Everything went really well but the main reason I gave one star is because they said they took my medical and it was suppose to be covered but then I get billed for $200 because it was “out of network”. It would have been nice if they told me that before I went in. And like how is it out of network when I have PPO? Medical and the unqualified billing personnel are the worst in Nevada!

Unprofessional and Zero Compassion!
I would give zero stars if I could. After showing up on time for my appointment, I was told the doctor refused to see me because my new patient paperwork wasn't finished the second I walked through the door.
To top it off, because I had rescheduled twice previously, the office informed me that the doctor is now refusing to see me ever again.
Life happens, and sometimes schedules have to shift. But to permanently ban a patient because of a few reschedules and a few minutes of paperwork is an extreme, cold, and unprofessional way to run a practice. There is zero flexibility and zero care for the patient here. If you want a doctor who actually wants to help people rather than find excuses to kick them out of the clinic, go somewhere else.

This office was very professional. The medical assistant was super sweet and made me feel really comfortable. The doctor here is amazing! She answered all questions and concerns I had. She went above and beyond to also answer questions about their MedSpa treatment. I was able to address my OBGYN needs and any questions about other treatments they offer here. Last year I left a 1 star review about the front desk staff, while clearly stating that I was satisfied with Dr. Jawadi’s medical care.

When I called this year to schedule my annual appointment, I was told that Dr. Jawadi wanted to know if I still wished to make an appointment because of the 1 star review I had left about the office staff.

This was very uncomfortable and unprofessional. It gave me the impression that patient feedback may influence how returning patients are treated. I did not leave a negative review about Dr. Jawadi’s medical care, only about the office experience.

If feedback about office staff results in being confronted when trying to schedule care, that raises serious concerns about how this practice handles patient criticism.

Patients should be able to share honest feedback without being questioned or singled out later. This office clearly does not operate that way. Be aware.

Dr. Jawadi was very good, but the staff did not make me feel welcome. From my very first call with someone named Melisa to schedule an appointment, she never followed up on my requests or responded nicely. I was surprised that I decided to keep my appointment at this office because I had read good reviews about Dr. Jawadi. I thought I could overlook the unpleasant experience I had while scheduling, but when I arrived for my appointment, I encountered another unwelcoming staff member at the front desk. I couldn’t tell if she was the same person as Melisa.

Also, the checkout process was confusing and unpleasant. While I was happy with Dr. Jawadi's care, I hope she will work at a different office in the future so that I can have my appointments elsewhere.

Last year I left a 1 star review about the front desk staff, while clearly stating that I was very happy with Dr. Jawadi’s medical care.

This year I called to schedule my annual appointment. The same staff member informed me that Dr. Jawadi wanted to know if I still wished to make an appointment since I had left a 1 star review about the office.

I found this extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. Reviews are meant to provide honest feedback about patient experience. They should not be used to question or challenge a returning patient when they are simply trying to schedule care.

If Dr. Jawadi did in fact ask her staff to raise this issue during scheduling, that is very disappointing and unprofessional. Patients should feel safe giving feedback without concern that it will affect future treatment or how they are received by the office.

Expressed how I didn't enjoy my last visit (because the front desk people look depressed 24/7 and the doctor takes 20+ minutes to see you and essentially told me to find another OB. The office isn't friendly and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The doctor isn't welcoming, the staff aren't welcoming, and the last thing anyone needs when doing something vulnerable like this is for everyone around you to look like they hate their lives. Even if you do don't bring that to work. It's no one's problem. Thought I had PCOS and so did the doctor. She sends me off to get work done. Come back to discuss results and makes it seem like my concern for potentially having PCOS was unfounded despite neither of us having results when I brought this up to her. Before I even got results, she just casually told me that what I was experiencing sounded like a miscarriage. You don't tell that to someone casually. It's not that hard to have some decency. Doctor makes you feel like another number.

This is by far the best Gynecologist I have ever been to in my 46 yrs. I have had a cyst removed by one doctor and a Hysterectomy by another as well as had numerous doctors over the years. I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment regarding my experience at your office.

I had an appointment scheduled with at 1:30 PM. I arrived at 1:20 PM, only to be told by the receptionist that I was a “no show” because my appointment was allegedly at 1:00 PM. I respectfully informed her that I had been told 1:30 PM, but instead of assisting me, she rolled her eyes and responded rudely. When I asked if I could still see the doctor or what the next steps were, she curtly said, “I don’t know,” and later told me the doctor was already gone for the day.

I found her attitude dismissive, unprofessional, and unacceptable. I understand that scheduling mistakes can happen, but patients should be treated with courtesy and respect regardless of the circumstances.

Never once have I had an issue with my insurance. My insurance has been recently ran through the hospital and primary care which my husband is a primary holder. The office girl explained that they can not use my insurance since my name is not on the card, my insurance only sends the card with the primary holders name! It’s absolutely ridiculous! Then to tell me I’m not understanding what she is saying, I do understand, don’t talk down to others when you don’t want to take the extra steps to verify the insurance!

Well, the true test of a good doctor comes not necessarily when you pop in for wellness checkups but when you have a problem. I suddenly developed a couple small cysts in the vaginal area. and saw Dr. Jawadi for an exam and hopefully to remove them. She removed the larger one, sent it to a lab for analysis then went on vacation. About a week later I got a call from one of her assistants informing me that I had Lichen Scleroses, a common problem she emphasized especially with women over 50. She told me to apply a steroid cream which she was prescribing twice a day and that this was something I’d need to do for life or I could get cancer. Seeing that Dr. Jawadi was away and that I needed to know more, I did what anyone might do in this day and age, I Googled the diagnosis for more information. I learned that there is a laser treatment available and that I might be able to control the symptoms with a special diet. Here’s what happened next in a nutshell.
- asked the office for a urine test to see if I could control the symptoms with my diet. They weren’t the most accommodating.
-saw Dr. Jawadi two weeks after her vacation and was shocked that she didn’t want to examine me.
She even seemed annoyed over my Google search on my diagnosis and with my insistence to get a urine test
-she simply reiterated to apply the steroid cream twice a day for life or I could contract cancer and did not seem concerned with my continued open wound sore site after she removed the ‘cyst’. She originally told me it would be healed in 3-4 days. Not the case and yet she was adamant about not wanting to reexamine the area. I felt written off!
- I sought a new OB-GYN, Dr. Anita Gondy, who is a few years away from retirement with far more experience with my diagnosis than Dr. Jawadi. Dr. Jawadi never informed me of any other options to treat my condition. She also seemed annoyed with my Google research. When I informed her about a possible laser treatment, all that she could say was “well you can see that we don’t have room for a laser machine”.
-turns out Dr. Gondy said that not only was I misdiagnosed, I do not have lichen scoliosis but that the steroid cream Dr.Jawadi prescribed was keeping me from healing with her cyst removal. Even more importantly, Dr.Jawadi had prescribed an estrogen med for vaginal dryness to be taken twice weekly two years prior. Dr. Gondy and her large experienced practice was shocked to hear that a progesterone supplement was not also given after at least 6 months of estrogen use. Without progesterone accompanying the estrogen, strong science statistics show that there's a high risk of cancer developing. I had been without the progesterone supplement for close to two years under Dr. Jawadi’s care!

Dr. Hayat Jawadi’s Ob-Gyn and Med Spa practice might be ok if you have no issues and just need a general exam but honestly, I wouldn't risk going there for even that.

I have to say it’s always pleasant visiting the OBGYN here. I used to hate going to other offices for this check up stuff but now that I have found this office I’m very pleased. It’s clean and cute. I actually was 45 minutes late for my last appointment because I thought it was at 11:15 and it was actually at 10am, and they still squeezed me in and just had to wait like 6 minutes and was in and out without any fuse from the staff for my mistake. So I encourage anyone who just hates going to the OBGYN to check out this place. You can even get botox and fillers while there. Just a great place to visit. First I would like to say that my review has nothing to do with Dr. Jawadi because I never got a chance to see her.
I googled OBGYNs in my zip code that took my insurance (Aetna) and Dr. Jawadi’s office came up and she had quite a lot of good reviews. I doubled checked under insurances that they take and saw that mine was listed.
I recently wanted to start seeing an OBGYN yearly because my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer and wanted to be more on top of my Pap smears.
I called and her next soonest appointment was 2 weeks away. I gave my insurance information and policy number and got an appt confirmation two weeks away. Then j get a call 3 days before my appointment saying she needs to verify my insurance information and I gave her the same information I gave her the first time. She proceeds to tell me that they don’t take my insurance.

I told her that I talked to her almost two weeks ago and she didn’t tell me that initially. So I thought everything was okay. She goes well we don’t verify insurances until a couple days before. I then told her well wouldn’t it be nice to know at the time of booking my appointment that my insurance wasn’t taken at this specific doctors office so that I can go look for another doctor (granted my insurance is literally Aetna health network NV and it’s a PPO). She has a huge attitude and says well we don’t take it.

I said okay well I really need to see the doctor just keep my appt and I’ll call my insurance. And she goes with an attitude, well you’re responsible for all the cost if you come in.” And she hangs up. So I call back because it was very disrespectful and rude and no longer feel comfortable coming to that office. She answers and I tell her I would like to actually cancel my appointment because she was very rude and she says “okay” then hangs up. So I call back 3 times and no one answers because I want to find out her name because someone like that should not be working at a doctors office with zero patience or compassion. Finally someone else answers and I ask for the other girls name, she tells me that was either ALYSSA OR MELISSA.

Dr. Jawadi I have never been more disrespected and I’m sure you’re an amazing doctor, but your front desk needs to be trained to do their job correctly

To the person with the 1 star review regarding endometriosis… either you misunderstood Dr. Jawadi or she has advanced her education around the subject. She definitely cannot perform excision surgery (as the majority of OBGYNS cannot), but she can help your needs with other things. I went here for a second opinion, and Dr. Jawadi is very thorough and took the time for me to voice my concerns. She won’t tell you what you want to hear, she will tell you what you need to hear. My experience here was amazing, although I did need to be referred out for a more complex situation, I appreciate the straight forwardness and honesty of Dr. Jawadi. If anyone needs an obgyn for your standard needs, she is definitely on the ball!

Im following Dr Jawadi since she was working at WSHAN, I got my prenatal care with her in 2016 and been seeing her until now, this year I think I will be finding another OBGYN, I come to my appt today at 11:13am, my appt was originally at 11:00am I was ruining late because I live in north Las Vegas and the whole reason why I come her is because I like DR. Jawadi she is a great DR, but I come to my appt and the receptionist told me I was a no show I have to pay $50 to reschedule I told her I live in north Las Vegas I’m doing my best to come on time, I got the day off from work just to come to my appt, then she tells me well Dr Jawadi is not here she just walk out she got a call from the hospital, then I ask her well if I was to come to my appt on time she would have not seen me either, then she responded I have to reschedule your appt, and of course I’m not coming back I’m not paying $50 because they charge me the no show visit even though I was there, even if I was on time she would have to reschedule my appt.
Is sad because is the only OB I like, I have tried different ones and I really can trust them.

The most horrific experience. Front desk is so unwelcoming, made me feel like I didn’t belong there when I went for my visit a few months back. The medical assistant was extremely cold & rude, as if I should be sorry for coming there & inconveniencing them. I wanted an exam, doctor did not even touch me. Just sent me for a diagnostic I didn’t need then sent me a bill in the mail and tried to send me to collections for $15. Will not be returning.
Doctor is very quick with her visits, almost as if she’s rushed every time you see her. Doesn’t answer your questions thoroughly, only leaves you with more that she won’t answer because she already left the room.

Doctor wrote my birth control script wrong. Called the office for days and could not get ahold of them. Finally got someone to pick up the phone for her to tell me the doctor will edit the script… for the doctor to NEVER adjust the script and I could not get my birth control in proper time. Ended up having to go somewhere else. Do not recommend this clinic at all.

My experience at this OB/GYN was disappointing, to say the least. The care provided felt rushed, devoid of genuine concern, and primarily focused on financial transactions rather than patient well-being.

From the outset, there was a noticeable lack of attention to patient needs. Appointments felt hurried, with little regard for addressing concerns or providing thorough explanations. It was evident that the primary goal was to expedite appointments even if the office was empty for the most part.

Furthermore, there was a palpable disregard for the involvement of partners in the pregnancy journey. Despite being present, I (the male) was treated as if I were invisible, and the conversations often felt directed solely towards me, creating a sense of exclusion and discomfort.

One of the most frustrating aspects of my experience was the office's reluctance to assist with paperwork, particularly concerning work absence documentation. Initially, they outright refused to sign off on necessary paperwork, causing undue stress and uncertainty. After significant delays, when the paperwork was eventually completed, it was riddled with errors and inaccuracies, further complicating an already challenging situation.

Attempting to rectify these issues only exacerbated the problem, as calls went unanswered, and attempts at communication were met with indifference. The lack of accountability and responsiveness only served to deepen my frustration and diminish any remaining trust in the office's professionalism and commitment to patient care.

My experience with this OB/GYN was marked by a disregard for patient well-being, and a dismissive attitude towards partners, i would caution others to consider their options carefully before entrusting their health and well-being to this establishment. My only positive comment would be they knew how to do the medical procedures fast and efficiently, that is all.

I switched Ob doctor and I really like this new office. I dont have to wait for a long time everytime I visit, they’re quick and efficient. Do not come to this office. If you upset the front desk they refuse to call back, answer the phones, cancel your appointments, drop you as a patient and won’t allow you to speak to a manager. I left an upset review yesterday because the lady I spoke with at the front desk was being rude. Then I get a notification that my appointments have been cancelled. When I called back this morning to ask why appointments were cancelled she said that I left a review stating I was unhappy with the office. I told her I was happy with the provider but not the way I was treated on the phone. She then proceeded to hang up on me. I will never be coming back here. I came to Dr J when I found I was pregnant with my 3rd baby because of her amazing reviews. The first few visits were great! She was very knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable. I liked her a lot! At my 14 week check up I found out that the babies heart wasn’t beating. We did an ultrasound to confirm. She was very empathetic and understanding and kind and I trusted her with my care. After she had confirmed, she sent me to the ER to confirm again?… this was my first miscarriage so I don’t know the protocol. I listened to her advice and went to the ER where they charged me $3,000 to confirm what she had already confirmed. After a terrible day of finding out I was losing my baby and spending 4 hours at the er I came back to the office where she discussed my options. I opted for a D&C. Dr, gave me one referral and one referral only to an abortion clinic, which, I did not understand until I got there- a boarder line abandoned building where I had the single worst experience of my life!
So, over all, I think she is a very intelligent and knowledgeable physician but, for me, she did not provide enough information, enough options or the best medical advice for my situation. I will not be returning.

From my experience, Dr. Jawadi has less than ideal patient bedside manners. I came into today after scheduling time-off work and driving over 30 minutes for the appointment.

I was scheduled for an IUD insertion, but I had a few questions about some of the possible complications that may come with the device as I’ve had numerous bad reactions to pregnancy contraceptives. From my previous visit with her, I was never fully explained about the potential side effects. So, I wanted to make sure before it was inserted that I spoke with her in-person beforehand.

However, when she came into the examination room, she had the most repugnant look on her face. She asked very condescendingly, “So, what questions do you have? I thought we covered that last time you came here.” I told her that I had not been in her office in almost 2 months, and that we really didn’t get a chance to talk about the contraceptive as she was quite busy. After rushing through the possible side effects with me, I then asked if I could still receive it. She said sharply, “No, we canceled the insertion with the insurance.” I thought to myself, “you cancelled it in less than 15 minutes from the time I came in?” I have never heard of such a thing before.

Soon after, she left in a hurry (it wasn’t busy), flung the door open, and left me sitting in the room with no follow-up as where to go. I was absolutely shocked and disappointed. I have terrible anxiety going to physicians because of this type of behavior, and she just reinforced it. This is definitely my last appointment at this practice, and I would strongly advise to look for a more professional, patient-oriented, and empathetic physician.

First time visit:

One of the best OBGYN doctor! This was my first time going to her office. She was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. She was very understanding of my situations and made it sure that I was in good hand. It is hard to fine genuine doctors now days.

Second-3rd time visit:

When I went back for the biopsy results and possible surgery, she explained very clearly and simple. Because sometimes doctors throws big medical words and patients have no full understanding of what they are facing with their health. She once again listened to all my concerns and she made it sure that I was in good hands. I am so glad I found this doctor.

I absolutely love Dr. Jawadi she is absolutely the best OBGYN probably doctor I've ever had. She's patient kind and always makes you feel at ease. I had a horrible experience with an OBGYN when I was younger and always made up an excuse to not go and have an annual. After searching I came across her and all the great reviews and I can say their Is not enough words to explain how truely amazing her and her staff are. My only complaint would be that I wish I could go to her for all my medical treatment I wish she was a family medicine doctor. TLDR: if you want a doctor who takes your pain and symptoms seriously, do NOT come here.

I went to Dr Hayat a few years ago. They’ve been calling me to tell me they’d love to have me back and I’m due for an exam. Simply put, she is the worst doctor I’ve been under the care of. My chief complaint was persistent lower left abdominal pain. Other complaints included very painful periods and we had also been trying to conceive for 8 months with no success (I know infertility isn’t diagnosed until 12 months, but it is still reasonable to look into given the other symptoms).

She sent me out for an ultrasound which showed a medium size cyst on the left ovary (probably 3-4cm at that point). She told me that wasn’t the cause of the pain, so I ask her what could it be then and she responded with “it could be a lot of things.” No elaboration. No further advice. No recommendation on if I should see a different kind of specialist.

She was completely dismissive of the complaints of extremely painful periods.

Years later, I had to have surgery to remove the majority of my left ovary because of the cyst. It had become an endometrioma and I was officially diagnosed with endometriosis.

And guess what? I no longer have left sided pain after the removal of the cyst. Shocking, I know.
