I had my cataract surgery done there today and from the moment I walked in the door until after recovery, the staff was amazing and caring. Dr Pernula is an amazing surgeon and so skilled and gentle at removing the cataracts. When it's time for me to have my other eye done I will definitely go back to the same place . Thanks again to all the staff and the nurses and the receptionist and especially the doctor and everyone who helped him during my procedure🙏♥️🙏

First I want to thank GOD for blessing me with the most passionate team. Claire and Kim were exactly what I needed before going under. My nerves were everywhere and before I could give into them Claire, Kim and I had a blast!! Nervousness went away and I was comfortable and ready for surgery. Of course I forgot everyone else's name but they all gave me good Vibes. I would definitely have surgery again if I could get at least Clair and Kim on my side. I can not express my gratitude more then I have YOU LADIES ARE THE BEST keep doing you boo! I hope I didn't leave a bruise on Kim's hand I was squeezing pretty hard while Claire took great care finding my rolling vein for the IV. Love you both Angel's from GOD THANK YOU!!! TY TY

Staff is extremely nice and attentive. Clean facility. I like that it's on the first floor. Donna was our medical front desk person- thank you for being very kind, friendly, and helpful. At this point in time during our visit, COVID protocols were followed- wear a new mask, hand sanitize upon entry and social distancing.

I highly recommend this place its packed with amazing people from registration with this sweet girl forgot her name though and until we got discharged. Our preop nurses Diana and Maggie are both awesome and made the experience less stressful for me as a mom of a 3 yr old going for a surgical procedure. Dawn the OR nurse who I entrusted my son with was very gentle and caring to my boy I saw and I felt her genuine kindness. The recovery room nurses Geri or Jerry girl and Melita and all the other Pacu nurses are beyond excellent I really appreciate how they handled my baby boy when he woke up and started being combative their patience was over the top and the way they padded us around with pillows to protect him from hurting himself without making him feel uncomfortable. These nurses are what made this surgery center exceptional. They have the knowledge, attitude and skills of an outstanding healthcare worker. They are very compassionate as well. Im out of great words to describe these people. I am very grateful to Dr Selim for fixing my son’s eye he did what we expected him to do and we are very happy, also that anesthesiologist was great I forgot her name though but she is amazing as well. 🙏🙏🙏

I just want to thank the personnel at your surgery center for taking such great care of my wife. She surfers from MS and was having a particularly hard day with her balance that day. Her first cataract surgery was on 11/19/2020 and was a great experience and success. From checking in to the care of all of the surgical personnel it was awesome. Her second surgery was on 1/26/2021, that time we had a problem. Prior to checking in that day, the nurse who had talked to her on the phone understood that I am her caregiver in many ways,, and gave us permission for me to go into the surgical center to help with checking in. Checking in was going great and as we had just finished we were headed to set down and wait for the pre-op nurse to call her, where i would hand my wife of to the pre-op nurse, just like the time before. Before even leaving the counter, another woman came into the check-in area. Right away she told me "you can't be here! you need to go wait in your car". We explained that we had approval for me to stay with her, the young man that checked us in confirmed that. She said she didn't care and to leave. After explaining her balance issues, the woman (Annette) YELLED "we need a wheel chair. He can't be here. She needs a wheelchair". Everyone in the waiting room heard everything she said, as she wasn't at all quiet about it. Not wanting to cause trouble for my wife, i went to my car. My wife texted the persons name to me. Her name is Annette. I have dealt with SMA for 20+ years and have never come across a employee so rude. She made us feel like worthless criminals when all we needed was help. She made it clear she has doesn't care about people-only rules. She has no respect for patients and no respect for HANDYCAPPED SENIOR CITIZENS. Thanks for all of the awesome employees. Please don't let her make anyone else feel as embarrassed or worthless as she did my sweet wife that day.

I wish I could give them 10 stars! Absolutely incredible service and care! The staff were compassionate, caring, concerned and knowledgeable of everything taking place. Doctor Oliver was incredible and performed my procedure within his promised time, as well as taking the time to personally inform my mom, who was in the waiting area. His team were hands on; making sure I had everything I needed to make me feel comfortable! I recommend this surgery center to anyone seeking great and compassionate care!

I’ve been under Dr. Joseph Romero’s care since 2014 ... I love how he explains everything to the T . He won’t leave the room until his answered all your questions and concerns. Thank you doctor for making me feel at ease always , We should have more Ob/Gyn’s like Dr. Romero .

Yes this place was very clean and they were nice here our check-in was for 6:30am. &doors were locked until 6:00am & Was very dark outside the building..I think that if you are scheduled early they should have lights outside the entire facilities, was entirely dark, parking dark too,Up until our check in. Our anesthesiologist was kind here tho. Went in for cataract surgery. Total was 6:30 am-8:40 am, was smooth & Dr was Dr. Pernul. Nice results
