My kids have been patients of smile squad since 2021. The dental assistants are always in a good mood and very helpful when you arrive. The BEST pediatric dentist in Las Vegas! I had been calling around looking for an appointment as soon as possible for my daughter because she was having a little tooth discomfort. Every where was booked two months out. When I called Manny answered the phone was very courteous and knowledgeable. He took urgency in my concern and getting her seen as soon as possible at the Sahara location. Dr. Ruth Alvarez is good with kids and explained everything very throughly and was very patient in answering all my questions. I will recommend my family and friends to her. My daughter was seen in September when I was given a treatment plan following her emergency appointment. We scheduled appointments before even leaving their office to ensure she would get the treatment she needs to no longer be in pain. MONTHS of waiting for this appointment, communicating with their office IN PERSON regarding this appointment all to be told the treatment was never scheduled. On top of that, they lost a medical form that was physically placed in their hands. Months of waiting, weeks of communication and my kid is in worse shape than she started.

Awesome dentist office and staff. My daughter has had a lifelong fear of the dentist. This place is amazing and has cured that fear, she even goes back by herself now for treatments! Staff is always friendly, and super accommodating. They’re great at getting the kids in especially quick if they’re in pain or have a dental emergency. Always a nice clean waiting room with toys for the little ones and they always have a kids movie playing for the wait time, though it’s not usually very long.

My sister was so right! This place is great! The tech has been so great with my boys…especially my Kayden who does not like having anything in his mouth. Baby boy has a terrible gag reflex so it makes brushing difficult…but the tech knew just how to handle him. Definitely a great first experience. The doctor was amazing. She explained everything to me and made my boys feel so comfortable. Definitely only coming here from now on. They made this so easy for me and my boys.

I scheduled a dental appointment for my daughter back in August to have some dental work done in October. A few days before the appointment, I received text messages asking me to confirm, which I did. Unfortunately, there was a major communication issue regarding fasting instructions. The texts sent messages stated that my daughter should not eat two hours prior to her appointment, when in fact she needed to fast for eight hours. When we arrived and checked in, I was informed that the procedure could not be preformed because of the incorrect fasting instructions that had been sent out. I was then told I could either reschedule or be placed on the cancellation list; however, the office was fully booked until February. As a result, I decided to leave and schedule the procedure with a different dentist. Since then, I have been calling Smilesquad’s front office for the past week to request a refund on my deposit for the procedure that was never completed by them. Unfortunately, my calls have repeatedly gone to voicemail, and no one has returned my messages. This experience has been extremely disappointing and reflects poor communication and unprofessional service.

07/01/2025, my daughter has an appointment as she was my only daughter left to be seen by Amile Squad! It actually was great and she was able to get her teeth cleaned however due to the severe thunderstorm and dust storm the machine wasn’t cooperating. This place is amazing & the staff is even better! I’ve found it very hard to find healthcare providers that I love here in Vegas, but I’m so glad I finally found a permanent dentist office for my daughter. This Dentistry is far better than the others I’ve went to in the past, the dental assistants are very nice and gentle with my teeth. We switched from our regular dentist after seeing him 2x a year for 4 years and he never once mentioned any issues until my 5yo needed a root canal and every appointment has been great since .the girls and Dr's are amazing with not only the kids but with us parents also I came in and was told our appointment was canceled due to dad not confirming so I was irritated and Claudia never got upset and just told me how sorry she was and asked if I wanted to wait to see if the other appointment would show up and they didn't so we got in on our regular time she was so nice even with my complaining. And Paulina in the back is awesome with kids she took the time to explain why he needs to brush/ floss regularly so that he could understand it and was super gentle and calming every appointment I'm reminded why I'm glad we made the switch

They recommended this place to me, everything was going very well until I asked what type of anesthesia they would give my 8 year old son and they did not specifically respond with an answer that answered my doubts, another dissatisfaction is that at first they showed me that my son needed a tooth extraction, 2 dental crowns and 4 fillings. But they told me with the sheet I received that they were going to do 6 dental crowns and an extraction and something else on the front teeth (?????? ) Total, to not make the story too long, ASK AND ASK BECAUSE THEY TELL YOU ONE THING AND THEN CHANGE IT.

I started seeing Dr. Martinez and his fabulous team a couple of years ago for braces. Yes, I decided on braces at the age of 41 and I don't regret it! The staff are all simply amazing! So personable and fun to talk with.

This will be my 2nd review for Smile Squad.

My daughter started treatment at Smile Squad a few months ago. She needed to have 2 teeth removed and a couple of cavities filled. We were provided with at least 3 different treatments options/plans. We chose to go the hospital route in which my daughter would be put under general anesthesia, because we did not want her to be afraid of going to the dentist due to having multiple appointments in which she would need work done.

The wait was a little annoying, but overall, I am glad we waited it out. The hospital visit was fairly quick and checking in was painless and hassle free.

Overall, the reason I am writing this review, is to thank Dr.Alvarez and Lindsey for their consistency and stellar treatment throughout this entire process. I applaud Lindsey for her patience and understanding when dealing with difficult situations. I am not the easiest person to deal with when it comes to the health of my kids. She eased my worries and kept me informed about dates, paperwork, and appointments. I highly recommend Dr.Alvarez. I couldn’t have asked for a smoother procedure or a better doctor.

Took my kids for check ups and the staff was extremely friendly and professional. They were so patient and kind with my kids knowing it was their first time at the dentist. I scheduled my baby’s appointment six months ahead of time, I confirmed my appointment a week before. I called in the morning the day before of the appointment to check insurance was active as is not under my name. I missed the callback but a voicemail was left stating I needed a referral from a general dentist to see my baby. Are you kidding me??? I call back and asked for a supervisor 10 minutes on hold and I hang up and schedule with a different office. Poor communication.

If you're going there for basic things, I'm sure they're fine. If your kids have any sort of dental condition, stay away. They lack experience, had no idea the genetic condition that my daughter has that is hereditary. She's previously gotten diagnosed by 2 other dentists but we couldn't get the treatment she needed until 6+ months so we tried here instead. They wanted a full genetic testing done by a doctor (which is not how this works. This is a dentist problem that is diagnosed by a dentist. You can clearly tell there is no enamel on the teeth. Its basic eye sight. I have this condition as well as my sister and her child, always diagnosed and taken care of by a dentist.) They were kind to my daughter, and everyone was very nice in general, but just simply lack of knowledge when it comes to things like this.
