My 5-year-old son has always been extremely nervous about going to the dentist, and there have been times we had to leave because he was so scared. From the moment we arrived, Celeste went above and beyond to make him comfortable. She gave him a tour, offered him a sparkling water, and showed him the prizes he could choose from.

Nicky, the dental assistant, was also amazing and so patient with him. She let me sit with him for his X-rays, talked to him about cars, put on his favorite movie, and showed him the dental tools and water sprayer. By the end, he was completely comfortable and no longer scared!

Dr. Perez was wonderful as well. The office is so fun and kid-friendly that it feels more like an arcade than a dental office. I also really appreciate that they accept Medicaid. You can truly tell how much thought and care goes into making kids feel comfortable.

Thank you to Dr. Perez, Celeste, Nicky, and the entire team for turning what is normally a stressful experience for my son into such a positive one. My daughter is now jealous and wants to go too! 😂 Highly recommend! Not to forget, my son even went to hug Celeste because he said she was really nice.

Staff are very warm and friendly and it's very cost efficient for people with no insurance too! The hours are great since they have later times available everyday. The design of the place is perfect for all kids with their cute setup with lights, drinks, and toys offered while waiting. My daughter used to be so scared of previous dentists' but Nicky was so sweet while doing the X-RAYS and her teeth cleaning, talking, playing with, and reassuring her the whole time before Dr. Perez came in. Celeste at the front is very kind as well, informative, and accommodating. Would definitely recommend to everyone!

We had such a wonderful experience at So Hi Kids and Teens Dentistry! I took my two-year-old daughter for her very first dental visit, and from the moment we walked in, you could immediately tell that this office is truly designed with kids in mind.

Everyone from the front desk staff to the dental assistant was incredibly patient, kind, and welcoming with my daughter. They made sure she felt comfortable throughout the entire visit. The doctor was also very thorough with her examination and took the time to make her first dental experience a positive one.

They went above and beyond to make her first visit special. They had a certificate ready for her, took a picture, and even had a personalized Polaroid-style photo for her to take home. They constantly praised and encouraged her, which made such a difference.

As a parent, seeing your child leave the dentist happy and excited instead of scared is everything. They absolutely made her first dental visit such a great experience, and we are so grateful!

I honestly have nothing but great things to say about this office and the staff. If you’re looking for a pediatric dentist who genuinely knows how to work with children, I highly recommend So Hi Kids and Teens Dentistry. ❤️🦷

I’ve never flown first class but I imagine this is what it would be like! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The entire office is clean and super fun for the kids. Highly recommend 10/10. Had our first appointment this evening and everything from the atmosphere to the staff was welcoming. The girl at the front desk was super sweet and the dental assistant + Dr. Perez were so kind and helpful. In the exam rooms they have TVs on the ceilings for patients to watch, as well as asking what they’d like to watch.At the end of the appointment your child gets to pick a prize, mine left with the cutest panda stuffies. They take the time to explain what they’re doing as well as any treatment that might be needed. They truly cater to an environment where kids don’t have to “fear” going to the dentist. Growing up I wish I had a dental office like this. Both of my kids had a great experience! We’re very happy we found So Hi Dentistry and look forward to our next appointments!

I tried So-Hi Dental because they were highly recommended by Align Orthodontics. I was hesitant at first because my son isn’t the easiest to deal with and really dislikes going to the dentist. I finally decided to give them a try because they offer late appointments, and I am SO glad I did!

I found an amazing pediatric dentist in Dr. Perez. This was honestly the first time I’ve seen my son participate and cooperate with everything at a dental appointment. From the front desk staff to the dental assistant and Dr. Perez, everyone was absolutely amazing.

They were so patient, kind, and understanding with my son, who is autistic. Dr. Perez even took the time to read through his paperwork and remembered something my son likes, which helped him feel so much more comfortable. That meant so much to me as a parent.

The office is clean, welcoming, and doesn’t even feel like a typical dental office. They take their time explaining everything and never make you feel rushed. I also really appreciated the little touches, the drink and the gift for my son, which helped make his experience even more positive.

I can honestly say that I’ve found our new dental office! I will definitely be continuing to see So-Hi Dental and highly recommend them to other parents, especially those looking for a caring and patient pediatric dentist. Thank you, So-Hi Dental, for taking such great care of my son!

I took my 3y old to his first dentist appointment yesterday, I was so nervous! This place was AMAZING! it was instantly fun for him to play. Lots of colors. The Employee's are so friendly I can tell he was comfortable right away.
He got a certificate for first visit and he was so proud to show it off at school next day. They provided a "prize" at the end he chose between some stuffed animals.
They did xrays and a whole cleaning, gave me good advice and all this was within 30minutes!

10/10 recommend, so glad I found this place.

First time coming to this dentist I have a 4 year old boy and 3 year old girl and they are both cautious, curious and Autistic so this was the PERFECT place for my younger children! My 15 year old daughter saw an advertisement of So Hi Kids and Teens dentistry on instagram. I took them to see Dr. Perez in July. Fast forward to today, the first day of school my son had a horrible tooth ache during dinner. I called and they were able to get him in at 6:45pm. We arrived and within a few minutes he was brought back and his tooth had been removed. So Hi is absolutely amazing, they are caring and great with kids who are fearful of the dentist. We absolutely love So Hi Kids & Teens Dentistry! Dr. Perez, Celeste, Denise, and the entire team are truly amazing. From the moment you walk in, they make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Everyone is so gentle, patient, friendly, and caring, and the office has such a fun, vibrant atmosphere that makes going to the dentist a positive experience for kids.

We’ve had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Perez and his team twice now for dental care, and both experiences have been wonderful. They truly go above and beyond to make their young patients feel safe and at ease.

We live on the north side of Las Vegas, and I can honestly say Dr. Perez and his team are worth the drive! 🚗💙

I also really appreciate their Monday–Friday hours from 2 PM–8 PM. As a working parent, having evening and after-school appointment options is incredibly convenient and makes scheduling dental care so much easier.

I brought both of my kids and they both love it here, they actually like it more than going to the dr lol The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They broke down the treatment plan and explained everything very well. They have tvs hanging in every treatment room for the kids to watch anything they want. Honestly by far the best dentist office I have been to, and I’ve been to quite a few. Minimal wait time and even if there is wait time they have entertainment for the kiddos. Highly recommend !

HE’S NOT EVEN A CERTIFIED PEDIATRIC DENTAL SPECIALIST!!!! I really wanted to give this place a fair chance. It had a cool aesthetic, but something felt off. Dr. Perez was awkward and seemed to focus an unusual amount of attention on my husband, which made both of us extremely uncomfortable. There were also several dental instruments that appeared unclean to me, which was very concerning. He told my child that they only had “starter cavities” and that we could just apply extra toothpaste onto the area to help it re-mineralize.

After the visit, I looked into his credentials and I discovered that he is a general dentist, NOT a board certified PEDIATRIC DENTAL SPECIALIST. Given how the practice presents itself, I found this extremely misleading.

Additionally, my kid continued to be in pain despite the toothpaste trick. Given this new information regarding Dr. Perez’s credentials, we decided to find an actual pediatrics specialist to get a second opinion. They disagreed with Dr. Perez’s assessment and expressed that the cavity was much more severe than we were led to believe. The new doctor told us that it was getting close to the root and that it could potentially cause an abscess along with permanent discoloration to his adult teeth that grow in after.

Needless to say, we will NEVER be going back to this office/Dr. Perez!! I highly advise you to not waste your time, or potentially put your kids at risk, by going to this dentist.

EDIT: how a business handles feedback is very telling. It’s very convenient that any 1 star review just wasn’t your patient. Stop trying to discredit people and just take the feedback and grow. And just fyi, the only thing you know is my name. You don’t know my husband or my kids name, or even if we have the same last name. So don’t claim my kid wasn’t a client. It’s bad business honestly. Either way, we have found a new dentist and are extremely happy with them. They might not have a flashy office, but they make up for it in experience and actual credentials in PEDS dentistry.

My son had his first dental appt with SoHi and he LOVED it. He’s since told me that he loves the dentist. The office staff does an excellent job at making the kids comfortable and informing the parents; no question goes unanswered. Dr. Perez is also great at speaking to patients and parents in a digestible, informed, respectful way. From The moment I walked in the staff was very friendly and welcoming. X-rays and panoramic images were taken so professionally efficiently and quickly we did same-day treatment. GREAT EXPERIENCE! I’m so happy I found this place, my daughter is normally terrified of the dentist and everyone made her feel so comfortable. We were given sparkling water, a tour of the office and my daughter even got to pick a toy after her visit. This place looks amazing, fun, it’s very colorful with bright neon lights and they had cute age appropriate music for kids. The dentist was very nice and calm, he talked my daughter through a tooth pull and was gentle. The assistant was extremely nice and made my daughter feel calm throughout the entire visit. I found SoHi Dentist through TikTok and Instagram and decided to give them a call on Monday. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to get my kids in the very next day on Tuesday.

When we arrived, they gave us a small tour of the facility, which immediately made us feel welcome. The space itself looks amazing and is clearly designed with kids in mind. My kids were especially excited about the gaming system they could play while waiting to be seen, which made the whole experience feel fun instead of stressful.

Everyone on the team was incredibly kind and welcoming. I also really appreciated how relaxed the environment felt. I never felt like my kids were being too loud or bothering anyone, which can sometimes happen in more traditional offices.

The whole visit was quick, smooth and easy. The best part was hearing my kids say afterward that they loved it there and that it didn’t even feel like going to the doctor.

Walk into this dentist office and instantly you’ll see it’s a place full of care and consideration for not just, kids, but anyone. I love all of the fun lights! They also have a video game system and some other fun hidden gems like a door for the kids to use or a magnetic sand table! Hours are 2-8 Monday-Thursday so finally parents have flexibility that fits their work lives. It’s so apparent how much Dr. Perez cares about his patients. He told me that the reason they don’t wear scrubs is they want the kids to be able to feel comfortable and familiar. If you need a pediatric dentist, you need to go to this one!
