I want to again thank everyone at the Valle Verde Pearle Vision location for taking care of me and treating me with amazing care. Well not to happy , right at the front desk the lady asked me for my ID and my ID medical insurance , then like 4-5 people assisted me and I think is their responsibility give you ur ID’s back in ur hands!! So my appointment was at 4:20 pm , I was done and I left and 20 minutes later when I was opening my gate door for my house the lady called me and tell me that I forgot my ID’s !!! When is their fault bcz they never gave me back those papers!! . And to have the nerve to twist it and said that I forgot!!?!?!?!.. So NOT I’m not happy it all!! It was 5:30 pm they close at 6 pm so I had to rush to get there and be there before 6 pm and a lot gas that it’s so expensive now!! So my time my gas and pretending was my fault!! Oh No no no !!

Everything about my experience with the eye doctor was great, and the staff was friendly and professional. My only complaint was the wait time. I waited about an hour and a 20 minutes for my appointment, which was frustrating, especially since I wasn’t notified ahead of time that there would be such a long delay.

This place has lost the customer service attribute. The Dr. jones, related to the founder, has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Been coming here for 20 years. I wasn’t going to come back, but I decided to try one last time. I did not have a good experience the last time I was there with Dr. Jones and of course she was the doctor today so I decided to let her know how I felt about the last time I was with her and to my surprise she said she felt offended by what I said that’s what I’m talking about makes it about her and not the customer a joke. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. This place is not what it used to be and that’s sad. Wow, the customer service at this clinic was absolutely incredible and restored my faith in humanity. I was dealing with a major emergency. My boyfriend is a Las Vegas professional performer that works with fire. He accidentally ripped his last pair of contact lenses right before he had to go into work he blind as a bat without his context or glasses and can’t wear his glasses during the show. He’s not even a client at Pearle vision he does target optical, but they gave us an emergency sample. I didn’t have to pay for it and the front desk people and the doctor use teamwork to make sure we were taken care of and it absolutely made my day and wow seriously such great people. We should probably switch over to them now that was amazing. Thank you so much to the team at Pearle vision you guys really helped us out today.

I can only speak about 1 person who was absolutely horrible. He lied and got mad when he got caught in his lie and dismissed me for some lenses that I needed for my glasses. The lady in the front desk was great so I have nothing to say about her but the guy named Estee was horrible. He tried to get me to buy other types of lenses and didn't even tell me about my regular copay and when I went back because I got the information he was already mad. He didn't want to get my lenses for my glasses. I will never ever come back to this Pearle vision again.

I’ve come to this location for my last couple eye exams and for the most part the customer service leaves much to be desired. There was only one nice person who helped me at checkout, hence an extra star.

From start to finish, it seems like most of the people there hate what they’re doing. The assistant that performs my exams was rude up until the point where she tried to sell me contacts..she was suddenly bright and chipper when prices were on the screen. Well, newsflash. That’s why I made this appointment. So her poor selling skills did nothing for me. Then I had the displeasure of having Dr. Jones as an optometrist and she always walks into the room and doesn’t even care to look at her patients, is judgmental, and self centered. When it was time to checkout, the guy that helped me was very kind and respectful. When I had asked for a copy of my prescription, though (of course) Dr. Jones was lollygagging and nowhere to be found so I sat there waiting way longer than I should have. I get there are other patients, but her behavior combined with the wait was not helpful. I haven’t checked my patient portal but I’m hoping it’s there like promised before I left. I’ve never been to an optometrist office before this where the optometrist didn’t already give me a copy of everything before checkout. Not sure if it’s from pure laziness or disrespect towards me. I’ve also never walked out of an eye exam without a mini kit with contact lense solution and a case, I had to ask for one today and thankfully the guy at the front was able to give me one. Terrible back office staff, good front office staff.

If my insurance had taken LensCrafters, I would have gone there instead. I can’t speak for other Pearle Vision locations but I will definitely not be returning to this location for my glasses purchase.

Had a very bad expirience here . Everything that could go wrong went wrong . I scheduled an eye exam and specifically told the scheduler that I need an exam for contacts and contact prescription. I was quoted a price for that . After I came to my appointment they told me they don’t know who gave me the price over the phone and told me it will be much higher number . Since I already was there and needed new contacts I agreed . After appointment I went to order the contacts and the price was higher then the price they gave me just 30 min ago before the appointment . So they upped the price 3 times during the same appointment . The optometrist I saw told me she thinks I have a cataract and need to have additional testing . I ended up going to see ophthalmologist, medical doctor in the different office who was very surprised by this diagnosis and told me nothing is wrong with my eyes . Optometrist at pearl vision also insisted that I need a tester contacts before she will order me the ones I need , despite the fact that I told her I have been wearing the same brand of contacts for 20 years and showed her picture of the box to make sure . When the tester contacts arrived , and I came for the fitting , it was a completely different brand of contacts , and different number from what I needed as well . When I pointed out this fact to the optometrist she became very snappy and rude . And then she said she will reorder and sent me out to the lobby where I was quoted another even higher price for a different brand of contacts now ! At this point I just walked out and went to a different optometrist where I had to do another exam but it was fast , inexpensive and I got my new contacts in a couple of days without any problem . Go somewhere else for your prescriptions .

The young lady who administered the machines during testing caused me to question whether I would come back in the future. She asked if I had any issues and I preceded to tell her after my cataract surgery on both of my eyes two years and that the new glasses Pearle had set me up with I was having trouble with reading. Not more than two minutes later she asked me if I have ever had cataract surgery! My response was I just told you that. There were further issues with her on other things where she showed me her listening skills are very poor or she just doesn’t care. After she was done with me, the rest of the time at Pearle went great.

Took 3+ weeks to get my sunglasses back and the lens was not fitted properly and a piece of glass was protruding and they prescription was not made correctly. The PD was way off and was seeing crossed eyed. They have to send them back out and better not take another 3 weeks. Last time it only took 1 week when I originally received my RX 2 years ago.

Update, took 7 weeks and 2 returns with a 3rd on the way. Sunglasses still are not right. I'm new to wearing glasses so explaining is tough but it's like I'm still seeing crossed eyed. If I push the glasses all the way kissing my eyes it's a little better. To top it off the lenses that did work we're tossed and now I don't have anything that works. To pay the amount of money on top of insurance and still can't get my glasses right is extremely annoying. I'll go to Walmart if I have to.

If I could give zero stars, I would. First, I want to mention that my sons and I have been visiting this specific location for many years without any problems. A couple of years ago, we went in for a routine annual examination. My oldest son is on the spectrum and usually prefers to get the same pair of glasses each year. When we returned to pick up the new glasses and ensure they fit, my son pointed out that these didn’t have a prescription in them. I asked him what he meant, and he explained that these were just clear lenses. I then informed the office manager, who laughed and said that was impossible. I urged her to check for herself, and after making rude gestures and comments, she realized my son was correct. This entire situation made us very uncomfortable, and as a protective mother, I defended my son. At that moment, the company chose to discharge us from that location instead of taking appropriate measures to resolve the issue and address their manager's behavior. It is unacceptable to mock a disabled child or anyone else, and it is appalling that the company felt it necessary to discharge us as patients.

I’ve been going to Pearle Vision for over 6 years. I took my mother and son for the first time and they both had a great experience. It was my son’s first exam so he was excited and was happy he had a lot of frames to choose from. My mother will now keep going to pearls vision . Thanks doctors and team .

The staff is just wonderful! I picked up 4 pairs of glasses that I had ordered. One needed adjustment and the computer glasses were done incorrectly. The doctor wrote the incorrect prescription so they will be calling me back to correct the issue. I was very clear in detailed during my exam plus I even brought my computer glasses for her to see. Hopefully this doesn’t turn into an issue. Thanks

Great experience, 2nd time at this location.
They do a really good job checking your eye health, it’s not just a quick and basic eye exam. Wouldn't dream about going anywhere else ever again! The best staff and eye doctors, everyone working here is so friendly, they let me take my time looking at frames were really patient and helpful. Highly recommend!

Awesome experience. The entire staff was excellent. They are professionals and are really good at what they do. I was very impressed by how well the staff worked together as a team. The whole process was very efficient. I did my eye exam and had my new glasses within 3 hours. *Updated review, 1/21/26* Went back to Pearle Vision even though they don't accept my insurance, I would rather pay out of pocket to go to Pearle Vision than anywhere else. Other places just don't have the level of customer service that Pearle Vision has. Pearle Vision is the best. I walked out of there paying less than $200 for an eye exam and new glasses. Pearle Vision is the best.
