Pleasantly surprised that I was able to schedule an appointment online for the next day. I did have problems accessing the patient portal to fill out paperwork, but one quick phone call was able to alleviate the issue. Karina Colangione was very positive, a good listener, and thorough. She found 2 small areas on my face that were a concern which she treated. Another small spot on a shoulder was sent for biopsy. The office seems efficient and organized. I was seen at the scheduled time. Overall a great experience and I would certainly recommend.

This had to the be the worst experience I had in a doctors office. I sat there for 45 minutes filling out a tablet before I got called back. I finally got called back and spoke with the nurse about what was going on. She called the doctor in she took a look at my condition and told me it’s permanent it’s nothing she can do for me.

I showed her the condition on neck as well and she told me the same thing it’s permanent with no explanation. She literally did nothing for me. I asked her is it something she can prescribe to get rid of it or something that can help. She prescribed me some diaper rash cream and basically told me to leave.

I got a second opinion and they prescribed me some wash and lotion that has helped get rid of it completely! This was literally a money grab. I was literally back there 5 minutes after sitting there for close to an hour!

The Front Office girl had an attitude like she didn’t feel like being at work I get it. It’s Monday afternoon. But she seemed so annoyed at the fact that my son’s insurance wasn’t verified and really thought I was going to take her initial response without further work on her end. I’m not sorry for her having to do her job today and she had to call
it in. I work in a clinical setting. So I know how things can get hectic behind the scenes. However, your patients should never be able to see you so flustered and annoyed where the attitude is written all over your face and overall demeanor. This is even more important when you’re the first person they’re interacting with. The provider Jordan was pleasant and helpful at coming up with an action plan for my son. I just hope the girl in the front fixes her problem on her face and general demeanor for the next visit because I might have to ask her if she likes her job or not. The seating is not the greatest with the first row of seats putting you right behind the next person checking in. I really had to reevaluate where I chose my seat so I moved. I definitely don’t want to be right in line with someone’s rear end and so close to the counter. All the other seating is fine.

I have been a regular patient of Marcus Pace for a few years now. The staff and Marcus have been great.
At my most recent visit I was informed of a new policy by the front desk prior to seeing anyone that almost had me walk back out the door!! It was explained to me that the owner , Daniel Taheri MD PC is now mandating that every patient have a credit card that is on file with them and PRE- AUTHORIZED for any charge that is not covered by insurance. I explained that I don’t feel comfortable authorizing a blank check to anyone and I have NEVER had to do this prior at any doctors’s office. I was told that if I do not pre-authorize a credit card, that I would not be able to see the doctor today. They said this is a new policy for everyone because they have had several people go into collections and not pay their bills. I asked if I have very had an outstanding bill or late payment that I didn’t know about. They confirmed that I never had and that in fact I pay my co-pay prior to even seeing the doctor. Being aware that the front desk receptionist does not make these policies, I asked her to inform her management that I do not agree with them requiring this CC when I have been a loyal PAYING customer and they should only make they people who don’t pay their bills be required to do this!
I’ll be looking for a new dermatologist if they are keeping this policy.

I had to see someone on July 27th I had a pretty big flare up. I was going to see Trace Adkins next day. There was no way I was going looking like I did. Thursday the do procedures. Thank goodness they took me in. A gigantic ty and Jordan is the bomb. The first two pics was when I first seen Dr. Marcus the 2nd two was 7/27.

If you’re going for medical…..not recommended ! Avoid the hassle!
This business was on my insurance….then got a bill for several hundred dollars! Apparently the PA who I was assigned to see let his contract with my insurance company lapse. How was I to know? Also, I requested to see a doctor and they said you can only see a PA. They request you to have a credit card on file…really? I’ve never had a credit card on file with any medical office…makes me think they have a lot of billing issues.

Subject: Disappointment with Appointment Cancellation

I would like to express my disappointment with the services I have received as a new patient. I booked my first appointment with your office for August 1, 2025. However, I received a text message yesterday at 4:33 PM, just 27 minutes before your office closed at 5 PM, informing me that my appointment was canceled.

Additionally, I was assigned a new patient appointment with a traveling provider named Logan Jugle, despite my request for a different provider. Before seeing any doctor, I make it a point to research their qualifications and reviews to ensure they meet my personal health needs. As someone who takes my health seriously, I was not pleased with how my appointment was handled.

I took time off work to attend this appointment, and I feel disrespected by the way your office treated me as a first-time patient. I believe that the medical office and its staff should prioritize the needs of their patients with respect and understanding.

Please explain to me why I should consider giving Skin and Cancer Institute a second chance. You did not respect enough to pickup phone and speak with me directly. Today you are still texting me to reschedule.

Making an appointment has never been an issue, they answer their phones promptly, and get us in right away.

Dr Daniels is THE BEST! He is very knowledgeable, his bedside manner is wonderful, he patiently listens to all our questions and concerns and explains everything, he is thorough, friendly, and caring.

His assistant is friendly and patiently takes note of every concern we have. She explains things clearly to us, as well.

I decided to lower my rating as when I tried to follow up for the issue I was seen for - I got no response the first three messages I left. Then when I finally spoke to someone, I left a message and no one called me back. Calling a 5th time and leaving another message , two days later I got a call from my pharmacy saying I needed to pick up a prescription ….. which I did not need. I never spoke to any of the medical staff just the phone operator and I never received a call back from anyone. I ended up going to another Dermatologist for my original issue. Staff is nice once you get inside but follow ups are horrible and non responsive when needing a follow up.

Location and parking are great and super convenient. Every staff member from check in, appointment and check out were super professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Office was clean and relaxing. Only thing I had was difficulty getting an appointment. Long hold times. Did not get a call back. I had to call back the next day BUT I was able to get an appointment same day so that was great. Just had to be patient.
Jordan was great- put my mind at ease and gave me the game plan as to how to take care of my skin issue. Thank you Karen and Jordan for putting me at ease!

Saw Dr. Aaron story back in May of this year very nice gentleman very professional prescribe me some medication for my psoriasis seven months later I got a bill and I contacted the office to find out to see if they had to submitted proper paperwork to my medical insurance companies but could not get through or talk to anybody I guess so when you called to find out about who does the bill or so on the people that answer the phone I thought I was calling directly to the office. They are located somewhere else and they put me on hold to see if somebody could at the front desk could talk to me and they found out after about a 10 minute wait on the bone that they could not talk to me. They are about ready to go to lunch and they left my name and number for someone to call me back. That’s odd. I didn’t have that problem when I’m called to make an appointment so I’ll wait. We’ll see what happens and I’ll keep you posted. Not really happy with this.
