This is not gonna be a good review. You sent me to SW Medical to have a wellness check up. They treated me as if they were my doctors. They wanted to give me blood test and bone density test, which I just had two weeks before. They said well it’s not in our database and I said You are not my doctors. The nurse jotted down certain information and when the PA came in, he starts insisting that I have a 5.8 sugar problem and therefore I’m prediabetes mind you he has no blood test. I told him I do not have pre-diabetes, I am hypoglycemic and I’m very aware of what diabetes is since many in my family have had it. I told him that for 50 years I’ve been working on making sure I never get diabetes and yet he kept insisting. If I had been a person that could be easily intimidated, I would’ve allowed them to do the test and the bone density again and it would cost me a fortune since it was just done two weeks Ago. I don’t mind going in for a wellness test, but I would like to go at my doctors office at Doctors Center so that I’m treated with dignity and not acting as if I’m an idiot. I am 83 years old, but I know my body inside out because I do all my exercises Stretches everything I could possibly need to keep me in good shape.

Wow! Accidentally ended up booking an appointment here instead of another location and actually am very pleasantly surprised! Very lovely, caring, genuine people working here! The receptionists, nurses, PAs, all so attentive, kind, and professional! Made me feel like a human being and not just a number on a chart. Would gladly come back when needed!
On the other hand, this location's urgent care downstairs sucks! I unfortunately was there a month ago and the nurses/PAs there are either cold or rude and very dismissive. But that's a review for the urgent care only.

Worst experience ever if you need referral to a specialist. I have dislocated finger w/ fracture and it has been almost 2 weeks for my PCP office staff to send my referral to a Hand specialist. Staff ‘excuse’ is they don’t understand how to use their software that is required, and only know how to send faxes. Instead of remediating the situation, I was met with empty apologies and others literally saying it’s ‘out of their hands’ due to their own incompetence. Therefore, I am paying hundreds of dollars a month for healthcare that is literally inaccessible to me because SW Medical staff, admittingly, do not know how to complete the administrative tasks necessary to send my referral to the Specialist office that ‘they’ referred me to. Update: called specialist today and referral still has not been received.

Well....2026 now it's different. The Appointments with my doctor are usually a month wait that's why i choose the Nurse and she is amazig...caring, not in a rush, takes time to explain things, listens and she has compassion.

If I could give 0 stars I would. First appointment with Nicole Zieba and not planning on going back to her. Nicole Zieba made it hard for me to get allergy medicine prescribed, said that my insurance didn't cover it but it actually did.
The nurse before her told me she had to recheck my blood pressure because it was high but Nicole Zieba didn't even care to mention anything about my high blood pressure. She seemed like she just wanted to get me out of the room as fast as possible. My friend gets her depression and anxiety medication prescribed by her and when I asked about options for that she said that they do not prescribe stuff like that there. Definitely one of those drs that make you feel like you're a bother for having an appointment with them.

Attending physician failed to properly diagnos my condition. Said I had Gerd/constipation, when in fact i was having an appendicitis attack. Talked to him the next day, and he stood by his diagnosis with no offer to see me again. He dismissed me and stated he had other patients to see.

I always enjoy my visits with my primary doctor,Patrick Tawil, most people do not like to go to the doctor anyway but when I go to Southwest Medical on Tenaya I always feel comfortable and I'm always checked in quickly and my primary doctor always spends time with me and answers all my questions and never rushes me out of the office and that is so important to me! I also work in the medical profession and it is so important to show compassion to your patients. This is the only doctor's office that I feel comfortable going to and my blood pressure is always good even going to the doctor there because everyone works together and makes you feel at ease. I absolutely recommend Southwest Medical on North Tenaya because you can go to the Urgent Care and have a mammogram or an x-ray all done in the same building and that's great too!
