I finished my braces treatment in 2024, and overall the results were great. However, one experience after my treatment left me disappointed with this clinic.

I lost my retainer on Christmas Eve 2025 while staying at a hotel. I called the office on December 26, but was told that everyone was on vacation and no doctor was available until after New Year’s. The earliest available appointment for my impression was January 8 — two weeks later — even though the appointment itself only took about five minutes.

During those two weeks without a retainer, my teeth noticeably shifted back. When I finally came in, the doctor did not even check my teeth or address the shifting. After two years of orthodontic treatment, it was very frustrating to see the results compromised because I was unable to get a replacement retainer in a timely manner.

If you value good follow-up care after your braces are removed, be careful when choosing this clinic.

I HONESTLY REGRET CHOOSING THIS ORTHODONTIC OFFICE FOR MY INVISALIGN TREATMENT.
In the beginning, everyone was extremely nice and reassuring. One of my biggest concerns was my missing front tooth and how it would look during treatment. I was specifically told, "Don't worry, you won't look like you're missing a front tooth. We'll make it look similar to your flipper." That reassurance was a huge reason why I agreed to move forward with treatment.
However, after I already paid and started the process, they suddenly told me there would be an extra charge for the pontic. I immediately told them I no longer wanted to continue treatment if that was the case. Only then did they say they would "waive" the charge so I proceeded.
When I finally received my first Invisalign trays, I was extremely disappointed. The pontic looked yellow compared to my natural teeth, the shape looked terrible, and there were visible holes/gaps around the front tooth area. It looked nothing like what was originally promised to me.
What upset me even more was when the orthodontist, Victoria, told me that she focuses more on tooth arrangement than aesthetics. That was incredibly frustrating to hear because I made it VERY clear from the very beginning that aesthetics were one of my biggest concerns, especially since the missing tooth is in the very front of my smile. I repeatedly explained that I wanted my teeth to still look nice throughout treatment, and that was exactly what they sold me on during the consultation.
Now that I've expressed disappointment, I'm being told it's "too late" to fix the pontic design. They also want to use the tooth from my flipper, which irritates me because I wanted to keep my flipper as a backup in case this treatment did not work out, plus I paid for my flipper separately so they shouldn't even be considering on touching what I paid for from other dentist. I've successfully used my flipper for years, and honestly at this point I would rather cancel treatment entirely and go back to that.
On top of all of this, I've already had to come back multiple times because ATTACHMENTS KEPT FALLING OFF AND WERE POORLY PLACED. There's even excess bonding material around some of my teeth. Considering how expensive Invisalign is, the level of professionalism, communication, and quality control l've experienced has been extremely disappointing.
I truly tried to stay patient and understanding, but I no longer feel confident in this office or the care I'm receiving.

This place is absolutely horrible, the staff is rude and have heard them talk bad about paying costumers which is very inappropriate and disrespectful. Mind you without those costumers they wouldn’t be getting their money. They are very rough with how they work not gentle at all. Asked for some information that involves them getting more money and sighed when they had to explain a plan like you are getting more money and benefiting from this why do you feel forced to do your job? Significant orthodontist on Craig road the ladies are very awesome they did a wonderful job on my daughters braces. Ms V was nice & so sweet. I’m not sure if I truly enjoyed my overall ortho experience at Significance Orthodontics. I’ve had braces work done before, and I remember seeing great alignment and results. I understand that with time, teeth and conditions change, but I felt the process here began with a “promise to fix it” that later became “that’s just how your teeth are now,” which was disheartening.

At times, I felt hesitant to ask questions because the environment felt a bit intimidating, and I often left unsure about what was realistic or not. In the beginning, I noticed improvement and movement, but toward the end, progress seemed to stall.

Am I happy that the braces are off? Yes. Am I happy with my ortho results? Honestly, not entirely. I felt like I didn’t have much of a choice by the end.

One bright part of my experience was Carmen. She was consistently kind, attentive, and made every visit easier. During my retainer pick-up, someone said, “Donnabelle is here,” and I overheard an “Oh my gosh” in response. That moment spoke for itself. I think the team should be more mindful of how they speak in the hallway.

Overall, while I’m grateful to have completed treatment, my experience wasn’t what I had hoped for. Still thankful. To each their own though.

This review is based on how well our first visit went. We felt the care they have for their patients. We have many visits to go, but this first assessment / consultation went very well. The staff was welcoming. Our coordinator, Mireya was informative and made sure we understood the process. We ended having our daughter’s braces put on during the visit. The process went smoothly and quickly. All was done in about an hour and a half. They offer a variety of options and work with your budget. So far our experience has been great!

Update: Today was celebration day as our daughter’s braces came off! She and we are very happy with the results. The time estimated was about the time it took for the braces to do their job. It actually took a few months less than what was estimated. The whole experience has been great! Every appointment went smoothly and quickly. The staff has always been nice and helpful. I had a great experience at this dental office. Victoria and her crew are really nice people and really genuine. The process for my braces were really quick and very easy and they are affordable. My apt was set for 9 and i was out by 10:30 with my braces, that’s pretty quick for a dental office. The front desk is always welcoming. I appreciate that because they are the first person you see walking into the office. My daughter is always seen on time. Dr. Chen comes out periodically after appointment to share progress, sends follow up emails about visit. Her assistants are great too. The staff are all super friendly, and welcoming from when you step in the door to when you are finished with your appointment. All of the staff are great and professional, but I want to mention some of my favorites. Jaylee is an amazing patient care coordinator, she always makes me feel welcome and puts a smile on my face when I walk in the door and schedules new appointments. My favorite clinical assistants are Monica and Veronica, they are fun and easy to talk to and make me feel very comfortable during appointments. Best staff ever!

Great staff very nice I was coming here for 3years. I came here to take my expander off due it being stuck in my mouth they were the only place that worked with me even though i wasn't a patient. I’ve had a great experience at this location with both Dr. Huang and Dr. Victoria! Carmen applied my braces and she did a really great job at answering all my questions, as did Dr. Victoria. Dr. Huang corrected a gum issue that I have been insecure about for as long as I remember and ever since I had them evened out I’ve been less insecure about smiling with teeth. I was referred to this place by Dr. Hastings and I’m glad that he did because my experience here was great! I wanted to get braces because I had a really bad overbite, but for years I was holding back. I was once told by another orthodontist that I would have to get a headgear with my teeth being so jacked, but not until I met Dr. Victoria Chen. She had told me that I didn’t need a headgear and she could straighten my teeth without it. At that point, I knew she was the one to get the job done and on that same day I got my braces. I went to Significance to get braces for a second time after losing my retainers and not getting them replaced. The staff and Dr. Chen treated me like family and remembered me from when I was a child. My teeth look the best that they ever had and I recommend their services to anyone looking for an orthodontist.

Staff was EXTREMELY rude. Atmosphere was unwelcoming for me and my child. Was 3 minutes late and was told I was 20 minutes late, when THEY took 25 minutes to call us in.

Game area for children was all turned off. For a place with children consistently coming in and out, it is not very kid friendly.

The worst part is this: Parents are not allowed to accompany their child into the ortho room. This is the only orthodontist where parents cannot accompany their child for their appointment that I have seen. Upon leaving my child informed me that the staff told HIM that HE WAS HOLDING EVERYBODY ELSE UP. UNACCEPTABLE. If there is an issue with arriving on time it should be brought up to the parent, NOT the child. Needless to say I will be switching orthodontics offices.

Have to say it was a terrible review experience, my lower teeth floss broke and my lower teeth were all out of place! But the floss break is not caused by me, I don't know if my teeth are replaced with new ones or if they have reinforced floss every time I go to the review, which means that it takes me a long time to take off the braces, and I just started wearing mine After braces, the reinforcements of the teeth always fall off, but because the reinforcement is not laborious, not because I eat hard things, I can bear the cost of replacing it once, but this time I am a little unhappy, and I don’t seem to have a good attitude towards Asians. I began with a pinhole receding gum surgery and then a skin graft one on the lower receding gums. They both turned out perfect. Then I got Imvisalign after the gums healled. They also turned out perfect. I actually enjoyed coming to the office (teeth are my personal nails on a chalkboard issue) because the doctors, techs, and administrative staff are wonderful, friendly and professional. 4 years of debate, and I finally got my braces on! It was an awesome experience as the whole placement of braces took me less than 30minutes for my upper arch! I was guided through of Do's and Don't! Spent 8k on orthodontics and don't even get a welcome gift. Not even a toothbrush! Your office is really for cheap while getting more expensive.
ANOTHER RANT--THEY ONLY INCLUDE CLEAR RETAINERS IN THEIR PACKAGE!!! If you want a Hawley retainer maybe as a part your FOUR SETS, you cant. You have to pay an additional $340 per arch!!!!

Very, very nice staff and facility, however, have been extremely dissatisfied with hours of operation, when someone can actually perform repairs, not just an answering service. Experienced way too many issues with brackets and bands, despite an orthodontia friendly diet. Would be really nice if they had more technicians to accommodate a broader range of schedules.
