel good to know what was causing such pain. Highly recommend this medical office :)

I was here 2 months ago and today was my follow up appointment. I tell you this place is so awesome until i had to do another review! Again the front desk ladies were so nice. Today I saw Samatha Laub and she was just as fantastic as Jake. We talked, I was so comfortable with her. I had more information to share about my health and she had a lot to offer me which was great. Sam told me first but she also asked Riley another precious person in the office to let me know more about what they offered, pricing and finacing options. I just loved the knowledge that I got from both these ladies and it seems that Dr McGee is one that stays up on the latest options for the knees and I'd bet on other parts of the body as well. I learned about a new procedure and I'm going to schedule a appoint to see if I'm a good candidate for the procedure. Maybe I should remain cautiously optimistic. I have been bitterly disappointed before. But I had the PRP procedure done on my knee about 4 weeks ago at Ortho Las Vegas, and my painfull knee has been gradually getting better. After years of utter discomfort.

I was not happy with my service at Ortho Las Vegas. When I arrived, they didnt have my file from my last ortho. Now it could have been my past provider not sending it, but my past provider has been really good about forwarding documents in the past. But it slowed things down by 45 minutes.

Finally I see Dr. Limtong, not impressed. He spent maybe 5 minutes with me, barely looked at my knee and told me he didnt have concerns. I asked about ways to strengthen my quads, he had no answers. I showed him a pretty nasty popping in my knee, he wasn't concerned. He told me he didnt want to waste my money, then went into a sales pitch on a platelet procedure that they could do (4500 bucks, insurance doesnt cover). They also could take stem cells from my marrow in my hip and inject the knee, 12000 bucks (insurance doesnt cover).

Long story short, I wanted a second opinion on my right knee that has had surgery, two injections of cortizone and alot of pain and swelling. Waste of time. 5 minutes with doctor and xrays I am not sure he even looked at. Excited to see what the bill is after insurance. Wouldn't recommend.

I would highly recommend Dr Megee for a knee replacement . I had my first knee replacement surgery 5 years ago ( Standard knee replacement procedure) was way more invasive than the the Jiffy Knee procedure that Dr Megee used on me. The pain level was know where near it was on my first knee replacement. The healing process from the Jiffy Knee Procedure was at least half the time than Standard Knee procedure. Having both procedures done, I highly recommend Dr Megee and the Jiffy Knee procedure, it's not even close to the Standard procedure. Dr Megee and his staff we're professional and very calming.

One star because zero is NOT an option. I paid $3,800.00 for PRP injection in my shoulder in hopes of avoiding surgery due to being a first responder & believing the recovery time to be a lot less than the surgery as dr McGee informed me. Lack of timely follow up from dr McGee & his assistant Riley, he finally informed me that he would do another injection. After further delays in setting up my addition injection appointment & Riley failing to call me back, I had to leave. I have been calling his office in hopes they could refer me to an out of state doctor. No call back! Pain is worse after the injection & I am out of $3,800 with NO relief. It is my hope that if you are considering this doctor or this facility, to strongly consider other options due to the lack of aftercare or timely follow ups.

I was told to come in a half hour early to fill out some forms. When I got there, there were no forms so, I didn’t need to get there that early. I did, and then had to wait 45mins more after my appointment time. The appointment was for 11:00 (10:30). Coming from 80 miles away wasn’t easy. Other than that everyone there was very nice. Dr McGee was very knowledgeable and had a few other options for my issue and was very helpful with my questions in order to make my decisions.

This was my first visit to Ortho Las Vegas. I was seen by Samantha Laub PA-C. The office was very busy which I found to be a good sign. Even though being busy I was not rushed by Samantha or even waited long to be called. After my examine, I was offered a couple of options that would be the best to rectify my injury. I appreciated Samantha wanting to start with the less invasive technique. If this doesn't work, I will go to plan B. I highly recommend Ortho Las Vegas. 05/21/2025 – My first visit to Dr. McGee at Ortho Las Vegas was positive. When I go to a new doctor or clinic I take notice of several things. How I’m greeted is important to me. The staff at the front desk were attentive. The lobby was clean. I waited about 10 minutes in the lobby. The Xray-tech/PA was polite and addressed my concern with X-rays of my elbow. She spoke to Dr. McGee about it, and they resolved the issue. Excellent customer service. The first impression of Dr. McGee was positive. He listened to my story about my elbow then addressed my options in detail. I was satisfied with treatment and additional options if I chose. I was happy with my visit, so I took a chance and asked the doctor about my knee. I didn’t know if he would take the time or ask me to make another appointment to address my knee. However, Dr. McGee said if I wanted to, he would take some X-rays of my knee and review them with me. So that was cool. Turns out he gave me some options for me to try (Plasma Therapy and MLS Laser Treatment) instead of, or put off, a full knee replacement. He’s pretty good at explaining things. I am a happy camper. I would recommend Dr. McGee.

I had an accident and unfortunately ruptured my tendons in both of my knees, I am so grateful that I ended up seeing Dr. McGee as I heard of him from a friend. I found Ortho Las Vegas through an online recommendation, and I’m so glad I did. I brought my son in for a sports-related injury, and from check-in to check-out, we had a phenomenal experience. We were taken back just minutes after arriving, and Dr. McGee saw us as soon as we entered the room. They took x-rays and also performed an ultrasound, and Dr. McGee was incredibly thorough in explaining exactly what he saw and what it meant for my son’s injury. I was a little concerned because I hadn’t transferred my son’s records from his previous sports doctor, but Dr. McGee asked where the MRI was done and quickly pulled the results himself. He laid out a clear treatment plan and immediately sent in a referral for physical therapy. I truly appreciate how efficient, professional, and compassionate everyone was throughout the visit. I was referred to Dr. McGee for surgery on both shoulders. I was in a lot of pain from both rotator cuffs torn. Dr.McGee explained the procedure thoroughly and explained recovery time, to repair the other shoulder. Which eased my nerves quite well. Dr.McGee did a great job scars are minimal. Unfortunately I reinjured one of my shoulders again. I'm hoping that Dr.McGee can do the surgery. Or refer me to another orthopedic who takes my insurance since he no longer is taking Medicaid. I went to Dr. McGee for an issue with my right shoulder. I was expecting him to say I needed tests to figure out what was going on.

After we went over my shoulder issue history he did an exam and came to the conclusion that the severe pain I was experiencing seemed to be due to my bicep muscle. He did a nerve block with cortisone injectuon during my first appointment. I didn't have to leave in pain to come back another day for the injection.

I've had many cortisone injections and nerve blocks in my life and the one Dr. McGee did was one of the easiest and minimally painful one I've ever had. I noticed instant relief but he had me sit for a short time to given the medication time to really sink in. It helped! I'm still sore which is normal but I'm hopeful I'm on the mend. Dr. McGee said if the injection doesn't end up helping to come back in and we'll decide our next steps.

Its really refreshing in this day and age of healthcare to have a doctor the actually does something. He didn't throw pills at me or say let's try PT. He helped with the sever pain I was in at my very first visit.

I'm highly recommending Dr. McGee and his incredible team of PAs and nursing staff. They made my entire visit very pleasant.

I had a right knee replacement done on March 4th two days after my 75th birthday! I have been a patient of Ortho Las Vegas for about a year. I was originally treated by Samantha for shoulder pain. I was given a steroid injection with full explanation and had excellent results. I have been really satisfied with all the staff from the front desk to Samantha, Kristen, Jake and Dr McGee. When my knee pain was not going to get better, I discussed knee replacement with Jake. He explained the procedure Dr McGee does for knee replacements and eased my fears of recovery time and pain. I am six weeks post op and feel pretty much 100 percent. I have no pain walking and returned to all my daily routines. I only used a walker the first day after surgery. After that I have been walking with no assistance. I am so happy I had the procedure and would tell anyone Dr McGee and all his staff are the Best!!

Dr. McGee is a very good Orthopedic doctor who specializes in shoulders and knees. The new office is more centrally located on Tropicana east of Fort Apache.
Dr. McGee as usual diagnosed my pain and found a couple of small tears on my rotator cuff & bicep. The surgical procedure was done in a timely manner with great results. Physical therapy was used to expedite my recovery and 3 1/2 months later I'm playing golf again. I'm also hitting the ball farther.

And they told me my insurance wasn't accepted so then they charged me $130 out of pocket expenses!! The staff was very professional and answered all of the questions I had. Dr. McGee is very easy to talk to and makes you feel very relaxed. He answered all of my questions and when we were done he told me that when I have more questions, write them down and he will answer them next time. I was going to have McGee do my surgery about 8 years ago but decided to push the surgery out as far as my knee would let me go. My knee as run its course and I am even more comfortable now having McGee perform my knee replacement with the Jiffy-knee surgery technique. I would recommend people go see McGee for any issue they have with their joints.

I had my TKR on June 19th and it is now August, 7, which is 7 weeks since having the surgery. I have full range of motion for my left knee and I am squatting 135 lbs. I am still healing from the surgery which is to be expected but the daily pain I was feeling before surgery from every step I took is gone. I wish I would have done this so much sooner and can not believe I put myself thru so much pain by putting this procedure off. I believe that by having the Jiffy knee procedure I am able to recuperate much faster than the traditional knee replacement surgery. I am very thankful to Dr. McGee for the wonderful work he did. If you are putting off your TKR, did minorities any longer, get the Jiffy Knee and within weeks you will be getting back to your normal activities.

This was simply too easy. Made the initial appointment on Friday for the following Monday morning. Getting an initial appointment that quickly is very difficult, if not impossible to do in this local area. The entire process with Ortho of Las Vegas has been an amazing experience! From the moment I first called and getting an appointment the next morning, followed by an MRI through referral that afternoon, the process was seamless. I was informed two days later that I had a 100% tear in the PCL and was scheduled for surgery the next week. Dr. McGee and his staff were phenomenal from the days leading up to the procedure and continue to be throughout the entire process. I just had a 6 week checkup and everything is going great. They have done all of the coordinating with the pharmacy as well as my physical therapists making the recovery process less cumbersome on my end. They even gave me an awesome shirt!!!! Highly recommend!

Sam, the PA; Ashley, in scheduling are top of their game.. Sam is understanding, patient, knowledgeable and has always gone the extra mile. Ashley was not only to make an MRI appointment for me within a week, she went even further and was actually able to schedule BOTH MRI’s the same day; which is unheard of.

I had Dr McGee operate on my right torn bicep a year ago, and it’s back to 110%.

Unfortunately, two new issues have came up, and while my GP sent a referral to another office (which was scheduled in October), I happened to call the office here, and was remembered and able to get in the following day!

I only went in for a consultation on a workplace injury, but it was incredible how fast I was seen and I was pleasantly surprised by how kind everyone was. My advisor Jake Bendicion was very polite and upfront and he took my concerns seriously, answering the questions I had. And the receptionist (I didn’t catch her name, but she was a slim younger looking woman) was quick to help me fill out my forms and helped me with my work note. Doctor Roddy McGee provided me Platelet-rich plasma injections and 12 laser therapies to both elbows. After 8 weeks, I experience no more pain. The stem cell PRP has not reach it full potential for healing. According to Dr. McGee there will be more months to come for better results than current elbow health. Dr. McGee is very caring, very motivated, and very skilled orthopedic medicine physician. He unselfishly help me with comprehensive advice, history/insights, and laser therapy for Morton Neuroma (right foot). I believe his fee is reasonable. My experience with Ortho Las Vegas and Dr. McGee has been one of the most positive physician treatments I have ever received. From the ease of scheduling to the flexibility and accommodating nature of the office, the staff ensures that you are seen quickly and are not left in the waiting room. With each visit the doctor has been on time for my scheduled appointment. The staff truly cares about you and even did several follow up calls to ensure my scans and bloodwork were completed and submitted on time as to not delay my procedure. From the time I walked in the door. The first thing I notice was how clean the office was. The patient was very welcoming. As you approach the From desk you are greeted with this beautiful smile. I had been in severe knee pain for 6 weeks, 6/10. My ortho did not hear me, the pain meds from pain management didn’t work. I was so desperate & crying in pain, unable to hardly walk. From the moment I stepped into the front office, everyone was so nice! The PA, Jake, was an angel! He took x-rays & an ultrasound. He drained fluid from my knee, put steroid in it & everyone in back office made me feel comfortable. Within just a few minutes, I was feeling so much better, like 4 out of 10. Two days later, it’s like 1-2/10. I’m thanking God for answered prayers & Kudos to this incredible staff!!

Got injured during evening of 4/24, went to ER and could not get consult with ER's recommended ortho for 6 days. Due to concerns with waiting, I reached out to a trusted medical provider who recommended I see Dr McGee. Got an appointment morning of 4/26 with Jake, a physician assistant. Everyone was friendly and efficient but not rushed. Many staff were helpful in getting initial consult, MRI, results review and surgery scheduled within 3 business days! So far, so good and am hopeful for continued positive experience. Feeling well taken care of so far!

Have breaks in both knees & meniscus tears in left one also. DR. McGee & his assistants are doing a wonderful job helping me heal. Recently my left knee was acting "funny" and it suddenly just dropped under me, I called they got me in for an appointment within less than a week & did an evaluation, sent the request for MRI to the hospital that I get them done in, on the day of my visit, the hospital called to get me an appointment before I even got home, I called them back & I have an appointment for day after my Dr visit, I live in Pahrump, this usually takes a few weeks even coming from Dr's in Pahrump. So my care can be weeks to months ahead of others. I believe it is because of the exceptional help & Dr's, in the office.
I have used him for about 4 years.
I had to fix the shoulder rotocuff on both shoulders & they have both healed up & I have full range of motion & use of both with no pain.

Dr McGee is great at what he does. Staff set up an apt for an MRI. Set up wrong apt, could not be seen. Had to juggle my day around for no reason and travel an hour round trip. My son was not able to be seen for his issue. When I called the office was given an attitude when I asked what was going on with the apt. 3 star only because I feel Dr Mcgee is good at what he does but unhappy with my experience.

Made appt following mri of r shoulder showing partial rotator cuff tear. Jake explained the PRP procedure and benefits. He is very knowledgeable, personable, and inspires confidence. Dr. Jake Bendicion was extremely patient and empathetic to my story. I could tell within a few minutes his priority is understanding his patients and explaining to them the treatments options. To put it plainly I left hopeful and haven’t felt that way with my Achilles tendinosis in months.
