Dr. Nishiyama is very through and gives you information regarding your situation. He then leaves it up to you how you want to proceed. His staff and the Orthopedic center staff is knowledgeable. I’m not super happy with their phone system. It is not user friendly in my opinion, however they are good about calling you back if you are lucky enough to available when they call. I do feel fortunate that i did get a reference for Dr. Nishiyama.! i think i will be very happy under his care,

Dr. Nishiyama is simply the best orthopedic surgeon I could ever imagine.
I had three surgeons before finding Dr. Nishiyama, and none of them were able to make my life pain-free. From the very beginning, Dr. Nishiyama clearly explained what was happening with my joints. He was straightforward, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable.
Dr. Nishiyama replaced my hip, and six months later, my knee. He used advanced robotic technology and a muscle-sparing approach, which made my recovery remarkably smooth and fast. It’s clear that he is ahead of many other orthopedic surgeons in both skill and innovation.
I even traveled from Alaska to Nevada for my surgeries—and I would do it again without hesitation. If I ever need another joint replacement, it will be with Dr. Nishiyama, no question. I’d follow him to Mars if I had to!

I’m so glad that I found Dr Nishiyama. He has a great chair side manner. He made me feel comfortable and answered all my concerns.
My surgery was a success! I was up and walking shortly after with the PT. My incision was shorter than the incision of my last knee surgery. I am able to bend my knee to 120 degrees. I will definitely recommend Dr Nishiyama!!
