After a less-than-great experience with my previous PCP, I did some research and decided to schedule an appointment with Dr. Sean Liyanage, DO. I'm so glad I did! He is incredibly knowledgeable, takes the time to listen, is kind, and thoroughly addressed all of my concerns. I came in with a list of questions, but before I even had to ask, he covered everything I wanted to know. As an added bonus, his medical assistant (forgot her name) was wonderful as well. I truly feel like I found an excellent team and couldn't be happier with my experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sparingly do I write online reviews. Yet as of late, I’ve written several pertaining to medical services here in southern Nevada. This is due to a rather unfortunate, complex, debilitating condition incurred from a surgical procedure that was later compounded by a hospital injury caused by excessive negligence to my person. Needless to say, I’ve seen quite a few specialists in order to attain a lasting health resolution. I only recently realized I have yet to review the one person who has provided me with steadfast assistance towards achieving a full recovery. That individual is my primary care physician, Dr. Sean Liyanage.

I’m a fairly new resident of Las Vegas. In fact, it’s been six months almost to the day since my first appointment with Dr. Liyanage. From that initial visit, he was upfront and honest about what he was (and is) able to provide. I appreciated him patiently listening to me with an empathetic ear.

More importantly, since becoming his patient, Dr. Liyanage has consistently troubleshoot with me various options to take on my road to healing my injuries. He possesses an adept ability to work within the convoluted snarl that is our current healthcare system. When one experiences constant pain, it is imperative to have a medical practitioner who is a dedicated advocate for both you as a person and your health. As such, all necessary referrals to specialists have occurred without incident and in an expedited manner.

If Dr. Liyanage believes a certain treatment is what a patient requires, they’ll receive it without any hassle or unnecessary delays. Conversely, if there’s something that’s best to be avoided or not worth the time (or effort), he’ll explain why and offer a more beneficial alternative. He works with you, and not against you by taking into consideration your desires and overall concerns. Dr. Liyanage’s approach to practicing medicine is grounded in his dedication to genuinely assisting with the fastest, most viable process to properly healing his patients.

The administrative staff nicely complements his efficient, no nonsense approach with their friendly, professional and helpful demeanor. I’ve yet to experience any problem or delay where they are concerned. The nurses are attentive as well. Alison has been especially proactive in supporting and assisting me from day one; always with a smile and easygoing disposition.

It may sound a bit much but I can’t say (or write) enough about Dr. Liyanage and his support staff’s sincerity to genuinely heal. Ralph Waldo Emerson stated in 1860, “The first wealth is health.” This practice fully abides by this enduring adage.

I thoroughly appreciate the support I’ve received thus far on my journey to attaining a full recovery. If you are in the market for a primary care physician, I strongly and wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Sean Liyanage. -S. Randall

I really like Dr. Liyanage but the staff at Valley Health Physicians Alliance in Centennial Hills are horrible. They never answer the phones nor do they check or respond to messages. I called 12 times on Tuesday and finally left a message. No response at all. I just called again this afternoon and they told me they had phone system issues. This is the same reason they told me months ago when they did not get back. I really just want to ask the Dr a question and get scheduled as was distressed. Clearly this practice only wants you to pay for appointments and cannot answer questions. The staff said they would send me a link to the patient portal but then didn't do it. Not sure if worth it to have a good Dr like this if the staff and business are horrible.

Dr. Liyanage is very honest and caring, and has a very good bedside manner. He even called me when he saw a warning sign after seeing my blood works and cat scan that wasn't my scheduled appointment. He referred me very quickly to the right doctor to take action. It is very easy to schedule online as well when you need him. He is the best primary doctor for me.

Edit: No longer available for online booking. Can fill out the form and someone will call. So I called the medical office to make an appointment. But phone keep ringing and just about the voicemail turned on, I heard someone go UGH..(low voice), and then keep ringing again. No one picks up the phone. If this continues there will be NO patient left for all the doctors who work there. Negative star for the whoever responsible for ghosting patience, and 5 stars for Dr. Liyanage. He is an excellent physician.

All you need is to schedule an appointment, fill out the form online. You will get a response, unlike calling the office with no result. I got a text message for my appointment within a few hours after I filled out the form.

Love Dr Sean he listens and gets things done but good luck getting through on the phone. Always "leave a message" They open at 8a. I had to have a lab order by 12n they did not order or Quest would cancel my appointment and that also would cancel my special procedure. I stayed up after working nights to call first thing 8a. Spent 35 minutes trying to get anyone on any extension to answer the phone. Didn't happen. Seriously need to find a better way,.

I think that he is a very good doctor. However, it is impossible to reach the office as all you can do is leave a message which does not get returned. Myself and a medical device company have been trying to reach his office for a month now. I find it very uncomfortable that I cannot reach my doctor.

I called my pharmacy 4 days ago for a refill. They could not get in touch with this group since. Today, I called the office 9 times with no luck and tried to find them through the patient portal; they're MIA. Can't get in touch with dr. Liyanage for anything.

Dr Sean is good however just like the rest of Las Vegas healthcare it's ridiculous. I'm at LabCorp to do blood work. I made the mistake and forgot the order. It is impossible to get a hold of a human at the office to get the order faxed. . I can't get a human to pick up no matter what button I push. .I think at this point I'm gonna hope to find a small practice. This isn't a negative review on dr Sean it's just these big groups don't even get me started on comprehensive cancer center the dr these doesn't even give me 2 minutes to ask a question. Vegas is the worst in this country

Dr. Sean Liyanage, exceeded all my expectations. His bedside manner and attention to details of my medical history was impressive. I am new to medical care in Las Vegas and just a minute into our conversation, I knew I hit the jackpot. Dr. Liyanage listened to my concerns and together, we worked out a plan for my current and future medical needs. My husband is also a new patient and he was also impressed with Dr. Liyanage and his attention to detail regarding my husband’s medical care. Dr. Liyanage is highly recommended and you will not be disappointed.

Reception was also very pleasant and well organized front office. His medical assistant was very helpful and prior to my appointment went over any medical concerns or requests I needed.

Dr Liyanage has a great, prompt bedside manner. He's able to explain things to me succinctly but clearly, in a way my prior physician was not. He's also interested in reasonable followup exams to check on my progress. He's a great fit for my personality and lifestyle.
