AWFUL. I paid over $1300 for a root canal. I would have to obtain the receipt, but it hasn’t even been a three years since I had the root canal here and I had to have it redone. They did not drill and fill all the way through the root so it abscessed and came back and I had to pay and get another root canal elsewhere. I had x-rays done after At a different endodontic and the work that they did was an absolute joke. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. DO NOT GO HERE.

Do not go here for a crown. Went to get a crown in 2019 and bought a warranty that covers my crown for any issues. This crown came off several times. 3 times in 5 years. The work is not good. Came off again and now have to go see someone else because they won't fix it. Find another dentist. Not quality work. I should get a refund I can’t use the crown that I bought from them anymore.

Second time going to True Dentistry in Summerlin and I will not be going back here again. The manager, Elle, spoke to me over the phone the other day about concerns I had for my $192 charge for a cleaning and a panoramic x-ray. After calling my insurance 2x and confirming that I do not have to pay a deductible, pay for cleaning, nor x-rays, Elle denied what my insurance said and told me that “they didn’t know what they were talking about” and that “I did not understand.”Angela, the person who cleaned my teeth, was not up front with me about how much fluoride and the laser treatment on the gums would cost. Both times I went she pushed it upon me to get it, even though the Dr never told me I needed it. It is clear that this place discriminates against younger individuals like myself, and will take advantage. They are hungry for sales and do not care about the patients needs.

Elle was condescending, unprofessional, defensive, argumentative, and un-helpful. Even after trying to explain to her countless times what my insurance told me, she continued to tell me they are wrong. I have never been to a dentist office so unprofessional and discriminatory as this one. Elle was only “able” to reduce my $192 charge to a $138 charge, which is still absurd for a cleaning. However, since the fees for laser treatment for the gums and fluoride were not explained properly, and pushed upon me, I ended up falling for this scam and now am stuck paying $138. Elle did not rectify the situation, nor did she make it better. Completely unprofessional behavior from a manager-and I hope the owner is aware.

I recently switched to this dentist office because I thought they would be better for me, but they proved me wrong. These people are money hungry and take advantage of younger people. I will not be coming back here again. I advise everyone to be careful going here as well cause they might do the same thing to you.

My hygienist, Tasia, was also gentle, and kept everything lighthearted and, dare I say, fun! Even though the Summerlin office is a bit of a drive for us, I'd rather drive a little further out to receive great care than stick close to home and get mediocre care. Went in for my routine cleaning. Advised that I felt a very small non painful amount of sensitivity. (Thought I had a cavity maybe). A new dentist hadn’t seen before took a look and told me I had tooth decay on 2 old crowns. He recommended I have them replaced and told me this would also take care of the small sensitivity. Got the temps in that same day. 2 weeks later while the dentist was putting in the 2 crowns he would rest his hand on my mouth pressing my lips into my teeth. Never had a dentist do this to me. I think he was having a hard time removing the cement. Afterwards he said it was rough on my gums and it might be a bit sensitive for a couple days. A week later the pain had not subsided, it’s unbearable to eat. It doesn’t feel like my gums, it felt like my tooth next to one of the crowns. I called and told them this. Requested I see a different dentist. They sent me to their location in the SW. This dentist said I didn’t give it enough time and the pain should go away soon. Gave me something to reduce sensitivity. It’s been 2 weeks and the pain is the same. It’s difficult to floss, eat and drink. If the assistants weren’t so nice I’d give them 1 star. Feels like they sold me a problem, so I can buy the solution. (A root canal)

What an amazing first time patient experience! True Dentistry was an absolutely phenomenal from the moment I walked in. I was greeted by the ladies up front and it was a warm welcoming. All the staff at True Dentistry are exceptional and knowledgeable. Make sure you ask for their laser bacteria reduction, it’s like a spa treatment for your gums!

Dr Hyer helped my wife with her very first dental implant crown. She is an incredibly anxious person, especially around dentists. She also is not very good at following instructions. Dr. Hyer showed an incredible amount of patience (way more than I would have had) and helped answer all her questions. His chair side manner is unmatched and he is really funny!!! Being able to laugh at his corny jokes really helped us to relax and know that we were in good hands. The crown is beautiful and we haven’t had any problems since then. We definitely know where we will be going with all our dental needs in the future!
