I am thankful for the friendly and welcoming staff at Steinberg. Their caring attitude put me at ease immediately when I arrived frightened and vulnerable. I was almost as nervous about the MRI machine as I was about what they might discover inside me! SDMI is the WORST place to have any diagnostic study done. The onsite staff is good. The problem is that after they collected your payment and performed the study. For at least TWO WEEKS neither patient nor patient’s doctor Don’t hear anything (NO report and NO images available for review). They even don’t burn a CD of your images for you. Basically you have no way to know what’s wrong on the imaging. If you and your doctor need this information to make timely decisions on next step in diagnosis and/or treatment, the opportunity is missed. The doctors are not local and they are in Texas. You have no way to ask questions. I DO NOT RECOMMEND SDMI. I strongly discourage people from using their services.

Constantly fails basic human dignity. Have a issue at location A tell them about it. They fix the issue reschedule at location B... Good results... Need another test months later. Schedule at location B since they were good and without issue... WRONG degraded by Carla... rude, hell bent on degrading and inapproproate comments... If my health insurance only covers SDMI I will not be tested at all... Not worth it...

I had a really frustrating experience here. I was told to arrive 30 minutes early to complete paperwork, even though I had already filled everything out online ahead of time. Despite showing up early as requested, I still ended up waiting over 2 hours past my scheduled appointment just to be seen.

What’s even more frustrating is the double standard—if I were late, I’d likely be turned away, but there seems to be no regard for the patient’s time on their end. Blaming delays on being “busy” doesn’t justify consistently running this far behind.

I took my mother here on Friday night and overall had a positive experience. The nursing staff was friendly, helpful, and professional, and the facility itself was clean and well maintained.

My only concern was with the front desk experience. There is signage encouraging friendliness and compassion, yet unfortunately the front desk representative we encountered was rude, came across as inconvenienced, and lacked basic customer service. A little more professionalism and courtesy at check in would go a long way.

Aside from that, everyone else we interacted with was great.

I've been there for multiple diagnostic procedures and have never had to wait more than a few minutes past my appointment time . This is the most inept SDMI I have ever been to. How can you just delete a referral from a Dr.? Knowing that you can't do 3 mri's at once with contrast they scheduled me any way. The place was filthy. Know one knew what they were doing. I'll never step foot in this location again.

Was asked to get to the office a half hour before scheduled time. Waited an hour and half to get taken back to the changing room and was told that they will get me to the MRI area in an additional hour or so. That is 3 plus hours of my time being wasted. Was scheduled for 7:30pm figured it would be quicker than a daytime appointment but it was not a good thing. Even did all of the paperwork ahead of appointment time and it's going to be at least a 5 hour. I'll really need to be desperate before I schedule here again. Who knows maybe it will be better now that they have been bought out by Intermountain health insurance company!!??

I have been using Steinberg Diagnostic since the early 80's it has always been the premier medical imaging center in Clark County. Having all or most of ones medical images stored on the same data base is of significant value in interpretation for radiologist. Their processes, staffing and systems have been the penultimate in standard of care.
This business is under new ownership, combined with the expansion of health care services in the valley has taken its toll on this once venerated landmark business. My appointment this past week, along with at least 4 other patients with me in the internal waiting room were all 11/2 to 2 hours behind schedule, another was refused service for administrative reasons due to incomplete medical referral.
Training and retaining good staff is the hallmark of a successful business. The new ownership of SDMI has failed this basic process.

Steinberg is always friendly, streamline, & efficient. This time i had to go to 2 different locations. I tried a first available night appointment without sedation at the Siena Heights location, and i was having a hard time without the sedation because I had to go fully inside the MRI & so I end up rescheduling, the next day. sienna couldn't see me for almost 3 weeks, I went to the Maryland location it had an available slot the next day. The sienna heights location had state of the art equipment. The tech was very helpful and thorough. Had a long pillow specifically made to go under the mt arm & shoulder. The tech put a weighted sandbag in my hand to help stop movement. Had some kind of soft cage thing that went around my shoulder. Plus straps to hold me in. At Maryland Parkway, it was very old machine. No pillow, no sandbag, no soft cage around my shoulder. Just a flap of some sort and some straps. At Maryland I wasn't given any verbal guidance in regard to how i should breathe. I believe that my breathing was causing movement. Which I was doing very shallow, trying not to move. The friendly tech told me while he was doing the MRI that I was moving. However, I was still as can be with my body and didn't move just breathing... the Siena tech seem to be more in tune with guidance. Overall, Steinberg is great & I never have issues. Quick & easy... But clearly Maryland is very old and dated, it needs new equipment. My report came back saying that there was movement... which I believe if i'd taken it at the Sienna Heights location, the one with the sandbag and the pillow and the guidance of the tech with breathing, the MRI would have come out better.

I have never had a good experience at this location I was getting 2 things done so they send 2 appointments hours 10/10:30I show up the 30 m b4 appointment that they ask and 45 m later the desk ladies tell me that my appointment was at 10:30 even when I prove that they send me that I had 2 appointments times she still did not help and treat me like there was only they 10:30 time she did not apologize or nothing jst say go seat and we will call you. I showed up at 9:30 and did not got call until 10:40
I won’t go to this location anymore service by the front door desk ladies is horrible

I hope the stuff see this post and say something about or train their stuff to give a better service is not that hard to be a nice person and give the best of you always remember “treat others the way you want to be treated “without the patient they won’t have a job I see the SDMI take the time to say thank you to good post but nothing to the rest you’d should handle both good and bad reviews the good keep you going the bad can make you get better .

Had CT of brain done. All went well with the exception of the time it took to get the results. I have never waited 5 days for results of a CT. Normally I have results in 2 maybe 3 days. My wife says it’s because Steinberg was bought out by IHC and that every time IHC takes over a business, service goes down. I hope that’s not the case.

Went for an MRI. The reception area was quite large and airy. Very clean. Receptionist was friendly and well informed. The day prior I was able to check in via their website. imaging people in the back are great and that is where anything good stops. no one and i mean no one at this place knows what is going on nor do they know what other people do in this facility. calling and setting appointments is insanely ridiculous and it is like it is the persons first time using a phone and computer. and unlike EVERY other imaging place in town they take at least 3-5 days to even look at your scan and get a report where almost every other place has it within 24 (48 under extreme issues) at most. Simonmed has your cd ready as your appointment is over if requested and you dont mind waiting a little bit for petes sake. even southwest medical is faster at results which is saying a lot. so if you need work done quick for anything at all of importance go elsewhere or schedule way in advance. and god forbid you need the restroom as they have one key for it and it is never there and not because it is in use. the employees just take it and leave. this place could not be worse overall ...

I checked in via email online the morning of my appointment. I arrived 15 minutes early- was in the waiting room about 5 minutes before being called back for my MRI. Changed into a gown and sat in the MRI waiting area for maybe 3 minutes.
