Well....2026 now it's different. The Appointments with my doctor are usually a month wait that's why i choose the Nurse and she is amazig...caring, not in a rush, takes time to explain things, listens and she has compassion.
The referral department is horrible. They never call you and when i call I'm on hold for more than an hour....... I've been trying for over a month smh

If I could give 0 stars I would. First appointment with Nicole Zieba and not planning on going back to her. Nicole Zieba made it hard for me to get allergy medicine prescribed, said that my insurance didn't cover it but it actually did.
The nurse before her told me she had to recheck my blood pressure because it was high but Nicole Zieba didn't even care to mention anything about my high blood pressure. She seemed like she just wanted to get me out of the room as fast as possible. My friend gets her depression and anxiety medication prescribed by her and when I asked about options for that she said that they do not prescribe stuff like that there. Definitely one of those drs that make you feel like you're a bother for having an appointment with them.

Attending physician failed to properly diagnos my condition. Said I had Gerd/constipation, when in fact i was having an appendicitis attack. Talked to him the next day, and he stood by his diagnosis with no offer to see me again. He dismissed me and stated he had other patients to see.

I always enjoy my visits with my primary doctor,Patrick Tawil, most people do not like to go to the doctor anyway but when I go to Southwest Medical on Tenaya I always feel comfortable and I'm always checked in quickly and my primary doctor always spends time with me and answers all my questions and never rushes me out of the office and that is so important to me! I also work in the medical profession and it is so important to show compassion to your patients. This is the only doctor's office that I feel comfortable going to and my blood pressure is always good even going to the doctor there because everyone works together and makes you feel at ease. I absolutely recommend Southwest Medical on North Tenaya because you can go to the Urgent Care and have a mammogram or an x-ray all done in the same building and that's great too!

Nicole Zieba, NP, is a horrible provider with no sensitivity. I had scheduled an appointment with my primary and at my appointment time, my appointment was canceled by the office due to my primary not being there. I had to call the main number to find that much out because I was on the app trying to no avail to get into the virtual waiting room. Once I call the main number and was informed my appointment had been canceled and the reason, they offered me an appointment with Nicole Zieba which I accepted. During my appointment it was obvious she hadn’t looked at my chart prior to signing on. She may very well had been busy and had no chance to review my chart. As my appointment proceeded and I was explaining the reason for my visit, she cut me off and said,” well I can’t put a gun to their heads and make them see you.” That her professional response to a patient when I was telling her of my difficulties getting a virtual appointment with a specialist. My response was,” you’re being very insensitive and that’s completely inappropriate “. She followed by saying,” well I can’t “. People seeking medical attention because their going through something and her entire demeanor said she couldn’t care any less. She may be different and may have been having a bad day. I was seeking help for an ongoing medical condition. If she’s not fit to do her job, she has no business seeing patients. Patients deserve better.

I take my mother to see Moayad Ribhi Ismail, MD. Dr. Ismail has been one of the best Dr.'s I have ever seen. My mom sees Dr. Ismail for her dementia. She always feels very comfortable going to see him and he takes plenty of time to make us all feel very comfortable. Dr. Ismail not only takes great care of my mom but he makes sure I know how to take care of my mom, with dementia and he makes sure I am doing okay with everything. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Southwest Medical. I went in for help with severe back pain during pregnancy, and instead of being offered safe, thoughtful options like physical therapy or other supportive treatments, the doctor suggested steroids—even after I explained I was pregnant. He continued to say “ Well I wouldn’t recommend you taking it daily but hey “ That felt not only unprofessional but also very uncaring toward both me and my baby’s health.

When I expressed my concerns, I wasn’t given alternatives or guidance, just told that there wasn’t much they could do. The doctor then simply scheduled me with someone else, without trying to address my pain or reassure me in any way.

I left feeling dismissed, unsupported, and more stressed than when I came in. Pregnancy is already hard enough—patients deserve compassionate care and providers who take the time to listen and offer safe, appropriate solutions. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
I am
So glad I switched my Ob when i did , they were so careless with my appointments and kept giving me the run around now I have to call my insurance and switch my primary care doctor . On top of the fact that on the morning of my appointment I was cancelled by the doctor 30 min before my appointment which was already at 7:00 am ! And given to another careless who I’ve never met before . They are hiring anyone and just taking your money . I will not be back here and if you’re a mom or just a person who is in serious need of help I would run away from this place .

The medical system offered In Las Vegas should be considered horrible and against the law. Our health doesn't seem to have any priority at all. After waiting 3 mths for my follow up appointment I get a voicemail stating my apt needs to be rescheduled as the doctor won't be available in that day. To add to it, I have to call and speaker to the workers who apparently if u don't tell them exactly what to do and how to do they don't see the task. Now my next available appointment to my primary is no less then 3 mths away from today. My surgeries are out on hold again because with my insurance the primary needs to fill out some forms and referral for some test. So while I'm doing this wait and back and forth my health issues continue to worsen in need of surgery. So what do we do now, pray we wake up one day to a lot of money in our account or just quit on even trying to take care of myself. This is ridiculous.

It's Saturday- and I see below the knee both legs are still sporting golf-ball size reddish "splotches" for the second day- what caused this itchy-allegic reaction?-after several hrs. of discomfort, no relief from home remedies, I'm driving to Urgent Care at SW Med/Tenaya- I'm Totally impressed with the care shown me! DIdn't wait long to be seen by provider M. Waychoff PA-C=she asked the right questions, LISTENED to what I had to say without rushing me, examined the skin, ordered tests and lab work--had 2 Rx. auto-faxed to my pharmacy--kudos, M.Waychoff- you treated me with respect, carried out tasks efficiently, and managed to get all done in a relatively short time frame! It is December 1st I got here at 10:40 it is now 1:52 and they explained to me because of the provider that I'm under and they were running behind I've never had this experience before and it sucked. I've been with Southwest medical for at least 4 years now and I've never had a bad experience until yesterday. I was there for 4 hours there is switching over their system is what they said when I got there. Okay fine. I've never waited more than an hour I'm in and out. Okay so it's busy maybe because one of the other Southwest medical facilities had closed down that day. That's fine so I may be looking at 2 hours but no by the time I left it was 4 hours. I kept waiting because I was going to be around 100-year-old little lady at her birthday party and I just wanted to make sure what I had wouldn't hurt her I have a swollen wrist and it's hot and it felt infected and I don't want to bring any harm to this little lady. So I kept waiting and then after 2 hours I started asking what was going on because people were going in and leaving that came after me and then another hour went by and I asked two more times and by then the lobby was emptied except for three of us and one woman was really upset and so was I. There was an older couple there at least 78 or 80 years old that hadn't even been triaged what is that all about. I don't know what this new system is and I don't care. I was going to sign up for the same program I'm in now but I'm very much so disappointed and is it going to happen again like that because what else they told me was they prioritize people that may be and were shape than I well that's fine and good but not everybody was in worse shape than I and who's to say they were anyway the people at the just checking Us in they're not nurses nor doctors.
