Hey Jennifer P and anybody looking for Cancer Treatment! This is the place. I don't write reviews until I'm done-done. But your people... all of them really made my initial treatment happen in the past few weeks, since my initial consult. The ladies at the front counter rang the bell for me Friday. I'm not naming names cuz I don't wanna miss anybody and I think they know they are conscientous.
Like I told my Doc at the consult, I 've been to 4 Oncologists and 3 Radiation Docs over the past year and had not been treated. 1st Oncologist gave me the wronng chemo and sent me into a diabetic coma.
Anyway, now I don't know, for sure, if I recieved the right thing right from CCC? I gotta marinate for 70 days before your Docs start gathering evidence.
What I do know, I got undesired treatment n non-treatment elsewhere. 1st- wrong thing wrong. 2nd, 3rd n 4th- nothing except fraud on my insurance, which they paid anyway.
Even if last weeks tratment doesn't quite do the trick, it's what I asked for. Your Docs Developed the plan, validated similar cases and implemented the plan with your hardware/ my body.
I want to talk about negatives I've read on here that were not accurate, when I started calling first week of May. Phone system got right thru to Radiation, passed to scheduler and she was very astute, answering my questions. Asked for her when I was approved by VA. Front counter Radiation always answers. I did end up talking to a guy Downtown LV at lunch time.

Dr. Rupesh Parikh took care of my mom during her breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, and I am so grateful for him. He is incredibly professional, calm, patient, and kind. During such a scary time for our family, he always made sure we understood everything and never made us feel rushed, even though the cancer center is very busy.
Even now that my mom is in remission, he still takes the time to answer questions and truly cares about his patients. His PA Jan was also wonderful and very supportive throughout everything. We are very thankful for their care.

Its one thing to call and make an appointment only to have the person answering the phone take your information then tell you someone will call you back. We use to be able to make an appointment when we call. So are we expected to wait near the phone, sorry we have more important things to do then sit and wait. This is the most idiotic way of making an appointment. I guess this company is going to the DOGS as well!!

I have been nothing but pleased every time I go. Dr. Kashef is very kind and answers all my questions in a way I can understand. The staff is extremely busy but always polite. I witnessed a patient go to the waiting room receptionist every minute and ask the same question. She politely answered him every time never showing frustration. The staff in the lab are also very kind. Completely satisfied with how I have been treated and also seeing how others are treated. Keep up the good work. You all have a very stressful job and handle it well.

Stay away from this treatment center ! They are very rude, unprofessional, and have no empathy for people that are going through a difficult time. The scheduling team, has no tact in their ability to have conversations that might be difficult, it is just an awful place to be treated at.

Their new phone system is HORRIBLE!!! The system prompts you to say the provider's name. You say the doctor's name and it doesn't recognize it. It doesn't give you the option to spell it out on the keypad. When you try to get connected to the operator you end up in a never ending hold loop. "There are 17 calls ahead of you". Over 5 minutes later "There are 16 calls ahead of you". Over 5 minutes later "There are 19 calls ahead of you". What?! How did 3 calls get added? You either have to do everything in the Patient Portal or go down to the office to get any help. You need to fix this. You are dealing with cancer patients that should not have to be going through this aggravation every time they try to contact your office.

Dr. Kashef has the bedside manners of a porcupine and obviously couldn't care less about his patients. I waited for almost an hour while looking at a sign on the wall praising him for not keeping patients waiting. That's just trolling us. He told me that I'd be on blood thinners for life, with just a hint of disdain in his callous smirk. Stay away. Far away.

I had been seeing Dr.Kashef for over 2 years due to a platelet disorder and I have had nothing but negative experiences the entire time. One of my first appointments with him I overheard him making fun of me/my name right outside of my room. He is incredibly disrespectful and showed no interest in providing me actual care for my condition. I would ask questions to try and better understand my condition, and he would brush them off and tell me “it’s not a big deal I have patients that are much worse.” Every appointment it seemed like I was a new patient he knew nothing about although I had been under his care for years. I am a young woman and I do feel he did not take me or my condition seriously because of that. I left every appointment in tears due to the way he treated me. I would not recommend anybody, especially young women to EVER see this Dr.

Ghulam (G.H.) Kashef, MD Is a horrible doctor and very disrespectful. I would never recommend him to anyone. My father is a cancer patient there and he was extremely rude to him to the point where my father was not comfortable so I had to take him with me. Please don’t ever deal with Ghulam (G.H.) Kashef, MD

Extremely disappointing visit. Medical assistant was beyond rude and judgemental. I will seek care elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

I was seeing Dr. Lynn Duffy because I has lumbs in breast n cancer in my family. She left on maternity leave and I was seeing Stacy which was fine. Then all of a sudden before my appointment to get results of my mammogram n ultra sound they called n said Lynn Duffy retired and Stacy wasn't gunna keep me a patient and I was told go back n get another referral to get the results else where and they dumped me as a patient so now if I do have cancer I have to wait longer to find out n it could get bigger n worse . It was terrible and I'm very upset about how the woman who called me to dump me as a patient spoke to me. She didn't care at all about me my results or anything . Don't waste ur time going here they don't care about their patients well being at all

This office is severely understaffed and overwhelmed. My first visit, I was in the building for nearly two hours, only to see the dr for maybe ten minutes, and he barely even looked at me during that time. A good chunk of that was filling out a stack of paperwork nearly a quarter-inch thick. This seems like a magnificent waste of time and paper when online portals are so common now.
I was referred for followup bloodwork and imaging. It took two weeks to even get the orders sent to the imaging facility, and just today I found out from that facility that the prior authorization for my insurance was incorrectly filled out by CCCN, so they will have to reschedule me until CCCN fixes that. Seems like something as time-sensitive as a cancer diagnosis should be handled a little better than this, imo.
Anyway, I'll be cancelling my followup with CCCN and seeking another oncologist. I am too fed up with all the stress this is adding to my life.

The clinical staff is good. The support staff, especially the patient benefits rep that handles our last name has no ability or option to leave a message for a call back after their recording. Poor patient support.

I’ve had excellent treatment from my doctors at CCC. That’s not the issue.I want to reschedule my appointment and I’m on hold for 22minutes, I try again and I’m hold for 28 minutes and I try again and I’m on hold for 37minutes ALL IN THE SAME DAY!!!!! WHY????? Why can’t you leave a message and the rescheduler call you back like before???? Who has time to be on hold for 87 minutes(1hour and 27minutes) is this acceptable to you????? ITS STRESSFUL!!!!

When I started my journey I was fearful of all things unknown. My doctor, Dr Parikh, was very competent and patient with me. He worked with MD Anderson on my care plan where I had gone shortly after my original pathology report which showed two, and possibly three cancers. Even when the institutions failed to communicate as well as one would like, and have incompatible systems for records, Dr Parikh demonstrated always opting for the best, and most advantages labs, and testing . Having a stage four cancer during COVID was not easy for the staff or a patient. Getting chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments, while following all of the protocols of COVID was challenging for all involved, but that was true for all patients and not unique to me.
The staff in the infusion room had compassion and and often presented with a cheerful and pleasant affect. It wasn't always easy to spend hours in an infusion chair, but staff made it as easy as possible. I experienced some of the best lab draws that I have ever had, and I am difficult to draw. The front desk staff was always pleasant as well as the scheduling staff. If I had any feedback for improvement at all, it would be that reaching someone by telephone could be difficult during COVID. It remains challenging even now with follow-up care. I do understand that with health care stressed with a shortage of good staff to fill positions, and many patients to serve, that will happen. It's not at all unmanageable, but waits can be long to speak to someone or to receive a call back. Over all, I am so grateful to my doctor and care team at CCCN in Henderson. I know that being alive now to write this review is largely because of the care that I received. Bravo for all that they do for me and for everyone that they treat. Thank you all.

I have been receiving treatments for six months to date and I have a few months more to go plus continued care for life. When you are not feeling well your emotions can be very vulnerable. I love the compassion the entire team provides from check-in to check out.

The care provided me by Dr. Rupesh Parikh is outstanding. I have been under his care for 10 years now and have been given the best care possible. The only problem I have with CCCN is the wait. I do not understand why appointments can't be scheduled so that patients aren't waiting an hour. Also, I have waited many times in the infusion room for unreasonable amounts of time. When I am called in there, I should be hooked up immediately, not have to wait 30 to 45 minutes. This does not happen every time but it has happened at least five times.

I just noticed a fake 🤥post under my name and profile picture 🤔 whyyy I’m not sure whyy someone would go to great lengths to do this… oh wait I know whyyyy. Stalkers! Bottom feeders 🦀. It was also a negative post about CCC, I like them very much. They have helped me through my cancer treatments. My Dr’s are great 👍, no complaints… thank you.
They tried to write ✍️ like me but they can’t spell and they’re grammar was wayyyy off 😅.

I was referred here by 2 different doctors who think I have a blood disorder called HES. This is why I was referred. Over 3 weeks my case was supposedly reviewed by 2 different doctors. After 3 weeks I was told that they have denied to see me because they do not treat or diagnose HES. What in the actual hell is wrong with these people. This is information they would of known day one but they took 3 weeks to tell me this. I literally feel like I am on my death bed and they refuse to see me

I want to thank Dr Schwartz, Dr Anderson the radiology team Shelley, Kim, Lynn, James and the rest of the staff for the outstanding care I received.
I had radiation treatments everyday for nine weeks. From the 1st treatment to the last I was greeted with a smile, taken in on time and treated with respect. I actually looked forward to coming in everyday. They made a difficult situation easier to handle. Now that I am cured I will miss everyone.
Thanks again!

Dr. Kashef treated my mother like a fly on the wall not once did he ever greet her. He took 6 months to diagnose her bone cancer. When my mother refused to get chemotherapy treatment from him he basically casted us aside and was not willing to help out with any forms necessary to help us along the terrible journey that cancer takes you on. I took my mother out of the country to get treatment and the doctors were shocked when they saw her lab results and asked how could this have gone for so long without a diagnosis or treatment. My mom's suffering was heartbreaking when I left the country but after a month of foreign doctors treating her she was back to a painless life and enjoying the little time she had left. It's been over a year since I buried my mother and finally I decided to warn others not to take your loved ones to see this awful doctor. The reality is that death will come but why make your patients suffer when they have little time. Give them the care they need and treat them like humans deserve to be treated. Dr. KASHEF PLEASE RETIRE I'VE NEVER MET A DR AS TERRIBLE AS YOURSELF.

Dr. Kashef and the entire team is the most accommodating and kind group of people that truly know how to show empathy and make us feel like we are a family member. Before Covid, I would bring my wife in to see Dr. Kashef and I would have to bring my 3 kids. At many other offices, this is frowned upon and I completely get it. However, the ENTIRE staff goes above and beyond to, not only take care of my wife, but to make all of us feel welcome and comfortable. These appointments are far from a fun trip but somehow, everyone there always have us smiling when we leave. I can't thank Dr. Kashef enough for his kindness and generosity and the staff for treating us like family.
