Probably the worst experience I have ever had at the dentist.....I booked an appointment today for 9/11/26 at 3:30p I had been dealing with tooth pain for a while. When I arrived the receptionist was very nice when she checked me in. I came there for a simple extraction.....the Dentist was very pushy and was trying to convince me to get a root canal and a crown instead, because I am on a fixed budget and have no insurance I told him I can only afford the extraction.......the first round of novocaine was very painful he showed no care as he jabbed the needle in . After 10 minutes I could still feel pain but my tongue was tingling.....I told him and he injected me 4 more times which was even more painful then the first time I took him several times to pull the tooth completely because he kept breaking it I almost felt punished.....I understand I was the last appointment for the day but I didn't deserve to be treated this way its been 2 1/2 hours and Im still numb
....I would not recommend this place to anyone very horrible experience 😕

I’ve been to a few other dentist in my lifetime and they were all pretty much the same. The white walls and the dentist office smell and the spinning noises of there tools. I was taken back when I got there. Not only is the staff completely wonderful. But the environment was comfortable. They had music playing lightly and it was setup like nothing I’ve experienced. The layout and the view from the dental chair overlooking Sahara avenue on the 2nd floor. Besides all of that. The staff were so wonderful and explained everything in detail. I had to and still in process of getting root canals and a lot of different things done to fix my teeth and had 2 visits and have 6 more I believe. But I don’t have any problem scheduling and going to my next many visits. Thank you for the great experience .

The best office in town! The doctor is absolutely amazing (and behind every great doctor is a PHENOMENAL staff)! Dr. R truly listens to my concerns and, more importantly, gives me OPTIONS — something not many other doctors have done. I never feel rushed, and I always feel heard.

The office is spotless, the hygienists are the absolute best, and the front office staff is the sweetest and most welcoming! From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, the experience is smooth, professional, and genuinely caring.

I’ve been a customer of Studio Smiles for a year and I do not plan on finding another dental practice as long as I’m within driving distance of this one. The entire team over there is incredible. No matter which doctor you get, you will have the best possible experiences even with uncomfortable procedures. Every Dental assistant is also very skilled and very comforting throughout the visit. All work done is done well with your comfort and hygiene at the forefront of concern. Iesha really is the icing on the cake greeting you when you arrive, working with you through scheduling all appointments, and working around any financial situations you may be in to make sure you’re still able to get the care you need. I originally gave this office a great review because their staff and their dentist were very awesome and didn't overcharge and tell me I needed things done when other dentists told me I did but it turns out they didn't give me the clear picture and now a year later I'm having to have some massive work done big out of pocket because my insurance doesn't cover it. And this all could have been preventable had they told me all the cavities that I had needed to be filled then which were covered at 100%. Now that it's a year later they're telling me. Oh well you didn't take care of these. Now you need a cap here, a bridge or a root canal and it's massive out of pocket for someone who makes less than $1,200 a month. Very sad. I gave them a great review and I know that they got a lot of business out of that and now I'm screwed because I have a couple of bad teeth that they could have taken care of back then but they didn't. So I rescind my original review of this dental office!!!

I was trying to make an appointment and somehow that there's a disconnect of the dates that I needed so they called me on a certain day then they said I was supposed to be coming in for my appointment when it was supposed to be for the following week it's no big deal but then the staff was so snotty to me and unprofessional that I'm going to go somewhere else it doesn't matter how good your dentist is and the staff is not good then it makes the whole facility go downhill so I would definitely retrain your staff on how to treat potential customers and learn how to be courteous and professional

This place is incredible. It feels like a day spa and looks like one too. They treat you very well no matter rich or poor. I would recommend them for any dental needs from regular dental to emergency dental service they truly do have it all. A year later after spending over $30,000 in dentistry with this group I have to say the only disappointment that I have is the fact that they do not warranty their products fairly. If someone is spending $30,000 on having their mouth reconstructed and getting dentures semi permanent and they need an adjustment eight months or nine months down the road they shouldn’t have to go back and pay out of pocket for that it should be included in the service.

The entire team at Studio Smiles was wonderful. I came in for a regular cleaning and though I ended up needing a bit more work Dr.Barbosa( Ernesto, there are two at the practice) explained everything thoroughly. The environment is very clean and welcoming. Ayesha at the front desk was incredibly thorough with the paperwork and insurance breakdowns. For Black folks and PoC, I will say as a Black woman I felt welcomed and respected in the space. Would definitely recommend.

Wow, I had such an incredible experience from start to finish Dr. Barbosa and Dr.Ben both where extremely knowledgeable and broke down my dental needs and helped me fully understand what I need to get done, Dr. Ben worked on me today on a root canal and I was super scared but they made everything feel so comfortable and I can 100 percent say I didn’t feel a thing from injection to start and end of the procedure and the Dental assistant was very kind and they finished my Dental work with quality results thank you Studio Smile

Clean, communicative and very nice people. The staff is low key and kind, professional and thorough. Dr. Ernesto Barbosa, same. The practice has state of the art equipment too. They do a very thorough exam and cleaning then will go over with you what needs to be done. ALLOWING YOU to dictate what you can afford or what you can move forward with. I believe I have fairly healthy teeth (this visit two cavities and a recommended “deep” cleaning) and was surprised at the list they drew up for me. But that being said I hadn’t been to a dentist in over 3 years. I could not opt out of “deep” cleaning - the first in my life. I brush and floss regularly, but am 58. So maybe old teeth? Dunno. So, be prepared for more than you thought and be prepared to draw a healthy line. Your insurance will cover some and they review that with you too. All dentist offices seem this way now. At least here there is no pressure and you are your own advocate. My only suggestion would be when you are told what you need, like, you need a crown for example, that the doctor would explain exactly why and how they’ll proceed. Never having had one I had to ask what was happening. Seems a little complacent to assume the patient knows what you’re talking about. To the office & doctor it is everyday stuff, but NOT to the patient. Overall I would definitely recommend Studio Smiles. They are punctual, polite and practice safe & healthy standards for the times. Myself, my adult daughter and my 7 year granddaughter all tried this office for the first time and will absolutely be using them regularly now.

I usually don't write reviews but after my experience at Studio Smiles I had too. I dread visiting the dental office like most people but not anymore.
Iesha who pleasantly greated me when I walked in took the stress and confusion away while made me feel comfortable with guiding me thru the insurance and other paper work I needed to fill out. She helped explain the process and what to expect during my visit.
During my visit the Dental assistants did a great job in helping me handle my anxiety while I was in the chair each time. The two dentist that I've worked with so far have been extremely helpful and informative when it comes to my dental journey and the best options for me.
The entire staff makes you feel like they genuinely care about your overall health and appearance of your dental needs. Without feeling pressured and did reasonably priced compared to some of the outrageous prices Ive received in the past. Im just happy to feel comfartable at the dentist and look forward to my visits. This is a new office near me that takes my insurance. Everyone on staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. The epuipment is state of the art. You can see the xrays on the tv moniter as they're being taken, and they use a little camera to take color pictures of your teeth which I'd never before seen in a dentist office. Edith did a great job cleaning my teeth. Ernesto is confident and competant which put me at ease. Ernesto and Julie work well together. I felt like l was in good hands the whole time.

Warning to others so they don't waste their time. My first appt. here they kept me waiting for an hour and twenty minutes. I proceed to leave and they rescheduled my appt other day at noon.
