Let me start out by saying that I really don’t like going to the dentist, I avoid it at all cost. I’ve been going to Rancho Smiles at 4420 N. Rancho for more than a year and it’s been the best dental experience of my life. From the time you walk in and are greeted by the individuals who are on the desk that day until the visit is over, everyone is polite and you feel like they absolutely have your best interest at heart. Most of the time I have Milania as my tech for the visit, she’s exceptional. She’s patient, she’s professional, and she’s very good at what she does. She also has a great sense of humor. I see Dr. Park, he is also exceptional. He is very caring, patient, thorough, and extremely professional. When a visit is over, you don’t leave with questions or concerns, he make sure to address those while you’re in the office that day. Today I was in to have a bridge replaced. The procedure was quick, easy and painless. No I did not have any numbing, they offered it to me, but I didn’t want to have that sensation for the next several hours so we just went without it and the careful hands of the tech and those of the doctor made it a painless procedure. I really like the fact that you can get a crown that same day in this office, that was the first thing I ever went in for and it was really great to get seen right away and to leave with my problem 100% solved. They are going to continue to have my business for the foreseeable future. If you need a dentist, I would highly recommend them. They take insurance, and if it’s out-of-pocket, they will work with you on payment options. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another awesome dental appointment at Rancho Smiles yesterday! Huge shout out to Milania! I actually learned from her that polishing and flossing could be done either BEFORE or after seeing the dentist. All these years and no one ever gave me the option or even told me I had an option. Mind blown… Well, I told Milania I was ready and she started working on me right away and let me tell you! It was like a spa day for my mouth!!! SO fresh! SO clean!

Dr. Park was very thorough and knowledgeable about dental work as shes given me options to do gum grafting as opposed to doing composite fillings to cover receding gum exposing nerve roots as most of my past dentists have done. I had a temporary crown fall off so I called the “24/7 emergency” line due to being in extreme pain. Spoke to 3 different representatives and was assured I would be contacted that day. I received absolutely no response and went 3 days in extreme pain since the tooth still has the nerve. Once the crown was placed I received a notice that they were dropping me as a patient due to me saying it was patient abandonment. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

Dr. Park and his staff were great. I showed up in distress in severe pain, without an appointment and they took me right in. I don’t have dental insurance and they allowed me to use their in house financing to make monthly payments instead of paying a lump sum. I am so beyond thankful for them. They were professional, compassionate, and kind. I’m scared of needles and Dr. Park was very patient with my mini panic attacks over the numbing shots. He did fantastic making sure I was comfortable and I left feeling like so much better. Pain went from 10 to 0. His assistant and office personnel were also very kind. I came to Rancho Smiles Dentistry with a badly broken tooth, and as someone who gets very anxious about dental visits, hearing that I needed my first-ever crown was terrifying. Love these guys in terms of diagnosis and being informative. But I think I'm done with them. Their cleanings are rushed and lack quality. I can visually see where they didn't clean all the plaque (this is the 3rd round of this happening). They also refused to state that the reason for my root canals was because it was their fault for shaving too close to the nerve when placing my crowns. This would've been fine if they had been honest.

I gave these guys plenty of chances and I'm sad to give up on them because I actually like the docs quite a bit in terms of personality and knowledge, but their practical application of skills doesn't match up. I have to move on for the sake of my health.

So let’s break it down…like a good cigar.

Atmosphere: Walking in, it’s quiet but not dead. Friendly staff always greet me at the door (big plus). The colors are lively, not that cold sterile dentist look. And those green box chairs? Man… dangerously comfortable. Like, I could sit in those longer than my actual appointment. Because I have 😅

The Cut (front desk): The staff is top tier. Friendly, know my name, and they actually make you feel like you’re not just another file folder. Gergana especially. she’s the real MVP. Always proactive, breaks down payments before anything happens. No “mystery bill” nonsense. I know what I owe, I pay it, done. Smooth as a clean cut.

The Draw (dentist): Dr. Park is my new guy. Took us about 2 visits to warm up. Like testing a new cigar, you gotta see how it burns. But once we clicked, he’s cool, even funny. Don’t let his age fool you, he knows his stuff and His work? Quick, clean, and (unfortunately for me) pain-free. Now, I’m an old school type of guy. I actually like to feel the grit of a manual deep cleaning, the scrape-scrape so I know it’s real. Call me weird, but if my gums aren’t bleeding, did it even happen? 😂 But no, he’s got the tech: electric scaler, lasers, the whole deal. I miss leaving the dentist with “battle scars,” 😔 but I walked out smooth, refreshed, and feeling brand new.

Flavor Notes (aftercare): Teeth clean, gums solid, no issues. Felt renewed, like a fresh reset. And the he doesn’t just clean. He also gives a “what if” scenario, if any concerns come up. Plus all that other jazz.

The Finish: What makes Rancho Smiles different? Easy! It’s the vibe. For me, it hasn’t just been a dentist appointment, it’s felt like catching up with friends you haven’t seen in a while. Every single staff member has that warmth, that energy. And that’s rare.

Would I recommend them? I already have. To friends, family, everyone. And I don’t do that lightly. Again, it’s because i grew up in that old vintage kind of way… and I’m picky with this stuff. But Rancho Smiles? They earned it.

Gergana is amazing! She helped me book my appointment quick and easy! Very friendly and greeting personality when I came in for my appointment. Mireya was my dental assistant. She did an amazing job on my coronal polishing and doctor park went over all my concerns. I can’t wait for my next appointment!

Starting with the appointment call to the day of the visit. Angie front desk administrator was extremely cordial, welcoming and helpful with all my questions.
Mireya dental had the most calm demeanor.
Very reassuring when taking the Xrays etc..
David… we went from using the water oil to talking about pupusas! Most friendly, easy going and a great complement to DR. Park
