Hey there, just wanted to share with you all my experience with PDS Medical Group. What a breath of fresh air these ladies were. I was previously going to forte medical group and these two offices are a night and day difference. I highly recommend them for all your medical needs. 06/15/26- Omg this office truly cares about their patients and well-being.
Alyssa, Merlaina, and Ayasha worked wonders and made me feel comfortable about myself. Judgement free and caring which is rare to find in Vegas for doctor offices. They took me in last minute and guided me with problems I am currently facing. I recommend all of Vegas to book their healthcare here.

07/02/26- Follow up appointment with PCP Allie Isip. SENSATIONAL DOCTOR with PERFECT staffing. Lab orders are submitted electronically to labs. Prescriptions are made with detailed information on how to be taken. Staff is kind and genuine. Easy to call, make appointments, reschedule appointments, and make a way that fits YOU’RE schedule. I had problems with some claims and the staffing took their time to figure things out. IF THERE IS A WILL THERE IS A WAY.
I recommend anyone looking to better their health to book a visit:)

has a wonderful bedside manner. She asked questions that were pertinent to the most recent information in my chart as well as following with questions for my current health updates and has a really engaging personality which made me feel heard.

CSR Aisha at the front desk:
is always thorough with scheduling follow up appts, assisting with lab appointments when I am checking in and out and always has a smile for me.

MA Merleyna:
is a truly wonderful medical assistant. She is thorough in taking readings and gaining information about current issues I may be experiencing while also ensuring I'm comfortable and ready for my APN appt. I'm honestly not sure how she does it but her inner warmth comes across each time and I feel cared for which eases any nervousness I tend to be feel when visiting the doctor.

How can it be that an office can take all your information, have a medical assistant talk to you on the phone, schedule and appointment with multiple points of contact after the fact, and you only let the patient know you don't take their insurance when they arrive the day of? I came here to my PCP with and explained I had chest pain every time I breathe. The physician thought it was a heart problem and ran an EKG, but I had to insist multiple times that I thought it was the lungs.

When she listened to my breathing she did not notice that my right lung had completely collapsed. I got an X-Ray a day later because they told me to schedule an appointment, thinking it was something minor.

Turns out, my right lung was completely collapsed and she did not hear it. I could have died unless I was proactive enough to insist on a chest X-Ray and reiterate that my lungs were bothering me. When I called from the hospital she responded with "Well, you have 2 lungs, right?"

I started going to Durango Health Group (name apparently changing to PDS Medical Group) when it first opened. I had nothing but positive experiences, until sometime in 2018/2019 when I struggled with fatigue due to thyroid issues and was diagnosed with ADHD elsewhere and wanted to seek out new options for treating my fatigue. I was seeing an NP who was lovely at the time at Durango, but only MDs can prescribe stimulant class drugs (used for ADHD) and others like armodafinil/modafinil which I had also considered at the time.

I was told to try seeing the MD at their Henderson location. I scheduled with them, and the day before my appointment I was called by a weirdly aggressive receptionist who told me I couldn't come in until I paid an overdue balance. I didn't understand; I had insurance and at no point had anyone told me, insurance or clinic, that the clinic was no longer under my network. I refused to pay the bill, which was hundreds of dollars; they had been billing and being rejected by my insurance for months and still had me come in for appointments multiple times during my health crisis, with zero communication about the accruing balance. I made it clear that I wouldn't pay it, and switched providers.

At some point, between then and now, they sent the balance to collections. I am now being harassed about a completely invalid medical debt. Had they told me after my first appointment with them that my insurance no longer accepted them, I could have paid out of pocket and sought other care. Instead, they didn't communicate with me until the balance had reached hundreds of dollars and then they denied me necessary medical care unless I paid it. I'm still dealing with the medical consequences of the lapse in health care caused by that situation to this day, and to be harassed by collections in 2025 for their incompetence (or worse, intentional deception) years ago is unreal.

Ayesha was rude from the minute I jumped on my call with her. She told me she didn’t want to look through her faxes for something I sent over yesterday and to just refax it since I didn’t know what time I sent it the day prior, when I gave her a time she still wanted me to refax because she didn’t want to look through the faxes. Went to their office 2 years ago and was seeing Lori Koehler. I was advised to see her and she would help me. I was having a bad experience with my medication and was not doing too well. I tried calling their office and messaging on their app with no replies. It took a few weeks and then I got a reply on the app from the doctor telling me to stay on the medication and I should be fine. I was surprised for her simple response and not fix on my situation. So I quit the medication. Shortly after she was transfered to the Durango office, so I followed her. I saw her once and then my next appointment no one notified me that she was no longer with the office. My doctor from another office stated she was fired. I can see why.

I was recently notified after 2 years that co payments from both offices were sent to our debit account. We have been trying to contact them now going on 2 weeks that we have moved from that state and no longer have that debit account. The only people we get is the answering service. Today we were told even they can't get a hold of their office. What a joke! So if someone sees this message, CHECK YOUR MESSAGES! AND CALL US BACK! Just ridiculous!

I'm so conflicted with writing this review. My experience at the clinic itself was great. My provider is knowledgeable and the staff in the clinic are friendly. My struggles with this clinic is after the fact. They're so hard to contact via phone.

I ALWAYS end up getting the reception line no matter what option I choose and the best they can do is leave a message and I don't always get a reply back which has me attempting to contact the office via phone again. It's honestly draining, but I don't want to resort to making an appointment just to be able to get in touch with someone.

I began as a patient at this practice a year ago. Although the front desk employees were rude and unprofessional, I kept coming back because I liked the NP, Sara Shah. Each time I came back they would tell me I owed an extra $2-$3 for the last visit even though I’d paid the entire copay each time. Suddenly, without warning, Sara left and the place shut down “temporarily “. They never notified patients, so when I needed a referral and prescription refills I couldn’t get them. I was reassigned to NP Carol Wingfield and was told by the manager that she is awesome. She is not! She claims to want to know her patients and that she wants her patients to feel heard. This is absolutely NOT true! She’s patronizing and made me feel uncomfortable. And how can she possibly claim to want to make her patients feel heard when she cuts you off in a middle of a sentence repeatedly? They could not refill my prescription for Gabapentin unless I came in and saw my provider, so I made the appointment. Found out that Carol does not have the right qualifications to write an Rx for that drug! Wasted trip! And why did they make the appointment knowing she was unqualified to write the Rx? She told me I would have to return to next day to see a different provider and would have to pay another copay. She also told me that I owed a couple of dollars from a previous visit. I think someone in that office is skimming $$ and pocketing it. Imagine? A couple of bucks from every patient every day-that adds up to quite a lot. Well, miraculously, the Gabapentin Rx got sent to my pharmacy without me having to come in again. However, the referral for physical therapy that I was promised never came through. Then the referral person today calls and tells me he’s placed a referral for a neurologist! What? Why? I told him I have no need of a neurologist and Carol never even discussed this with me. He said he would have her call me back today to explain. She called me late in the day, after 5 and all she did was continuously cut me off mid-sentence, patronize me, and end the call. This practice needs to be investigated. I know I’m not the only one who’s had these kind of problems. The bad reviews about them are all over the internet. I can only imagine that the few good reviews are fakes designed to raise to raise their star ratings. She claimed she sent me a message explaining why she referred me to a neurologist. This is absolutely not true! When she didn’t like hearing some home truths, she just talked over me some more and then ended the call! I will be searching for a new provider, which is something else she told me to do. Customer service? This place can’t SPELL customer service, much less provide it!

So sick and tired of medical care in Nevada in general. I finally found a provider that I liked, Sara Shah. Last time I saw her was in May, 2023. When I went online to get their number because they weren’t responding to another provider for a referral, I discovered that the practice was “temporarily” shut down. Patients were never given the courtesy of being told this. When I needed a refill, my pharmacy couldn’t get anyone there to respond. So I called again to be told that NP Shah is no longer with the office and there have been a lot of “moving parts” to make the practice better. How about keeping your patients in the loop? I think I will become a “moving part” and go elsewhere-some place where my business is appreciated, if trust actually exists in Las Vegas!

This is the worst doctors office i have ever been to. Follow-ups are non-existent. Referrals take months because of the excuse that "someone" has been out sick, and some one is now filling in after 5 emails and drop ins asking what is going on. I have never once seen the same doctor in the 1.5 years i have been going there. The doctor turnover rate is worse than that of a cook at Taco Bell.

It brought my 16 year old daughter here to see Mia McCallum-Crawford on June 1, 2022 with concerns of her ability to focus and concentrate and in general not feeling well or sleeping well. She constantly felt tired. I was told that they did not do general blood work for anything like that for teens. Even though I requested it stating there had to be something wrong possibly with her level of nutrients. They refused. 8 months later I took her to see another doctor. This AMAZING doctor listened and did a complete blood panel on her. We found out that my daughter had severe anemia! She then went the following week every other day for an iron transfusions! A total of 5. Thankful I Was recommended to a doctor actually listens to the patient. Realizing they know their own bodies and when something's not right. Therefore, I would NOT recommend Durango medical group at all!

I am new to the area and have been to Durango Health Group 3 times. Every time I was told that my follow up would be with a different NP. They can not seem to keep help. Also, I had a yearly exam on my last visit. The exam lasted about 3 minutes. I was fully clothed and many items were not examined, mentioned or questioned. I saw a dermatologist at the request of a previous doctor last year but the NP never even had me remove my shirt for a look. Im now looking for a more thorough and consistent doctor or NP. UPDATE: things just get worse with this clinic. They changed my appointment time 3 times, different doctors. After complaining to the office manager and telling her that I should find another office, she took it upon herself to cancelled my appointment without informing me. Very professional. by far the worst experience I have ever had with a clinic. Maybe thats why they are not Doctors.

Worst ever. They treat patients like they are an inconvenience. My wife injured her back and needed time off work. Durango charged her $150 to fill out a one page form to fax to her employer. It took 8 days and four phone calls before it was sent. They require patients to wear masks but the office staff does not. Their phones are answered by people not at the office that have no access to records or info or to talk to anyone at the office. Unprofessional to say the least. We had to switch doctors.

The practitioners themselves are actually OK. It's the office staff and surrounding peripherals of running a business that are lacking. Poor communication with the patient, numerous mistakes, lack of internal communication between staff members, mistakes in prescriptions, mistakes in billing usually costing the patient expensive un-necessary costs, the worst in customer service. I scheduled an appointment because I had a cough. After writing all the forms they told me I would need a negative PCR test 24h before they could see me as per their policy.

What is the point of having a health clinic if you turn away people with a cough? At least request the test beforehand, dont make me waste a week waiting for the appointment.

Excellent office. The admin staff is always helpful (especially Alaya!) , their communication is great and seeing a provider is never a hassle. These are fake positive posts in the last two weeks because they are trying to offset the negative (honest) reviews. They notoriously treat their patients poorly. The office is poorly run. You can't get a person on the phone. They don't care about their patients, they care about billing insurance companies. If you need your prescription you will need to ask a dozen times because they don't care. They don't respond to their messages.

Durango dental team has a very fun and light atmosphere Ryan the D.A and Dr Kwok both have the most fun personalities they know how to keep you laughing and the process of getting a root canal and filling / with crown were super simplistic and they make sure you don't experience pain. 💞 Dr. Kwok and Assistant Layla are so sweet and good at their jobs. I went in with severe pain and needed a root cannal done. It was LEGITNESS!!! No pain felt even as I was getting the numbing shots. Seemed like there was no wasted movement at all. Nothing
like a great visit at the dentist's office being treated by two beautiful women who are experts at their job!

This office is a joke. They refuse to bill insurance correctly, which costs the patient more money. They send scripts incorrectly so insurance won't cover, and then refuse to correct the scripts. They state I am over due for a 6 month follow up, but I saw them 3 months ago. Stay FAR away from this practice, as I promise you the patients well being is not their primary concern. Edited to add, in response to the owners comment...I have already called the office several times BEFORE posting the review to try and rectify the issues. You refused. So don't try to post a nice sounding comment now making it look as if you care to try and help.

I’ve been going to Durango Dental for years, and have always loved them!
I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have a Health care side too.
I was treated just as amazing at the Health Care side, as the Dental side!
(I’m a bit of a character, so dealing with me can sometimes be a handful)
However, they are just as funny, and sarcastic as I am. So if I die here, it will be from laughter.
Oh ya… they also got me in right away… so I’m in no fear of dying soon, so that’s good!!!

Dr. Darryle Horton and the staff did an awesome job. Dr. was really personable, experienced, and informed. Was 100% on point about the recovered skin infection as well. They were also open on a Saturday as well which is a big plus.
