Update! Had an awful experience throughout not being able to get treated in time from May 28, 2026 till was miscommunicated to see them Jul 27, 2026 for followup when nothing was really done for me as a veteran waiting for treatment then finally I went to my appt as they don't give enough grace period even if I got messed over by 'bad communication' w/n dept to delay my care with them. I was so upset with them how it seem they're not doing their job in a timely manner and wants me to things on portal in order for them to do better service. What ever happened to the safe old fashion way of seeing each other or phone calling, not to have their AI get in the way everytime I call up there? Where is good service these days with GenZ not being as dedicated to their patients anymore. How hard is it to take hand notes anymore these days?

I called numerous times to this office, May 21, to get through and their AI is awful then I was routed to wrong depts when asked for Endocrinology. I had an urgent request to confirm to them if lab test was correct name then found out from PCP it was done within 6 months. My PCP will be faxing it to them hopefully today so I can still schedule with them next Thur, next week. This office needs to get rid of AI and learn to LISTEN to people what they're requesting and not have me on hold for a long time!

I’ve been going to this office for a couple of years and the providers and front desk staff seems to rotate out a lot. The Sunset location is an hours drive from my house but used to be worth it considering how amazing Danna was. Now it’s been nothing but stressful just to get an appointment. I had to wait 6+ months to get an appointment. Apparently the doctor has a very overwhelming schedule. Now there’s a new “policy” that if you’re 5 minutes late you have to reschedule. That’s not much of a leeway in a city that has very unpredictable traffic. I absolutely understand there needs to be some sort of regulation but 5 minutes?? I couldn’t find close enough parking and I’m on a no weight bearing foot and get set back 3 whole minutes. The lady at the front desk, who was absolutely terrible and rude, said nope you have to reschedule. Why? 100% of the time I have to sit in the waiting area for 20+ minutes to even go back, why turn someone away for being 7 minutes late?? Ridiculous! Type 1 diabetes already creates a stressful life and getting in to see the doctor shouldn’t add to the stress. Definitely won’t be returning to this office. I’d rather start over with a new endocrinologist.

I want to share a GREAT experience I had with Sunset Endocrinology. I was there on May 20 for a new pt. Visit. DR. Ward is wonderful. He takes his time, he listens and offers helpful solutions on how to better manage my care. Toni who is the MA was wonderful as well. She took time to get me set up from start to finish with my CGM and was very pleasant during the whole process. Front desk staff very polite and personable and helped me get all set up for my next appointments. I definitely left my appointment feeling confident. A MUCH better experience then a previous doctor. Looking forward to continuing my care here and following them to their new location soon. THANK YOU for treating your patients well!!!

If you are a new patient be very careful with this office. I called in Oct, was told they are booked out until April. April arrives - they say the doctor has a meeting. We rescheduled to tomorrow. No word from them so I called to confirm - they cancelled by appointment in april the day after they called me to rescheduled, no reason, no call back. I have called twice today and no one can provide a reason why or when I can reschedule. A lady named april is supposed to call. Do you think she will ?? April if you are reading this... Let's chat!

I have had them cancel 2 appointments so far. I cannot get in to see an endocrinologist after waiting for months. Ridiculous. Now I have to start the referral process all over.

Hi I have a long history with Addisons disease, my Adrenal Glands shut down. First of all, doctor Ward is absolutely amazing. Oh my gosh, I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to have a doctor listen to you CAREFULLY literally take care of you. I have been so sick bedrid. In for a year, and suffering for 3 years with Adrenal Gland Crisis. Doctor Ward listens takes all the time YOU nees and does all the test necessary to help me function. He is absolutely godsent and amazing. His staff, Lourdes, is wonderful, Kind and gets right back to you.Can even ask the doctor questions on your behalf. Josh does prescriptions. He's absolutely wonderful, extremely capable at his job. Everyone is at Intermountain Healthcare Endocrinology is AMAZING.I am very impressed and thankful that I have been sent to these wonderful people. THEY ARE A GODSENT. I would Give a million stars if I could. 😃

Everyone here was kind and professional the PC I saw was very attentive to all my questions and did a thorough exam for my diabetic situation she went over all my medications and together we made a plan to get it under control... Although it took me 3 months to get into the endocrinologist and the visit was only about 20 minutes long it was well worth the wait! 😁

Dr. Ly was ok, actually a bit better than has been my past experience with Intermountain Drs. Unfortunately as has been the case with every single practitioner with Intermountain, he is leaving and there is no other Dr. available to me. It's back to nurse practioners...one who has not quit yet. I do not know what is going on with Intermountain but they need to get serious about recruiting and retaining doctors and also other practitioners, they can't even seem to hold on to nurse practitioners.

Love Dr Ly he's such an attentive doctor doesn't rush me out answers all my questions always thinks of things that could be the best for my health. Hard to find such a good doctor & for such a young doctor too, like the old saying goes he has the best 'bedside manner.' Most health care places are all about the bottom line now a days & treat you that way, but not Dr Ly, coming from Calif I'm glad to have found such a good doctor I would highly recommend him to anyone. Also, his nurse is the best love her too.

This doctors office wasted my time for over one week when I called to make an appointment for a new patient they told me they needed to talk to my previous doctor and have them sent all the records on my case to their office well I did this and it took me three days to get the paperwork transfer to them when I called back They put you on hold for hours they never speak to you and they disconnect you their staff is horrible and they make appointments one day one that you are unable to make it’s impossible to be at a doctors office when you’re working they wasted my time don’t waste your time they’re not concerned about their patients
