Dr. Watson takes his time explaining different options for the problem you have. I was not rushed. I have had 3 surgeries done by him and went go back to consult him on another problem I was having. If you have ankle and foot problems he is exceptional in explaining what he can do for you.

Dr. Watson is fantastic. He’s the best orthopedic surgeon I’ve ever seen. He is really intelligent and takes his time answering your questions. It’s so hard finding a compassionate doctor nowadays, but I’m so glad I’m in his care. He had residents working alongside him and they were nice too. I defintely recommend him!

I was very impressed with this medical group overall. They have a wide range of orthopedic doctors with specific specialties, which is great for patients. I saw Dr. Troy Watson, and both he and his staff were professional and had an excellent bedside manner. I really appreciated that they were proactive in taking x-rays on site and having them ready for the doctor before my visit, which made the process efficient.
The only downside was the wait time. My appointment was scheduled for 9:30, and while my x-rays were taken soon after I arrived, I didn’t see the doctor until 11:30. While I understand delays happen, a two-hour wait was frustrating.
Overall, I feel confident in the quality of care and expertise, but I hope the scheduling and timing can be improved.

Excellent specialist - everyone in this office was so attentive and kind! They have X-ray right there and the Dr gets the results within minutes while you are in your appt. The care was the best I’ve ever experienced. Nice comfortable waiting room. And Lysol for the exam rooms. It felt very clean.
The X-ray staff is fantastic as well. Don’t miss this place - it’s a rarity in the medical biz!

Dr. Watson, you are the most amazing Doctor that I have ever seen and I have had over 2 dozen surgeries so I have seen several Doctors. “You Sir, you are the Best in the field”. When you see Dr. Watson, he always has a proper plan of treatment and performs that excellently. Dr. Watson always takes time with his patients and ensures that all questions are answered in detail before the appointment in completed, you may spend some additional time at your appointment. But to me that is fine because you know an Excellent Doctor always takes the time needed for each patient.

I visited Desert Orthopaedic Center on 3/19/25 due to a knee injury EMERGENT ISSUE . Dr Watson was great ! He took care of the swelling and pain with an injection to calm the pain . 24 hours later my knee area is free of pain and no swelling ! I came to Dr. Watson on the recommendation of my own orthopedic surgeon who said “he is the best foot surgeon!” The podiatrist I was going to at the time felt like the very serious break I had could only be fixed by amputating my foot. Surgery according to him would be something I could not tolerate. Dr. Watson did not have that opinion and performed an amazing surgery putting all the pieces together to save my foot. I am eternally grateful. Just saying “Thank you” seems inadequate to say to someone who has changed the course of your life.

Most people talk about broken bones, but I had ruptured my achilles tendon. They had to do an FHL tendon transfer. But I can walk again! It was a three hour wait yet there was no notification board in the lobby letting anyone know that they were behind/how behind they were. In and Out was a total of four hours.
