The absolute biggest waste of time. The doctor, who never even bothered to introduce himself, interrupted me mid sentence, refused to look at the custom orthotics I already had, or listen to the things I already tried. He gave me useless foot exercises I've already been doing for years, but he didn't want to stop talking so I could explain that. Only go here if you want to waste time, be belittled by a useless doctor, and throw away money.

Flamingo location.. 2nd time there.. usually another location…. Dr. Jeremy Wood. Is very very nice and fun. Bilingual… however is very busy and does not address my concerns. Had foot procedure. Provided-a hard boot. Was not provided any crutches for the 1st two days.. Unable to get around. Called center Asked Dr Wood for crutches no call back.. called next day advised from front desk he refused. Explained unable able to walk on my own. Each step was excruciating pain. I was in tears for 3 days straight using a home chair to push around and ease the pressure. end up buying crutches out of pocket on the 3rd day .. no crutches still... post op appointment Advised doctor .. he brushed it off. . Wrong meds prescribed.. I had this same procedure last year on the other foot.. he did the same.. taking out the stitches I was screaming in pain.. …What I don’t understand is why I’m continuously on hold for 10 minutes each time I call. Called today on hold for 12 minutes..hung up.. The front desk staff and back staff very nice however not too competent in call backs. Lots of miscommunication..

My daughter had 2 ingrown toenails removed. The doctors are fine with direct patient care. Their hiring and managerial skills are trash. If you need any type of assistance from the office…Godspeed. Don’t answer the phone. They randomly send out automated texts with a bill. Can’t reach anyone with a question though. Speaking of bills, the billing people are a nightmare. We, this week, received a $300 bill from procedures in February 2024. They said the mail was returned hence the delay. Rather than use the address on the paperwork we completed, they sent the bill to an old address that we lived at a year or more before the time of the appointment. My insurance company was able to get someone on the phone. We had a 3 way conversation and the person at the office said they’d call back the next morning. So far…crickets. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

I gave two stars because of office staff. I had referral to be seen ASAP but they won't schedule me earlier than 9 days out. I was told 1:00pm but got text appt at 130. I tried to call but no one answered phone. Called at 431 and was disconnected at 519. It just rang and rang. Sent text and they confirmed appt is at 100. But of course they did not call me in and took everyone that came in after me to the back including people that came in late. They did not call me back...I went up at 135 and they said the doctor was not here. But no one said anything. I have heard them being rude to other patients. I like the doctor but I don't think I can deal with this office and the staff. Also should tell people before they come there is a charge to use your card if you don't have cash.

My review is based solely on a phone interaction I had on July 1st at 1:13pm. That being said, I am glad it went the way it did because I took my healthcare needs elsewhere. I called to follow up on a referral that my pcp had sent in more than a month ago. I have been experiencing horrible pain on the bottoms of my feet as I walked so it was important that I got seen. As the weeks went on it got worse and worse so I called this place to follow up on a referral my pcp sent in and the young girl on the phone was so rude in her tone and showed no care to want to help me. She gave me the worst attitude and when I asked to speak to an office manager she said they didn’t have one available. Teach your staff how to do their job and follow up on referrals, they are the bread and butter for your facility. I got confirmation from my doctor’s office that it got sent twice. Also teach them how to retain your patients once you have them. Nobody wants to be treated like a nuisance.

On first visit Dr seemed knowledgeable, sent me to check blood flow, then changed what test he wanted day before test was scheduled causing another 2 week delay. Test came out normal and when to sunrise foot and ankle and talked to Dr he said he didn't know what was wrong. He asked if I was diabetic. He knew I am!! Then he said it was neuropathy and asked if I had used diabetic shoes. I asked him what they did. All he could say was helped diabetics feet. And couldn't tell me how, what they did to help. Just kept repeating helped diabetics.

Doctor James Averett and his staff is amazing!! Shout out to Lizzette and Leslie the vibe was very nice its so nice coming into a doctors office and everyone having positive attitides thank you all for being so kind and professional

Great to date, Dr Jeremy Wood and staff Cassandra, Leslie and Elisabeth are wonderful and efficient especially considering the amount of patients coming and going.
Doctor Wood is very upbeat and positive and very accommodating especially with my requests as a Veteran. He saw me as a walk-in day 2 even without an appointment briefly to set up an MRI for me.
Digital X-rays not available yet.

Loved the staffs expediency.

Dr.James Averett is a Great he is very caring and has a great personality! The staff gives you a warm greeting as well they welcome you in. Just as you are new patient every time. His office reminds me of a Dr from the good old days. I been going to seeDr Averett for over a year . He is very knowledgeable Podiatrist helping you with your needs and concerns. Also his staff gives ample time if the Dr Office needs to Reschedule your appointment. Thanks for all you do.
