To whom this may concern,

I chose this urgent care facility because of the positive reviews, but unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

First, the front desk receptionist/medical assistant collecting patients’ personal and medical information was not wearing any form of identification or name tag. Patients should know who is handling sensitive information, especially considering the strict privacy and professional standards medical facilities are expected to follow.

More importantly, I was refused medical attention because I could not pay upfront while transitioning insurance coverage. In my 37 years of life, I have never experienced being turned away from a medical facility over immediate payment concerns before even being assessed. Most healthcare providers prioritize patient care first and handle billing afterward.

“Self-pay” does not automatically mean “pay immediately before receiving any care.” There is a clear difference.

In addition, discussing my financial situation and medical concerns openly in the lobby area, in front of other patients, was highly inappropriate and unprofessional. I was also treated as though I was inconveniencing the staff simply for seeking care.

When I requested a manager, there did not appear to be proper management available at the time, which only added to the frustration of the situation.

Due to this experience, I will be escalating my concerns to corporate. Patients deserve professionalism, privacy, compassion, and proper medical treatment regardless of temporary insurance or payment circumstances.

I received some really disconcerting news and had to act fast. I called and Janelle answered the phone with such kindness and assuaged my worries as best she could. Patient Feedback care first, Urgent Care Visit (June 4th)

I am writing to provide feedback regarding my recent visit to your urgent care clinic on June 4th, where I sought treatment for what I strongly suspected to be a fungal infection on my left foot’s little toe—which appeared swollen, red, itchy, and painful.

Unfortunately, I left the clinic feeling unsatisfied and disappointed with the level of attention and care I received. While I understand that urgent care clinics are often busy, I expected the Physician Assistant (PA) to examine my case more thoroughly and communicate with greater clarity.

Instead, the PA seemed distracted and primarily relied on a reference source to prescribe a cream—without much direct interaction or clinical explanation. I was told the prescription would be sent to my Costco Pharmacy, so I made the effort to go there, park, and wait in line—only to be told that the medication is actually an over-the-counter (OTC) item.

This was frustrating and time-consuming. A simple, clear instruction from the PA—that the cream is not prescription-based—could have saved me the hassle of going to the pharmacy altogether. This lack of attention to patient communication shows a need for better training and mentoring, especially for young or newly employed clinicians.

I sincerely hope your management team reflects on this feedback and improves the quality of patient care, communication, and follow-up in your clinic. Patients who seek urgent care are often in discomfort or pain and expect prompt, clear, and competent medical guidance.
I hopes that it may lead to better patient experiences in the future.

This place is really close to my house which is nice for when I’m sick I don’t need to drive far. This place is very clean inside, the staffs are welcoming. I didn’t make an appointment. I walked in, and was sat inside with the provider very quickly as well. I was able to be treated in a timely manner. I recommend coming here.
