De. Shadi Daoud and the entire practice at Las Vegas Heart Associates are some of the most incredible people I have ever met in the medical field. Coming from the East Coast 12 years ago in my 50s I was in need of several specialists to manage chronic conditions I have. Medical care in Las Vegas was the nightmare I was warned it would be. In such a desert of even adequate care, it was a miracle to find a cardiologist like Dr. Daoud. I cannot praise this excellent and mist caring physician enough. But very often when you luck into an exceptional doctor, the practice itself (reception, billing, techs, etc.) are sadly inadequate- sometimes even grossly negligent in answering phones or getting a much-needed prescription into your pharmacy. In the 5 years I have been seeing Dr. Daoud, I have had only top-notch treatment and I cannot recommend him and the entire group at Las Vegas Heart Associates enough.

UPDATE: October 2026: All I can say is that Dr. Shadi Daoud and all the folks at Las Vegas Heart Associates are among the BEST medical professionals I have ever dealt with anywhere in the country (NYC, New Orleans, Florida) or the world! Dr. Shadi Daoud is a wonderful cardiologist! I came to see him in May 2026, because I’ve been having some elevated blood pressure readings over the past several months, and I wanted to make sure that there wasn’t anything going on with my heart. Dr. Daoud is so kind and easy to talk to. He was very concerned with my symptoms so he sent me to have several tests & lab work done. At my follow-up appt last week he explained the test results thoroughly to me, he gave me my diagnosis (severe sleep apnea), and he referred me to a sleep doctor. My ticker and other organs are in great condition, so thankfully we caught the sleep apnea in time before it caused any organ damage. Dr. Daoud is professional, patient, and thorough. I was previously with another cardiologist who was arrogant enough that he couldn’t look outside the box and fix my issue rather than medicate the symptoms! Best decision I made was to switch to Dr Daoud and Dr Koide. Their team to include Dr Jiji found the problem and I received another stent and an angioplasty to correct two blockages in excess of 80%. This team listens! My recent appointment with Dr Daoud was so positive and reassuring that I believe they saved my life! I attended my initial appointment, during which it was determined that additional diagnostic testing was necessary. These tests were approved by my insurance provider several weeks ago. Despite this approval, I have been unable to schedule the required testing. I have left multiple voicemail messages and submitted inquiries through the practice’s website without receiving any response.

The practice’s voicemail message states that calls will be returned within approximately 48 hours; however, this has not occurred. The lack of communication and follow-up is unacceptable and raises serious concerns regarding patient access to care and continuity of treatment.

While my medical condition is not currently life-threatening, the absence of timely response is troubling. Delays of this nature could have significant consequences for patients with urgent or critical medical needs. I am requesting immediate assistance in scheduling the approved testing and a review of the practice’s communication and follow-up procedures.

Doctor Daoud was great. He catered to my mother’s needs, by offer g alternatives to expensive medications, and provided us with samples. The lady at checkout was horribly rude. She rushed us through the scheduling of future appointments, then got an attitude and started hugging and puffing because we wanted to change one of the appointment dates. She literally started off by offering a day but failed to mention the month. We’re in Aug and the appointment she was attempting to schedule was for November. She made no mention of who or what the second appointment was for. She just started throwing out available days again, and did so again without providing the month. She Clearly dislikes her job. Her straight face, and nonchalant attitude was noticeable from start to finish. She has a horrible attitude, and is clearly the weakest link. Everyone else was inviting, addressed all of our questions with empathy and kindness.

Waiting room wait was very fast. They squeezed me in, my regular appointment was not until august, but I needed to be seen sooner.
The ma was amazing and Dr. daoud was to. He went over all my results and wrote down everything that i needed to do for me so i could keep track of it. They are always very helpful here. I’ve been seeing them for over 4 years and wont see anyone else!!

First time here & was sent here on my PC’s referral. The staff was very friendly & welcoming. The wait time was quick & easy for a new patient. Dr Daoud was very nice & did a great job explaining things in a way I could understand them. Dr. Daoud is patient, very attentive and extremely thorough. He listens and has the best quality bedside manner.
